If you haven't seen the news Pac (Neville) has returned to wrestling via Dragon Gate. Surprising as he could've picked anywhere, but he opted for his old stomping grounds. This is honestly the first time in FOREVER I've seen the company in the news, so at the very least it has given them some exposure. No idea if they have a streaming site like NJPW World.

Agreed, was the first time I’ve heard the company mentioned since 2007.
He can just be selective in his bookings elsewhere and not de-value himself.

The first and last Dragon Gate show I watched was Dead or Alive 2016. The main event was a 46 minute Six Man Steel Cage match where every participant had their mask or hair on the line. Each stable sat around ring-side and there were constant interferences, betrayals and shenanigans through out the match.
Suffice to say, it was one of my favourite matches of that year.
Otherwise I remember the rest of the card was filled with relatively fun and breezy 10 minute matches and one of their champions was a transsexual.

I think the end of the DGUSA/Evolve deal really hurt them to the average indy fans eyes. Either that or NJPW was just becoming the hotness, so it didn't really matter about their company. I think I asked on the old board about DG because I randomly thought about them and wasn't even sure if they were still around. I didn't recall hearing too many guys like Shingo, CIMA, etc. showing up in PWG or what have you, but they could've just been focusing on their own thing.
So I thought Neville showing up here was a big deal because it had been a day since DG and any of their guys were relevant. I've even long since forgotten Tozawa was a big star there since he's been in 205 Purgatory.
