Philly looking like trash on offense. Their D is keeping them in the game. Knowing ATL, they'll find a way to lose this game in low scoring fashion, 10-9.

Not much to get excited about so far. A couple of nice post routes to Julio and a couple of very soft penalties on Truffant but other than that a very pedestrian first half.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Philly come out and run a no-huddle offence in the second half to try and get things going.

This game is agonizing to watch.

Hopefully the Philly Special 2.0 gets things going a little bit.

This was only really a bold prediction because Steve Sarkisian is clueless. Freeman only has 6 carries despite averaging 6ypc - but let's keep airing it out with Ryan who looks like he's aged about 5 years in the offseason.

Dan Quinn hasn't got anything to do with it, it's all on Sarkisian for not coming up with anything better to address their red zone issues, and Ryan for making poor throws.

Philly's play calling wasn't much better either, Foles' trick play aside. Why was Jay Ajayi held back as much as he was? I know he's been carrying a knock but he was a nuisance all night whenever he got the ball.

Atlanta's redzone offense is baffling , I mean you have a huge Wide Receiver who can jump out of the building and one of the best low to the ground runners/receiving backs in the NFL and a typically accurate quarterback and somehow it just takes all the potential away from this team. I'll never understand those predetermined back shoulder throws as a last call when you are that close to the goalline - give your star quarterback some options , try to get him on the edge but whatever.

I agree but Ryan is as much to blame. I think I counted 4 (may have been 5) times Ryan had goal to go and overthrew it as if he was on the 50. That's not so much vanilla play calling as inept quarterback play.

He also had Tevin Coleman wide open on the 5th play from the 5. They had Ridley go through the game with zero completions, Sanu only had 2. Their running game was poor and given up on. Just a shit team and I blame Quinn as much as Sarkisian. You're the Head Coach. Call the fucking shot. Matt Ryan looked Joe Flacco below average in that game. Majority of the completions were made by Julio turning his body or reaching for the ball. They need to wake up or they're in for another wasted season. They also lost defensive player Neal for the season in that game with an ACL injury. Devonte Freemans injury doesn't seem to be that big of an issue, but if it's the same lingering knee issue as last season then it will be a problem.

Ben always struggles to start the season. He's almost the Greg "The Hammer" Valentine of football. Always starts slow, but gets better the longer the season goes.

The most frustration so far for the Niners is missed tackles after missed tackles ugh can’t make tackles to save their lives.

Way over stating it, of the 3 INT's only one was bad, the second Brown let up, and the third was flat out James' fault. They're moving the ball decently if they ditch the errors, receivers are open, just needs to dial it in just a little. And if the Browns have had one thing recently, it's a decent defense. Plus Steelers are always a bit sluggish in the first game or two, I'm not worrying yet.
