You've heard of Stephen A Smith and Max Kellerman. You've heard of Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless. You've heard of the morning talk shows with not-so-super-superstar Nate Burlerson. You might even see Reggie Bush and Derek Carr on the NFL Network at times. But here is where the gurus come! Sure, we're not as sharp as Michael Irvin or as prime as primetime Deion Sanders, but we're pretty damn cool! Am I right? Of course I am.
With 92 days left until the NFL Season begins, I am super excited! Not only for this season, but for the future of the NFL. Sure, we got the same old with the Patriots in the Super Bowl last year, but the underdogs from Philly came and won the Super Bowl.... even though Nick Foles did not outperform Tom Brady. Still, what we saw last year was a preview of the future. Our first conversation will be titled:
LET'S RUN WITH THE ROOKIES!
The runningbacks came RUNNING into the NFL. ROTY Alvin Kamara allowed Drew Brees to have the easiest passing year of his career by being an absolute beast. Sure, they had a 2 headed monster last season but Mark Ingram will be suspended for the first 4 games of the season to start the year. How will Alvin Kamara look in his 2nd year in the NFL? Kareem Hunt was everyones favorite little monster last season, but now everyone is talking about his decline? Biggest reason being the return of Spencer Ware and a new QB in Patrick Mahomes at the helm. Everyone is also assuming Andy Reid is going to lower the work for Hunt so he doesn't burn out again like he did mid season last year. There was my personal favorite rookie RB from last year Leonard Fournette who missed some games due to injuries, was suspended for a game and STILL put up awesome numbers, especially touchdowns. Chris Ivory left and Leonard Fournette is going to get an extra year of experience on the not-so-fast NFL speed. How much better can this monster be if he gets to play a whole 16 game season? Then there was Christian McCaffrey who was an absolute stud and savior for Cam Newton last season. Want an interesting fact? Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara were two of only three rookie RB's to receive 100 carries and 100 targets in one season. The other one? The aforementioned host of a TV Show, Reggie Bush. Remember his hype? It was on some Saquon Barkley level. We'll get to that savage in a few.
So we know of those 4 major rookies from last season. Let's talk about two other guys. One that talked more then he walked on the field and another one who was off to a blazing start and ended up being injured for the rest of the season. Two guys who I guess you can say were traded for during the draft, because the two teams swapped 2nd round picks. Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings and Joe Mixon of the Cincinnati Bengals. Dalvin Cook may show up this season and show everyone that he was the true best RB of the draft or he may not get the ball too much because of his importance to this great-on-paper Vikings squad. Joe Mixon was doing a lot of talking for the Bengals last season, comparing himself to Leveon Bell. Everyone who had a talk show was following along and talking him up. They kept saying "this is going to be his week..." every single week and then the season ended and.... nothing happened. Now everyone is saying "this is going to be his season" and there really is no excuse for his play not to match his talk.
There's also so much more that have a chance to burst into the scene in their second season. Foreman of the Texans, Cohen of the Bears, Jones/Williams of the Packers. The class was so strong that there's some good names that don't crack the top 8.
So that leads to TOPIC #1: Rank me your opinion on how these 2nd round RBs will finish off the season? From best to not as best.
Now, let's get into the rookie runningbacks of this season. Because let's be honest, last years rookie RB class may have been the best ever. Better then the 2013 class that had some great numbers, as well. Last years class has put the pressure on this years class to duplicate. Can they, will they? Only time will tell. However, it's got everyones eyes on them.
So let's start with the most prized name, the #2 overall pick in the draft; Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants. Everyone loved this guy in college, including myself. I haven't been so happy for a homer draft pick like I was for the G-Men drafting Barkley since the Titans drafted my GOAT, Vince Young. Yes, he was awesome. However, he is coming into the Big Apple with the most hype I've seen for a RB since Reggie Bush. Maybe Adrian Peterson? I don't know. This dudes hype has been unreal and his coverage is going to be insane this season. The ones who want to see him fail are hoping he is the next Bishop Sankey and the ones who want to see him succeed are saying a better Adrian Peterson. I'm pulling for the better AP. This may be the best RB in Giants history when he's done. Or, am I falling for the hype train too much? You know, anything can happen. Injuries can destroy a career, the NFL could be too tough or in Barkley's case; he gets eased in and splits carries with Jonathan Stewart and everyone says BUST! So this guy is still everyones pick for rookie of the year. We shall see.
The other big talk for rookie runningback has been the man that the Patriots drafted in the first round, Sony Michel. The reason he is getting so much hype is because the last time Bill drafted a runningback with a first rounder was Lawrence Maroney and he wasn't too shabby. Everyone is curious as to what the Evil Empire has planned for this guy. My biggest question is; will he be the star RB or will he be a part of the system with Burkhead/White. I don't think the Patriots are going to let Sony take over the team, so that gets me thinking that he was just a "good fit" for the Patriots system. His numbers may not be the best of the class, but he'll fit what the Patriots need. Right, wrong?
My personal second favorite was unfortunately drafted by a shitty franchise in the Washington Redskins and his name is Derrius Guice. Some LSU fans say that he was "better" then Fournette, but the off the field issues didn't allow him to get talked up as much. He is going to look like Fournette on the field. Running the ball moreso then catching it out of the backfield. However, how will the Redskins play him? Chris Thompson is an injury waiting to happen, but is moreso the 3rd down back if anything. Rob Kelly shouldn't be getting playing time over him. I'm excited for Guice and I think he will be right up there in production with Barkley.
One thing I'm starting to learn is that John Elway is not good at picking QBs. Everything, including a broken down Peyton Manning, has not been stellar for him at the position. Now they're relying on a "SKOL wonderboy" from Minnesota Case Keenum. Is that going to be good news for Thomas/Sanders? I don't know. However, I'm willing to bet it's going to help their rookie RB if they give him the reigns. Royce Freeman is being given the job to lose in training camp and his competition is Devonte Booker. If he can't beat out Booker for the position, he is not going to be an anybody. So we shall see how the Oregon product produces in the Mile High. He has a huge ceiling that only he can help touch.
The Seattle Seahawks have been looking for answers ever since they let Beast Mode go (and not into the endzone of the Super Bowl) at the RB position. It's been a "who's up next" for that position recently. Now, everyone is wondering if they got their answer from San Diego State. That man is Rashaad Penny and he is being put into a position to stand behind Russell Wilson and hopefully not get annihilated by the terrible offensive line that they have. In a tough division when it comes to defenses, the Seahawks are obviously in a rebuilding mode. Penny hopes to not only be a part of it, but be a huge part of it. It's going to be tough with that O-Line and he still has to beat out Chris Carson. I don't like his chances of being a stud.
Ronald Jones Jr. AKA ROJO will be a big part of this Buccaneers offense, in my opinion. It's not only his job to lose this offseason, but his career to make if the Buccaneers management allows it. There's no reason guys like Barber and Sims should be getting in the way of letting this guy take over the Buccaneers backfield. I am hopeful that they let him take over from the start as he could be a big part of this young offense. A product of USC, he has an opportunity to come to other side of the US and dominate. I like his chances to put up big numbers.
There's more rookies then the ones I have mentioned that have a chance to make a name for themselves. They face tougher competition to star, though. Guys like Nick Chubb and Kerryon Johnson may be more of a committee then allowed to take over. Chase Edmunds is going to be behind David Johnson and Kalen Ballage has to deal with Drake and the "hopeful mentor signing" of Frank Gore. However, this could be a very exciting rookie class of RB's.
Topic #2, which RB's will shine this year? Will they underperform/overperform last years class? Rank your top rookie RB's for this season!
I hope you guys come in and join in on the fun. We will start the countdown to the NFL season talking about this and every few days, I will bring up a new topic. I am having a kid soon, so I could disappear at any moment, but until then; let's shoot the football shit! I'm excited! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!

I have no knowledge on number two, except that I liked the Chubb kid the one time I saw him.
As for the class from last year, I’ll rank them Kamara, Fournette, Cook, Hunt (slight step back with the first year QB), McCaffery and Dixon. Obviously the one I can talk the most about is Kareem Hunt and while he was obviously good last year, I thought he was at times a product of a system more than doing it on his own. The New England game he was spectacular, but they’re really susceptible to what the Chiefs (and subsequently the Eagles) do on offense. The next two games he wasn’t great... except he had a huge play in both games which kept the narrative going. He’s a home run hitter who can break some tackles, but if things aren’t going right for him he couldn’t fix it with talent alone.

I can see Mixon taking a pretty significant step forward this season. He started to get things going last last year (5.0ypc in his last four games), and the Bengals have addressed their major o-line issues by acquiring Cordy Glenn and Billy Price.

BREAKING NEWS:
Jameis Winston has been suspended for the first 3 games of the season due to an alleged incident with an Uber Driver, in get this, March 2016.
I’m sure an appeal is coming, but it won’t do much for Winston. Losing Winston for 3 games in that very tough division is going to be hard to come back from.

We are getting closer and closer to the next football season and I am STOKED! This season is going to be a blast. Last year, we got hit with so many star injuries that it was literally sucking the fun out of the game. That along with the kneeling bullshit. I'm over the second and am hoping against big stars being injured. I want to see the best face the best week in and week out. So many awesome things to talk about this upcoming season and I'm in that mood to start this up.
I have decided to come right in and talk about how I see this NFL season ending up. Is this my early NFL Season predictions thread? No, but feel free to chime in if you want to. I'm going to start off with the division that has the Super Bowl Champions in it. I am going to start with the NFC EAST.
Coming into last season, everyone was high on two teams. The Dallas Cowboys were supposed to continue their dominance in the division. Dak and Zeke were supposed to evolve and take over.... then the Zeke suspension thing happened. Throughout the whole pre-season and regular season, everyone was wondering when Zeke was going to serve his suspension. To start off the year, it looked like no matter when the suspension happened, the Cowboys were in good hands with Dak Prescott. He looked awesome and then Zeke got suspended. All of a sudden, Dak became Whack. In the fantasy football world, he was a nuclear bomb to a fantasy team. To the Cowboys of the NFL, he played awful and the Cowboys just couldn't squeeze into the playoffs. Now, they come into this season looking worse on offense. Losing Dez Bryant and Jason Witten, the Cowboys are surely turning this team into the Dak/Zeke team. Ask anyone in Dallas and they believe the Cowboys will be fine. Ask Dak Prescott and he believes that a team doesn't need a #1 WR to win it all. Looking at the Eagles of last season and the Patriots of the past decade, maybe he's right. But the WR core of Hurns, Gallup and Beasley is not something to brag about. The O-Line is still solid, their defense is still better then decent, but I just can't see this team making the playoffs unless Dak becomes Russell Wilson or Zeke becomes The Freak and has an MVP caliber season.
I'll move on to the other hyped team of last season and I will talk about the New York Giants. Everyone knew their O-Line and RB game was weak going into last season, but they had OBJ, Shepard, a great looking rookie in Evan Engram and the signing of big time Brandon Marshall. Don't forget the NYPD Blue. Well, the injuries piled up immediately. OBJ done. Brandon Stone Hands done. Sterling Shepard missed games. Eli Manning got benched. The defense turned on each other. People got inhouse suspensions. All while Ben McAdoo stood there like a chump. The Giants were the worst team in the NFC last season and were rewarded the #2 pick and hired a new Head Coach in Pat Shurmur. A lot of people thought this would be the draft that the Giants found Eli's replacement, but instead they did the right thing and found someone to help take pressure off of Eli and drafted the future ROTY, Saquon Barkley. Then to top it off, they got Will Hernandez in the 2nd round to help their O-Line. OBJ is back, healthy and locked in mentally. Evan Engram is another year in. Eli Manning is, in my opinion, a sleeper pick for.... WAIT FOR IT.... 2018-2019 NFL MVP. Yes, you heard it here. Eli Manning is going to have the best year of his career. What do I think the Giants will do this season? Stay tuned.
Another team in the NFC East that made some big changes is the Washington Redskins. Last season was a bust. Kirk Cousins played his heart out. Chris Thompson shined. Jordan Reed was injured and Vernon Davis was solid. Oh and those WR's led by Terrell Pryor; complete trash. The fact that the Redskins still didn't believe Kirk Cousins who somehow had a solid year wasn't their star QB blows my mind. They have now moved onto Mr. Vanilla, Alex Smith. They got rid of Terrelle Pryor and the WR weapons they added.... blah. Derrius Guice, their knight and shining rookie, is out for the season with a Torn ACL. Chris Thompson is still injured. Their RB core is Kelly and Perine. The defense may be a little bit better then people are giving them credit for, but this team (like last years team) is made of glass. The injuries are breaking them already and I don't see this team doing anything valuable in this upcoming season. Maybe an early draft pick and a healthy Guice can help this team get better next season. This season; no chance.
We'll wrap up this division by talking about the Super Bowl Champions, The Philadelphia Eagles! Carson Wentz was written off as average coming into last season. Blount was finished. Jeffrey was just making a quick pay day. Nobody really cared for Zack Ertz. Their defense had some nice new pieces, but there was no way they were going to be able to compete. Not yet. Then last year happened. The Eagles added Jay Ajayi mid-season and they were dominating opponents. Then Carson Wentz, the leader for MVP last season, got injured and was out for the year. Then once again, the Eagles were written off. Nobody believed in them. I would say more, but all you have to do is go watch Kelce's Speech and you'll understand. The true underdog story was a thing of beauty and fit in perfectly with the city of Philadelphia. Then this off season happened. Nobody knows if Carson Wentz is going to be ready for Week 1. Alshon Jeffrey might be starting the year off on the PUP list. The defense looks solid, but have a bunch of vets on it. The question is, did this team break themselves too much to get that trophy to Philadelphia last season that they won't have it in them to continue on? Quite possibly. No team has won the NFC East in back to back years since the Andy Reid/Donovan McNabb Philly run between 2001-2004. Could this Eagles team be that team that holds it down or is history too far and long to not repeat itself?
My predictions are my predictions and they are as follows:
1- New York Giants- 11-5 (NFC East Champions/#4 SEED) 2- Philadelphia Eagles- 9-7 (Miss the Playoffs, finishing 7th) 3- Dallas Cowboys- 6-10 4- Washington Redskins- 2-14 (finish with the #2 overall pick in the draft)
I will continue with my predictions, but feel free to chime in with your opinions for the NFC East. Up next, I will tackle the NFC North and we will talk about the Vikings who came so close, the return of Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, the tough and heart filled Detroit Lions and the possible resurgence of the Chicago Bears.

Let's move onto the NFC North. This division has the HARDEST SOS (Strength of schedule) this season. When talking about the teams, I will discuss their ranking in the SOS scale. So, allow me to start with the team that I believe is going to win the division.
We are going to start things off by talking about the Minnesota Vikings! This team won the division last season and by a "miracle" made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game. That team was without two big names that will be on the team this season. One was on the roster, but was on the IR. His name is Dalvin Cook. He started the season off super hot and then was lost for the season. Everyone is expecting big things on his return, but from a fantasy value, I'd stay away. Only because his back up, Latavius Murray, has scored 20 TD's in the last two seasons and will be a beast in the 10-zone. Their biggest (and most expensive) addition is at the QB spot. He has a completely guaranteed contract and his name is Kirk Cousins. After years of being disrespected in DC, he comes to a team that is Super Bowl or Bust. He is going to have the best weapons he has ever had in his career and I predict a career year from him this season. I believe the same for Stefon Diggs and I think Adam Thielen and Kyle Rudolph play their usual good to great roles. That's only the offense. Their defense may finish top in the NFL this season and although they have the (tied for) 8th hardest SOS this season, it still ties them for the easiest in their division. I see huge things for this team this season. I expect top 3 offense and top 3 defense. Minnesota may be the best team in the NFL this season and I only see them losing to Nawlins (after a 7-0 start) and Chicago (Week 17, resting starters) this season. 5-1 in the divison, by choice. You like that? SKOL!
The team I believe will finish with the second best record this season may surprise a lot of people, too. I am going with the Detroit Lions! Yes, I think the Lions are going to make some noise this season, but falter towards the end. They are tied for the 2nd hardest SOS this season, but they are gritty. Their performances in the 4th quarters are great to watch. They have the heart of a Lion (boom) and a new Head Coach running the squad. Their running game has a lot of question marks. Blount is a goal line back and worthless anywhere else. Abdullah is trash. Riddick is solid for his role as a 3rd down back who can catch. Their best RB is probably their rookie, Kerryon Johnson, who may have a hard time getting the ball as much as he deserves. Stafford is a great QB as long as he stays healthy. His weapons are Tate, Marvin and BabyTron Galloday. Their defense should be average to above average this season. They will be in the playoff hunt all season, but I see them losing their last 2 games of the season (Minny/GB) and just missing out. After two straight 9 win seasons, I expect the same this season.
To the surprise of many, at the third seed, I am ranking the Green Bay Packers. Yes, Aaron Rodgers is back. That means a lot. They also come into this season with the HARDEST SOS. This will not be an easy return season for Discount Double Check. He loses his best friend, Jordy Nelson. They add Jimmy Graham. Aaron Rodgers is not known to be a TE loving QB, so this pick up has me very curious. With Graham is Adams who is another red zone threat. I expect the Packers to score a lot of points, but I don't see them winning either game against Minnesota this season. I think this defense is going to be trash and their running game is suspect with injuries and suspensions. They will play a meaningful Week 17 game, but it will be because they're going to want to knock the Lions out of the playoffs. A .500 season is oncoming and it's only because they have Aaron Rodgers.
Also tied with the 8 hardest SOS this season is another team with a new Head Coach, the team I have finishing at the bottom of the division (again) and it's the Chicago Bears! Every NFL show is hyping this team up like they are going to grizzly (eh) their way to the top of the division this season. I'm sorry, but not yet. This division is still too tough and Trubisky is still too unproven. They have two big offensive signings in Allen Robinson and Trey Burton and although I expect huge things from Trey and decent things from AR, I still don't think this team is there yet. Matt Nagy is supposed to be the next Sean McVeigh, but a lot went right for last seasons Rams team to get where they got. Starting with the Niners sucking pre-Jimmy, the Seahawks Legion getting boomed and the Cards losing DJ. The Bears don't have that luxury as their division only got better. The Bears may be good in a year or two or Trubisky might suck so much that the great D they are building will be the only good thing about them. I want to believe the hype, but not this season.
My predictions are my predictions and they are as follows:
1- Minnesota Vikings- 14-2 (NFC North Champions/#1 SEED) 2- Detroit Lions- 9-7 3- Green Bay Packers- 8-8 4- Chicago Bears- 5-11

Aaron Rodgers has won double digit games every season he's played in double digit games since his debut season , and done so with far shittier defenses and run games than he has this year. I could give a shit about the SOS , that has always been a flawed metric to judge future success.
If Aaron Rodgers is healthy this team isn't winning less than 10 games.

Now, we will move onto the best division in the NFL. We are going to move over to the NFC SOUTH! This is by far the hardest division to predict, but it's also the funnest to watch. Let's do this!
A miracle stopped this team from making the NFC Championship and possibly the Super Bowl. This team traded away a lot to move up in the draft for a questionable-to-the-world draft pick. However, they may know what they're doing. Winning this division for the 2nd year in a row, I'm picking the New Orleans Saints! When Drew Brees has the worst season as a starter in New Orleans with Passing yards/TD's and STILL breaks a record for completion percentage; you know you're talking about a legend. This team boasts the OROTY AND the DROTY from last season. How insane is that?! Very. Mark Ingram will be suspended for the first 4 games of the season this year, which means we will get to see more from Super Kamario. Have we even seen the best of him yet? The numbers he put up last season seems unmatchable. His YAC and rushing yard average is just insane. Everyone's expecting a slight decline, but we could be witnessing a legend in the making with him. Michael Thomas will be Michael Thomas. Another steady, above average WR that Drew makes look better. I expect more TDs for him this season as I expect an uptick from Brees in that category. This team is a Super Bowl favorite this year and it's not because of their offense. It's because of their defense. Davenport has to play outerworldy to make that draft day trade make sense. Their defense is going to better then last year. This team is going to be FUN to watch. I really like this team this year and that's with them having the (tied for) 2nd hardest SOS this year. To reach greatness, they will have to survive greatness. I expect greatness from them.
With the second team, I have a team who will take the first wildcard spot in the NFC. I am picking the Carolina Panthers! This is a really a toss up, in my opinion for the 2nd seed in the division. However, the addition of Norv Turner has me excited about the potential of this team. They are most likely going to be run heavy. Cam Newton is going to have his best passing accuracy season of his career as that's what they're working on. Christian McCaffrey is going to look like Ladanian Tomlinson out there this season; yes I said that! DJ Moore is going to be Steve Smith Jr this season and that defense is going to remain Carolina strong. A lot to like from this team this season and I expect them looking really good this season. Not good enough to win the division, but an improvement from last years very good season. It will be tight for the division as they face the Saints Week 15 and Week 17, but they'll lose that MNF game at home in Week 15 and that'll eliminate them from contention. A week 17 victory over the resting Saints will help them secure that 5 seed, though as Nawlins should be locked in at their seed at the time of that game.
The third team is no question going to be the Atlanta Falcons. Still burned from that Super Bowl debacle, they didn't look as explosive on offense last season after losing their OC. However, they were still good enough to make the playoffs. Quite honestly, if Julio didn't slip in the end zone, they would've been contenders to make the Super Bowl again by knocking off Philly. A lot went right for Philly to win it all last year and two of those things came from this division. The Minnesota Miracle screwed Nawlins (who would've won) from getting to the NFC Championship and Julio slipping and falling cost the Falcons the chance to knock them out in their first playoff game. This Falcons team will be good this year and Julio is going to have his best year of his career, now that he's contract happy. A week 16 loss against Carolina will put a lot of pressure on them to make the playoffs, but an easy Week 17 game against Tampa Bay will help them sneak in. For the second straight season, there will be 3 teams from this division making the playoffs as I expect this team to take over that final wildcard spot.
The worst team in this divison is no question going to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! Jameis Winston is serving an Uber-sized suspension. Ryan Fitzpatrick is starting. Their starting RB as of now is Peyton Barber while rookie Ronald Jones looks like a bust during the preseason. Mike Evans had a decline, but this season we should find out what kind of a WR he really is. Desean Jackson is declining and this team is going to stink. They'll go 0-6 in their division this season and might even have a midseason coaching fire. This team will win a few games when Jameis returns, but not enough to matter. Straight trash in Tampa.
My predictions are my predictions and they are as follows:
1- New Orleans Saints- 13-3 (NFC South Champions/#3 SEED) 2- Carolina Panthers- 11-5 (WILDCARD/#5 SEED) 3- Atlanta Falcons- 10-6 (WILDCARD/#6 SEED) 4- Tampa Bay Buccaneers- 3-13

Let's wrap up the NFC by talking about the NFC West!
I will start off by talking about last years winners and my prediction to do the same this season. Let's talk about the Los Angeles Rams! What Sean McVeigh did last season with this team is nothing short of remarkable. The turn around from Jared Goff and Todd Gurley were unbelievable. This team was just dropping bombs on opponents. Big plays, big plays and big plays. Their defense is led by Aaron Donald who is a monster and they have added Ndamakong Suh, Aqib Talib AND Marcus Peters to the mix. This team is going to be SICK! If McVeigh didn't prove he's a genius last season, look what he did this preseason. He is saving his starters for the regular season. The only thing that could compromise this team is the egos of their newly signed free agents. Obviously injuries could screw up any team, but ignoring that it has to come down to egos. If McVeigh can control these guys, this team is a heavy favorite to win it all. Oh yeah, they also got rid of Sammy Watkins and added Brandin Cooks to the offense. I'm actually going to edit something from my last post to this. This team is going to be sick.
With the second seed, I am going to surprise a few people. I have a good feeling about this team coming into this season and that team is the Arizona Cardinals! Yes, their O-Line is absolute trash BUT David Johnson is back. His wrist injury from last season isn't going to affect him this season as that is a fluke injury if anything. He is aiming for 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards for this season and I believe that he WILL get it. Larry Fitzgerald continues to be the Wise One who doesn't age and Christian Kirk has a lot of potential. Their defense is good, even though they lost the Honey Badger, but I still think they're good enough to keep games close. Even with a new HC, I think this team is ready to bounce back. Also, they have the most underrated QB starting for them as of now in Sam Bradford. I believe they will be good enough to finish second here, but going by my predictions, there is no room left for them in the playoffs.
With the third seed, I am going to give it to the San Francisco 49ers. Yes, The Handsome One, Jimmy G hasn't lost a game yet, but that don't mean anything coming into the new season. Their big offensive signing is a guy who hasn't proven anything as a work horse back and he got a hefty contract to be just that; Jerrick McKinnon. Their D still doesn't look good enough to contend, yet everyone is drooling over this team. I have them 3rd, because I think the next team is going to be trash, but I don't see this being that good of a season for this team as people seem to believe.
Then going to maybe the biggest surprise of this division, let's talk about the Seattle Seahawks. This team has lost their foundation, which is the BOOM SQUAD. They're going to hold Earl Thomas hostage until this season falls apart. Doug Baldwin is going to play injured all season and I doubt he plays all 16. Russell Wilson lost Jimmy Graham and will still have to run for his life with that horrendous O-Line. They're going to get scored on a lot and not be able to keep up. The Seahawks are going to finish in the bottom of the NFC this season and what wouldn't surprise me is if Pete Carroll pulls a Pete Carroll and leaves the team under his own accord mid-season, because his loyalty to falling franchises was proven enough to me in the NCAA World. Fuck that guy and his decision to pass in the Super Bowl. The rebuild of this franchise will take awhile and the fall starts this season. Nothing I can see Russell Wilson being able to do to save it. He wont be a Seahawk in 2 seasons.
My predictions are my predictions and they are as follows:
1- Los Angeles Rams- 13-3 (NFC South Champs/#2 SEED) 2- Arizona Cardinals- 8-8 3- San Francisco 49ers- 5-11 4- Seattle Seahawks- 4-12

They've also never been in a tougher division then what they're dealing with this upcoming season. I wouldn't be surprised to be honest, but that's my prediction. I don't see why the division is all that much tougher , the Bears are still in rebuild mode with an unknown quarterback , the Lions are always middling and turning over their roster and the Vikings are bound to come down a little bit with a new quarterback and most importantly ... different OC. The division is what it's always been.

What have we learned so far? My pick for the NFC Champions being the New Orleans Saints. So now we move over to the AFC and this is going to be chaotic. Allow me to start by talking about the division that represented the Super Bowl last season. Let's talk about the AFC EAST!I am going to start things off by talking about the New England Patriots! Every time you hear about the AFC East, you hear about this team. They have the greatest HC of all time, the greatest QB of all time and if Gronk would to play another 5 years of uninjured football, he would be the greatest Tight End of all time. Last year, they lost a shoot out. This offseason they lost a lot of pieces. Most talked about being Brandin Cooks, Dion Lewis, Nate Solder and The CB OF THE OFFSEASON, Malcolm Butler. All you've heard this offseason is negative gossip about this team's inner works. Turmoil between Brady and Bill, "why didn't Bill play Butler?", "Will Gronk retire or play?" and most noisiest, "Who is this guy who Benjamin Buttoned Tom Brady and why don't the Patriots like him?!" Well, that's a whole lot of noise and negative noise is no stranger to the Patriots. They've been through Spygate and Deflegate and continued to make the Super Bowl and most times win them. So why does this year feel so different? Because their roster looks the worst it's ever looked. Their O-Line is questionable. Julian Edelman is suspended, they released a few WR's and Eric Decker quietly retired. Their WR's right now are Chris Hogan, Cordarelle Patterson and Philip Dorsett. Yes, they have Gronkasaurus and yes Edelman comes back Week 5, but holy shit this is going to be A LOT to overcome. That is why I think this is the season that the New England Patriots, wait for it.... MISS OUT ON THE PLAYOFFS! Well, if the Patriots don't make the playoffs and win the AFC East, then who does? That answer is simple. It will be the New York Jets! Yes, I miss Blindy and I can't even tag him because you guys stopped his existence! But it's okay. This may be the ultimate sacrifice he and every Jets fan has to make. Because once the Jets announce their starting QB as Sam Darnold, this team is going to explode. Everyone was surprised by their performance last season and they lost a bunch of close games. They got screwed against New England, too. This team is young and ready. They are the future of this division and I am proclaiming them to win this division. I expect Crowell/Powell to be a decent enough RB tandem. I expect Robby Anderson to continue to rise and I expect health to be on their side. Sam Darnold is the saviour and the last time they had a rookie QB running the show; well they made the AFC Championship.... 2 times in a row. Thank you, Mark Sanchez. We will move on to the third team ranked in this division and by default, they are the Miami Dolphins! Yes, it's the return of Ryan Tannehill or as he likes to say; Ryan Tannehill 2.0. Whatever that means. He comes in without Jarvis Landry and although they nailed it with their 1st round pick, they are still a very weak looking team. They were kind enough to sign Frank Gore to give him a homecoming farewell. Davante Parker is trash and will be relied upon to be their top WR. Maybe Kenny Stills is their best WR this year, but still, it wont matter. This team is not good enough to compete and will be boring as fuck to watch on the television. They'll be bad, but not as bad as the next team. The worst team by process of elimination is the Buffalo Bills! They are terrible and my pick to be the WORST team in the NFL. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe the Bills will win something and that something is the 1st overall pick in next years draft. Shady did some shady offseason shit. Their O-Line looks weak. Their rookie QB looks like a bust. Nothing else to really say about this team, except that they'll be at the bottom of the NFL this season. My predictions are my predictions and they are as follows:
1- New York Jets- 10-6 (AFC EAST Champions/#4 SEED) 2- New England Patriots- 9-7 (#7 seed) 3- Miami Dolphins- 4-12 4- Buffalo Bills- 2-14 (#1 pick in the draft)

Moving on to the division that made it to the AFC Championship, we are going to talk about the AFC South!I'm going to jump right in and talk about the defending winners, the Jacksonville Jaguars! AKA SACKSONVILLE! AKA the best defense in the NFL. Yes, they're cocky, but they deserve it. Defense wins championships and this team has that type of team. Blake the Snake is frowned upon as a starting QB, but their running game is good enough. They were in the running for Dez, but Dez has decided to wait until later into the season to sign with a team now and that stings a little. They lost Marquis Lee and their WR's are now Keelan Cole and Dede Westbrook. Both are going to be good enough to help and I think Dede is going to SHINE. Their best offensive player has cut some weight to relieve the pressure off of his ankles and that man is the beast incarnate, Leanord Fournette. I absolutely adore him and with an improved O-Line, this dude is going to take over the NFL. Watch. This team will win the division again and will be a dominating team in the NFL. I love this team this season. Another team I love this season and I believe will make the playoffs as a wildcard is the Houston Texans! I love Deshaun Watson and I love The Honey Badger. Then there's Watt, Clowney, Mercilus and Hopkins. If this team stays healthy, they are going to be BAD ASS. I honestly can not wait for the show downs between Houston and Jacksonville this season and I truly believe they will split. There will be the Week 7 showdown in Jacksonville and then the Week 17 showdown that will be for the division title. Mark my words. That Week 17 game will decide the winner of this division. However, I'm banking on each team winning on each others turf. Everyone is expecting regression from Watson and I'm like, "Fuck outta here, he's the MJ of the NFL!" Word to Dabo. This defense is going to be great, this team is going to be great. shinobimusashi, get amped! Remember along time ago when I was a fan boy for Vince Young? Eddie George was the greatest RB of all time to me? Kerry Collins was UNDEFEATED and I wouldn't shut up about it!? Oh, I member. But that was a long time ago. Let's talk about the Tennessee Titans! Although their offense was stone age, ground and pound last season, they still made the playoffs. They made the playoffs AND won a game! Then they fired their coach, let go of Demarco Murray and signed two players who played in last years Super Bowl. Dion Lewis and Malcolm Butler! Everyone is expecting the QB Guru Matt Lefleur to turn Marcus Marriotta to the Heisman winning franchise QB that he's supposed to be. Corey Davis has to live up to his potential as a top 5 draft pick at WR. Taywan Taylor has Lebrons approval. Rishard Matthews got a contract extension with an injury. Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis are going to be thunder and lightning! AND THAT DEFENSE GETS NO RESPECK! Well, Tennessee, I respect you. I think you'll be good. I just don't think you'll be good enough enough to make the playoffs. I'll explain how they miss the playoffs when speaking of the next team. Last but not least, let's talk about the Indianapolis Colts! Yes, it's the return of Andrew Luck! Everyone in Indianapolis should be excited about this! However, the question remains, is he really back or is it going to be Luck-Lite? That was the longest IR I can remember a QB taking and coming back. So how are we supposed to be so sure he'll come back 100%? I'm not too confident that he will. Poor guy has to come back with a division filled with defensive juggernauts. This team stinks defensively. Their running game is trash. Macks injured, C. Michel is slated to start with that injury. They got some interesting rookie RBs, but minus TY Hilton and 2 decent TE's, this offense is GARBAGE. I don't think adding one great draft pick at O-Line automatically keeps Luck safe enough, but this team is going to have to rebuild and hope Andrew Luck survives it. I don't like this team at all this season. However, I do think their Week 17 match up will be their biggest win/loss of the season. They will screw themselves out of a better draft pick, but they'll do it by defeating the Tennessee Titans who will be fighting for that final Wildcard spot and knock them out of the playoffs! Oh, the juice! My predictions are my predictions and they are as follows:
1- Jacksonville Jaguars (AFC South Champions/#1 SEED)- 14-2 2- Houston Texans (WILDCARD/#5 SEED)- 13-3 3- Tennessee Titans- 9-7 (TIED FOR 7th with NE) 4- Indianapolis Colts- 3-13

So Kid is picking against Tom Brady , Aaron Rodgers and the defending Super Bowl champions. Man I wish I was your bookie.
And they can't stop a nosebleed? Are the Jets running out the 85 Bears or did I miss something? Also the Jets , or any other team in the AFC East couldn't start a nose bleed. That three headed monster of Darnold , Anderson and Crowell is going to take down the mighty Patriots? Lol.

I think the Patriots defence is clearly better now than last season. Their d-line was really poor last year but they've added Danny Shelton and Adrian Clayborn plus get Derek Rivers back from injury. Hightower is back as well in the middle.

I want to start rambling about Week 1, so here's my quick takes on the final two divisions.
AFC NORTH- 1- Steelers- 11-5 (AFC NORTH CHAMPS/#3 SEED) 2- Ravens- 8-8 3- Bengals- 8-8 4- Browns- 6-10
AFC WEST- 1- Chargers- 12-4 (AFC WEST CHAMPS/#2 SEED) 2- Broncos- 10-6 (WILDCARD/#6 SEED) 3- Chiefs- 6-10 4- Raiders- 4-12
So here's my AFC Playoff Predictions:
#1- Jacksonville Jaguars #2- Los Angeles Chargers
#3- Pittsburgh Steelers vs #6- Denver Broncos #4- New York Jets vs #5- Houston Texans
#1- Jacksonville Jaguars vs #5- Houston Texans #2- Los Angeles Chargers vs #3- Pittsburgh Steelers
#2- Los Angeles Chargers def. #5- Houston Texans to advance to the Super Bowl
So, my Super Bowl prediction is:
Philip Rivers vs Drew Brees. Circle of life.
New Orleans Saints wins the Super Bowl 27-23 as Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees finishes off a 2 minute drive with a 3rd down TD pass to.... Benjamin fucking Watson with 10 seconds to go. Drew Brees retires into the sunset with another Super Bowl and Philip Rivers watches from the sideline, in disbelief.
