I figured instead of collecting this info either privately in my own spreadsheet or in the tailgate thread where it'll ultimately be buried, lost, and forgotten... I'd create a public, central reference resource for all of PW.

The idea is to build out a comprehensive list of each poster's fan loyalties. This way we (and/or new posters) can readily and immediately figured out who to start ball busting. Then we can also maybe track who amongst us are fairweather fans.

If this is a dumbass idea, feel free to lock it down quick. But, if there's some interest, please feel free to post "your" teams. For the spirit of generating discussion, when you post where your loyalties lie, feel free to share when/why/how you became a fan of the given team(s).

Oh, I see that's happening here. You all thought I didn't know who Lawrence Taylor was. Yes? If so, worry not; that's not the case. I was explaining where I thought thereallt's username came from... If I didn't have all avatars and banners turned off (and now post almost exclusively from my phone) my confusion might've been avoided. Not having that visual cue, for whatever reason, my made up reason in my mind was the grizzled ex vet thing as thereallt's actual personal backstory.

Anyway... Yes, I know who LT is/was. Any wrestling fan should. Any Redskins fan should. And growing up in the DC area, I was a de facto Skins fan before I moved to Pittsburgh and became an actual Steelers fan. So on all fronts, I'm aware of LT and his badassery.

Yes they are and they are a pretty popular team by all accounts. Amazon did an All or Nothing doc series following their season and it was eye opening to watch.

Futbol - hmmmm...not really sure. My daughter heard the name “Crystal Palace” when I was watching one day and her ears perked up. She couldn’t believe there was a team called that. I’ve followed them ever since. I also feel like an honorary Sunderland fan since I know so much about the team from Jake and WMS. I also like watching Real Madrid ever since they got Ronaldo and Bale.

The All Blacks are one of the best units in world sport, alas they represent a different code. Rugby League is the far more entertaining code that does away with scrappy mechanics like rucks, mauls, line-outs, contested scrums and just focuses' on the physicality and endurance of playing 80 minutes without pads or stoppages. It also has more in common with Gridiron since teams only have a limited amount of time with the football until they have to turn it over. It's fast, it's hard-hitting, it's skillful and incredibly unpredictable. They recently had a Test match over in Denver back in June of this year which drew a decent 19K audience. Every now and then you can spot NRL jerseys in the crowd and the most random thing I've seen is Val Venis wearing a Leeds Rhino (from the English Super League) in his 1999 Yearbook.
