Member?

Since I go on this forum 98% of the time on my phone, I don't see anyones AV's or banners anymore. Now I'm on a work cpu and decided to give myself a face. An AV. But that got me thinking about how important it was to me to have an AV/Banner combo that was sick. I felt like everyone needed to have one if they wanted to express who they were. I was The Miz, Eminem and Carlito in my days and I know when people saw me, they knew I was awesome, cool and a rap god.... 


.... now I'm old and a White Walker.


But anyways, how did you guys feel about your AV's, banners, other people having them? Any of your own personal favorites from yourselves or others? I had some awesome ones designed by people. We had a great fucking forum of people there.

When it comes to av's, I think my long term av's tend to stand out... my Trish Stratus school girl booty shake av, AJ Lee licking the drool away, and my current Alexa Bliss av. Banners are another story all together, I've gone through so many over the last fifteen years.

I used to go through avatars and signatures very quickly. Usually my favourite wrestler of the moment. Then a few years ago I decided I needed to find something basic, that wouldn't change with the times. The sprite of the character Sans from Undertale is perfect. I love the game, and the character. It's a basic avatar. It sort of has that dark metal image going for it, but at the same time it's not too serious. It also worked especially well at the time I made it because I was VG&T moderator on the old forums. I now use it as an avatar for most things.

I've always liked when people stick with one either for a long time or forever (shane_man)... but of course that one may be just due to inactivity. I've had sigs turned off on the old board for several years, so I always identified people by the avatar moreso than a username. Mine don't tend to last too long. I'll switch one up every few months. By time I do change them I've grown to hate them. :lol:

If we're being honest, I absolutely hate your AV right now, @ness, It's not you at all.

You know, since we have currency here, maybe we could pay someone to do banners here.

Think it was their way of volunteering. Anytime someone needs a new banner... all it takes is a pm.

I wish I saved all my old banners now PW is dead. +Sandra+ made me my first banner of Triple H ages ago.
(I think I posted as either Utopian or SledgeHHHammer at the time..I changed it all the time 😂)

Someone made me an amazing Sasha Grey banner also, their username was Nas.. (something longer) and they were incredibly douchey but I loved their work. Mostly stuck to Manson banners now, that’s even how others have realised it’s definitely me on other forums
when they see the username. I post on my phone now so I don’t really see banners a lot.

KJ’s squinty Superman one is the most iconic because I can’t remember him ever changing it 😂.

I go with cute or cool....mostly cute tho. Speaking of avs, I'm still rocking this Christmas one cause I'm too damn lazy and well Persona 5 is awesome.

Default RVD av over at old PW was dope. Tried to top it over the years and never could.

Probably bust out the Maple Leafs av again this year.

There's something magical about those generics. vendrell and the other guy always sporting the Tazz avatar and the occasional jabroni with the Bart Simpson... I kinda liked the simplicity.
