Ignore this, I only just noticed the banner with the page numbers stays at the top of the page as you scroll down.

I second this. But we can hardly be called PW.com anymore. Even PW might be a bit controversial. After all, we're not on prowrestling.com anymore. On the other hand, PW is what we are. Maybe PW is fine. You can't trademark an acronym.

PW or any variation thereof is fine IMO.  The owners made it known by the logo that they want that board known as prowrestling.com so they are welcome to it.  PW belong to us and as I said elsewhere Presbyterian Women (for Jesus).

One thing I would like to work on is making is so we have post formatting options on Quick Reply. Not sure if it's a forum skin/layout thing but I'll look into it - might just have to install a plugin.

🤯 Also will look into an option to click into a thread and be taken directly to the last post.  Agreed that would be helpful.

For now I've changed the forum name to PW Forums, open to more discussion though!

Would anyone want more posts per page? As HR said right now it's been set to 20 posts per page. We can also have more threads per page (right now that's at 15).

We can also continue to look into more forum skin options - very simple to do so.  Right now we have some light options and a dark option but can add more.  Have to figure out if there's a limit on storage but maybe we can settle on a few different types of layouts!

I think PW Forums is fine. No need to try to be extravagant. It makes this place feel more like home.

Honestly, now that I've changed the layout skin of this forum, I'm really fine with it. Somethings to fix that have already been addressed, but I have no qualms so far. I just hope the entire community can come back and this place can pop. In terms of the things needing a good fix, everyone seems to be on it 100%. So I'm set knowing you all know what you're doing.

Profile > Edit Profile > Settings > Enable Drafts, Saves your posts periodically during creation.  Click 'YES' to enable autosave.

I really wouldn't mind a night mode kind of skin if that's a possibility.

I like the theme called "Standard Forum Style". Kinda reminds me of PW before the "upgrade"

Since I lurk more at night, I love aquatic5. Hopefully in the future we can add another dark skin with red instead of teal, then I'm set

You can tag people with the tagging icon in the advanced reply page (it's an @ with a little messenger person icon next to it). Then it asks you to type a name to tag. This software has a unique ID for everyone that doesn't necessarily match up with their on-screen username. I can't directly type '@ G/B'. It won't tag anyone. But using the tag button, it comes up as '@ gb' (without the space). This can be typed manually, but you have to know their unique ID.

So something I'm pretty sure is going to happen , is merging Entertainment and The Nerdery - there was talk about it at the old site and it came up again here. I've been pushing for it , I think it makes the most sense but objections can be talked about here along with potential names for the new mashup.

I went simple with just calling it "Pop Culture" but let us know what y'all think.

Pop Culture's good. A universal place where we could talk TV, music, movies, books, comics, etc., without being exclusive to certain things.

That's my line of thinking , and it's a testament to nerd culture that it's pretty much at the forefront of pop culture right now. No need to be inclusive when you are on the front lines of so many variations of media. 

I'm personally against it for the same reason women's wrestling is separate. But if that's what ends up decided I'll manage, but I won't like it!

It takes a special and committed type of fan to enjoy womans wrestling these days , where as Nerd Culture has become universal. The two don't compare.

The polling on proboards is a lot different from PW. Apparently you can take your vote back...

Any way to enable a "New Posts" feature? On the old PW you could click that button at the top and it would generate a search for recent posts and you could open them one by one. It's much faster and easier than having to go to each individual forum, open it up, and look for threads with new posts.

I might be missing it, but is there a way to get the pages atvtge bottom?

The page counter at the top, scrolls down with you, as you go from one post to another.

I lurk on another board, so I'm used to the placement of the pages. I don't hate it.
