I haven't seen anything too impressive from Josh Allen. I truly believe the Bills will finish last in the NFL this season.... but that's good news! Because next season, they'll have the #1 pick!

Allen has certainly made some highlight plays and will be a lot of fun to track. He's a true gunslinger, you're going to get some horrible decisions but also some unbelievable moments like this:

Although it worked, that was a horrible decision.

So what are everyone’s thoughts on Adrian Peterson signing with the Washington Redskins?
I love AP so I am amped and believe him when he says that he still got it.

I fell for it before but won't this time. He might have spotty success, but his style doesn't work as a role player (bad hands, can't block) and he's too worn down to stay healthy getting 20+ carries a game.
Plus there's the whole part about him being a shitty person.

I’m not defending AP, but I do believe that the pressure of success and making it out of poverty can make a man go crazy at times. Richie Incognito wanted the morgue to chop his deceased dad’s head off and was a homophobic racist in his career. Is he a bad person or someone who’s brain is fried?

I’m curious what’s happens first. OBJs contract extension or Aaron Rodgers contract extension. A lot of talk for both.
Also, we get to see Adrian Peterson in action tonight. Say what you want, but he’s going to be the starter for this team by Week 2 the latest.

All aboard the Dede train.
“Lead” WR Marquise Lee suffered a left knee injury and had to be carted off the field today. It doesn’t look good or sound good and to top it off, it came from an illegal hit. One has to wonder if letting go of Allen Robinson was the right move or not. Now it’s time for Cole and Dede to make a name for themselves and IMO, Fournette has the opportunity to become a SUPERSTAR this season. 20+ TDS.

Been watching a lot of Saints games so far this preseason(we're stuck with Shreveport tv/radio stations here, ugh), interesting to see Tom Savage, showed a lot of his bad habits that we seen a lot of in Houston in those first two preseason games but looks to be improving here against San Diego tonight. Maybe he can be good with a good o-line, anything would be better than that trash heap the Texans had up front last year.
I caught the tail end of the Texans vs Rams game, holy hell those backup o-linemen looked terrible, Webb looked pretty rough too even though he got them down there for that field goal attempt in the end.
Love those throwback Rams jersey/helmet designs, that's so pro football and classy af. Also cool seeing the Texans playing on LA Memorial Coliseum, one of those old school football venues that I never thought I'd see the Texans playing at(until last year).

Buffalo isn’t smart enough to finish dead last. They always manage to win at least 4 or 5 games every year.

Apparently the Seahawks had something resembling an offensive line last night. That's the Superbowl done and dusted then.
Texans on the other hand got torn apart in the brief spell the Rams 1sts were on the field. Watson took a hit from Suh pretty well but he saw a lot of pressure.

I'm still going with my Bengals rebound theory. Look at those jukes! Apparently the Seahawks had something resembling an offensive line last night. That's the Superbowl done and dusted then. They also have Michael Dickson.

The Lafell release is all tied to it being John Ross’ time.
To be honest and no homo to this, but if HR thinks a teams going to rebound, it automatically makes me believe it moreso then what the “NFL experts” say going off of his pickem and fantasy track record. So maybe the Bengals are legit this season.

You can go full homo Kid, I won't bite (hard). :brows: I'm sure you could go back through the archives and find plenty of my predictions that weren't great - but I do have a good feeling about this team. They've (largely) addressed the offensive line issue that was really holding the rest of the team hostage last season by adding Glenn and Price, Mixon started to come on at the back end of the season, and if Ross can emerge then the passing game has a legitimate second weapon beyond just the game or two that Tyler Eifert is able to suit up for. They've also got a fairly weak looking schedule.

Apparently, the New York Jets are in discussions (possibly serious ones) with the Raiders for a Khalil Mack trade. That would be HUGE for the Jets. Like win the AFC East huge.

Jesus it's a miserable outlook for Buffalo right now. Allen sacked 5 times in under a half of football behind the starting offensive line last night. Frightening.

No shame in getting abused by Geno Atkins - one of the truly underrated superstars of the NFL.

The Odell contract was expected , and one can't blame the Giants but it will always give me pause when non quarterbacks or pass rushers get those kind of deals. The cap continues to go up though and he's too big of a star not to give a contract to so we'll see what it means for the future.
Poor Josh Allen though , I never thought he was going to be that good even coming out but he is set up to fail hard in Buffalo.

Donald is supposedly nearing his deal for 80m guaranteed. Rams will have to move some pieces around next season to stay out of cap trouble. I know pass rushers are a premium but it's a lot of money.
Mack should now get a bit more and the off-season drama should end. The bar is too high now for the Texans to pay Clowney long-term, my best guess is they tag him if his production is good.

Think of how much Tyrod Taylor's run game improved while he was playing in Buffalo!

Quarterbacks are still underpaid considering their importance to the team. We've seen Rodgers is literally the difference between the Packers being legitimate championship contenders and not making the playoffs. He's carried a poor defence and ordinary coaching staff for years now, and by 2020 33 per will look positively cheap.
1 year and 16 million more for an MVP candidate than the Vikings are paying a middle-tier Kirk Cousins? That's hardly getting "bent over".

And the deal is structured as such to where it won’t cost 33 per year. He’s getting 80 million by next March and the reports I read was that they made it cap friendly as possible.
I’d still pay him twice that.

the reports I read was that they made it cap friendly as possible. They should go get Khalil Mack now. We traded away our biggest asset in Brett Hundley. Although Cobb was reported (and debunked) to be on the block. Some package with him would be okay.... Mack could transform this defense but I’m not sure I like parting with both 1st round picks.
