So apparently, it has been announced that there will be a best-of-three series, between the TNA tag team champions and the Grizzled Young Vets. Honestly, I'm excited form this, as both teams should no doubt produce some solid bouts, over the coming weeks.

Match one in the best-of-three series, between ABC and Grizzled Young Vets, was pretty good. I'm looking forward to match number two (and most likely match three, possibly at No Surrender).

Did not see that one coming. And he is out, out. Wonder if Rosemary's cryptic tweets were about this.

Out of nowhere too. Felt like a lot of people liked him. HHH liked working with him, and Punk even seemed to like him. So weird.
Wonder who jumps over this. A lot of people it felt like were loyal not to TNA but to him. Particularly Rosemary.

Also wonder who gets him. He is a massive asset to AEW or WWE. Does not appear this is scandal related either, just Antham thinking they can run the fed better themselves.

Him getting fired so close to Ogawa makes me think maybe he was caught doing the same thing and that is to try and get TNA talent over to the WWE.
Gisele Shaw who is he dating is probably not long for the company I would assume.
EDIT: nevermind seems like it was a difference of opinions/creative I guess.

Yeah, really seems like it is simply because Antham execs think they can do a better job.
Huge loss for them, as not only will he leave, but his people will follow him most likely to whatever fed he lands at. I think he goes to WWE, along with the top Rosemary, Grace and others. Assume a lot of people gonna be reaching out to Tony as well.

That's pretty shocking.
Honestly, Scott played a big role, in turning TNA around for the better. If I were TK, I'd be trying to bring him in, and see what D'Amore can offer.

I hope Naomi can put in a good word and get Sonny Kiss to the WWE, she would be a huge ass-et to NXT.

I bet he is on the phone right now with HHH. Tony def could use him, but HHH almost certainly will want him for creative. Scott pretty much was the reason TNA survived this long. Hope as people leave, Tony picks up Bailey. /// For Kiss not sure she would be entirely welcome in WWE. They been actively avoiding trans wrestlers and likely will need to get rid of a lot more people in the back to bring her in and not have a PR disaster. They also will lose sponsors using her in the women's division. Will had people on the UFC actively opposing it too.

Most normal week in professional wrestling ever. Unbelievable that they made this decision like a month after announcing the return of TNA. And Blindy Sonny Kiss is never gonna happen. Especially when Gisele Shaw is right there. If WWE wants a token trans wrestler they'll sign her before Kiss.

Hopefully, this doesn't impact (pun intended), Gisele Shaw winning the Knockouts title, as I've been wanting to see her, with the gold for a while now.

If WWE wants a token trans wrestler they'll sign her before Kiss. They had Quincy Elliott in NXT and gave him all the chances in the world before they messed himself up. They had Tyler Reks/Gabbi Tuft backstage, I would not be shocked if they appeared in a women's rumble in the future. Never say never. Kiss was a Cody gal and is tight with Cargill/Naomi.

Story I been seeing repeated the most is Anthem wanted to lower the costs associated with TNA while Scott was trying to increase profitability by bringing in higher quality talented.
Anthem gonna go all modern American business model on TNA it appears and seek to really scale back operating costs, which means clearing out the roster that does not quit, and work with the smallest roster possible. I would expect the same deep cuts we seen from every other company in the states to happen soon. US businesses have determined it is time to layoff not expand.

I've seen several different rumors from Anthem not wanting to spend money to Scott wanting to buy TNA. Who know what the truth actually is? No Surrender and the New Orleans tapings should be interesting.

TNA is it's own worse enemy.
They have, regardless of whos running it, an ability to hinder it's own success every time it looks like something great is about to happen.

Building on that, a large number of TNA wrestlers have posted an hour glass emoji on X. It's being linked by D'Amore leaving, suggesting they're counting down the days left on their contracts.
Josh Alexander recently had his contract extended due to time off, it was reported he wanted to test the waters or renegotiate a new contract with TNA. They said, yeah.. nah.

Yup, after they demanded Josh ride out his contract most see the writing on the wall and want out ASAP.
Assume whoever gets Scott, also gets the top talent. Sure many are on the phone with Jarrett as well.

TNA picked up the option on the contract Josh agreed to when he signed it. They did the same to Deonna. Also sound like the roster is coming to terms with Scott leaving and things are settling down.

I don't know how many TNA guys should be " betting on themselves " and hoping for work else where. There's a reason they're in TNA and not working somewhere else.
The Guns are perhaps the biggest stars in TNA, and even then they'd only fall into the tag ranks in AEW.
But, I'd love to see the Motor City Machine Guns in AEW vs The Bucks or FTR, or pretty much anyone.

From the twitter stuff, the roster is not in fact coming to terms with this stuff.
