Unpopular opinion: Israel is so shit when it comes to respecting the international community. They want a war, I am certain of it, they are convinced that they can drag in the West. You watch if by the end of this Israel's borders aren't bigger than when they started. I am also tired of the US media talking heads being shills for the Israeli's and will justify any behaviour no matter how poor. Israel is in defiance of so many US resolutions for years about occupied lands and they just don't give a shit. The attack on the Iranian embassy by Israel was a huge overreach and the wrong way to protest your suspect ties between Hezbollah and Iran. I don’t want to misspeak, and everything is nuanced, but weren’t you saying it wasn’t worth fighting Russia when they annexed Ukraine? Is this that different? (Correct me where I’m wrong; I’m seeking clarification)

And Hamas attacked Israel with a rocket. Rafah being evacuated and the Israeli invasion is imminent. Because Hamas is using human shields, children killed in return fire as Israel took out the team with rockets.

I don’t want to misspeak, and everything is nuanced, but weren’t you saying it wasn’t worth fighting Russia when they annexed Ukraine? Is this that different? (Correct me where I’m wrong; I’m seeking clarification) The difference between the two, is the differing consequences. If Russia takes Ukraine and it becomes part of Russia, that's the likely end of it for now. There is no NATO led invasion if Russia proves her willingness to rebuild and not murder everyone as The EU would likely want to work with Russia to ensure the safety of The Ukrainian people. It's not a fantastic scenario, but a likely one. If Israel... no, when Israel takes Palestine, they're likely facing heat from all directions and the fighting continues. Terrorism will be ripe and Israel's willingness to engage will likely put them in a direct way with Iran's proxies or Iran itself. Israel is also important to the United States as it counterbalances the influence of the Arab Nations in the region. It's why the talking heads put over Israel, and justify their actions. It's why the United States gives a shit, instead of keeping their distance like they have with Ukraine - as Ukraine and it's fields of wheat and potatoes holds little political influence, or at least not a lot compared to Israel in The Middle East.

Rumble in the desert has no end in sight. Just another deference of open conflict down the line for another 10 to 20 years. Hamas will have most of their toys taken away, then agree to play nice, until they can rebuild.

Not exactly. Security vote is needed which the US has veto power on. We made it clear we plan to veto it. US will not agree to this until it is decided what the boundaries of palestine are, and the two sides find a way to live with each other.

The usual suspects of course, The United Stars, Israel of course, but Argentina, Czechia, Hungary, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau and Papua New Guinea...
Funnily including The United States and Israel, Czechia, Micronesia, Nauru and Papua New Guinea all previously voted against a ceasefire and allowing access for humanitarian aid back in December. While Argentina, Hungary and Palau chose not to vote.
Funny that.
I guess we all know who butters their bread.

US wants to keep that ally in the Middle East. I am all for pulling out and letting the arab world destroy Israel, but that is not likely to be a realistic option that will happen.
More realistically, is young progressive do not vote, and Trump takes the next election with a mandate letting the US arms Israel to the teeth and giving them the go ahead to destroy Palestine once and for all.
Great irony is Palestine will likely be destroyed utterly because pro-Palestine protesters want to punish Biden for failing to bring the peace to the middle east we heard people trying to solve all our lives.
Trump pretty much gave his plan, arm Israel and have them CRUSH Palestine as fast as possible. Not be shocked in the least if that included direct military aid under the guise of stopping a terrorist origination from attacking an ally. And fastest way to lasting peace is for one of the two parties to be utterly decimated and removed from the situation.
I imagine Gaza is annexed and turned into the tourist resorts Jared wants, and then they annex the West Bank and exile Palestine into Jordan. What is left of Gaza will be exiled into Egypt. And Israel will have lasting peace in its borders at gunpoint.
Meanwhile progressives make shocked Pikachu faces that Trump would dare do something like this after them staying home puts him back in office. Their protests will of course be strictly online, because Trump already said he will use the US Army against college protests for Palestine. I imagine the National Guard will be deployed to stop any dissent from starting.

Nope. Us leaves is Israel the Arabs fucking level it. What is being overlooked really is every country in that area will gladly exterminate the Jews of Israel first chance they could.
People focus on the 2 million or so Palestine people under threat and seem to forget that 8 million Jews will be under threat if the US walks away.
But it would also be unlikely Israel goes down without a fight. People seem to forget that have Jericho III missiles armed with nuclear warheads. Can target the entire Middle East region with them.
Of course if people get their wish and Israel falls somehow without using the nukes, these warheads will be under Hamas control, a group that for decades was engaged in suicide bombings. They will have nuclear weapons that can hit like a third of the global and no regards whatsoever about innocents dying. And if Israel is to be believed, they have global range. Not entirely confirmed, but very possible these nukes could hit any location on Earth.

No, I think it is terrifying that Israel has hundreds of missiles buried under the sand.
I have no dog in this fight. Israel and Hamas deserve each other is all I will say, as both are fucking awful and seem to prefer fighting each other than any lasting peace. I support the people of Palestine, but fuck their leaders and "military."

Last time Jordan took Palestinian refugees they tried to assasinate the king of Jordan and got themselves expelled in short order.
