Impact is still high on my list. I'm looking forward to 2018

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Executive departures are not the only shakeups taking place in Impact Wrestling, as more top talent departures could be on the horizon as well. In recent months, we’ve seen names like Jeff Jarrett, James Storm, Reno Scum, Rockstar Spud, Taryn Terrell, The Hebners, Madison Rayne and more all depart Impact Wrestling. The Observer reports two more top names to keep an eye on are Ethan Carter III and Bobby Lashley, as their contracts might not be renewed once they expire, given the current financial landscape in Impact. James Storm was not offered a deal renewal from Impact as he had a high money guarantee.

Two talents who appear to be sticking with Impact Wrestling, however, are John Morrison and Taya Valkyrie, as they signed deals with the company that allow them to work for Lucha Underground in addition to Impact.

I knew Taya would be back.

I really will cry if EC3 leaves. He has become a star in Impact.

So Madison Rayne is back.

There was a report not that long ago, that Madison had a WWE tryout, a shame nothing came of it.

Yeah Maddie has been back awhile.

Yeah, I had no idea she was back.


I don't watch regularly, maybe an episode every couple of months or so.

Impact is taking a 3 week break. next airing on tv is in january.

and january to march they are scheduled for tapings again in Florida. Taya is set to return during these tapings too.

All caught up and the last two shows were kind of blah.

I'll be getting the Eric Young DVD. I hope they have bonus footage with promos and stuff.

How many fucking relaunches can one organization have in a matter of two years? Just crazy to think they keep ticking. I’ve always hoped TNA/Impact/GFW/Impact (again) would thrive because it’s better for the industry (IMO) to have viable alternatives. I’m not sure the team of D’Amore and Callis will be able to turn things around with such an in-flux, uninspired roster and a small budget, but I really hope they can.

Can TNA really be fixed? Regardless of the parent company or management team or creative minds or wrestling talent? It's got that stink it'll never shake, no matter how hard they try to rebrand it. Impact, Anthem, GFW, or whatever... It'll always still be TNA. And I think that carries a certain stigma with it.

God bless it for having a cockroach's tenacity, but I agree with KJ... It's not really doing anyone much good at this point, right? I feel like it would be better served by turning the lights out and coming back after some blackout period as a totally and affiliated thing.

I think the best move would be to just take the money that they're clearly ok with throwing away on TNA and pump it into nationalizing a popular Indy fed (PWG, Chikara, etc.).

Otherwise, it'll always be TNA... in every sense.

I think I've said enough about TNA over the last few years, I don't understand why they continue to throw money at it.

Just end it.

This company is being left behind the rest of the wrestling world. So far behind, that I've forgotten how much I dislike it. I don't even think about it anymore.

anyway, Rumors are swirling that Rey Mysterio is headed to Impact. They've talked as recently as a few days ago but haven't inked a deal...yet

According to Squared Circle Sirens, Su Yung, real name Vannarah Riggs and wife of WWE star Rich Swann, will be appearing at this week’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando.

Riggs and Rich Swann recently made headlines following a domestic incident which resulted in the indefinite WWE suspension of Swann.

Except it's really not - they should never have gone back to six the second time. Yes it makes them different, but it's much more punishing on the wrestler's bodies which isn't worth it in my mind.

It's something different, but not something I can't do with out. I've read that a lot of the wrestlers did not care for it.

I would suck to lose EC3, but I really like the Cage signing.  I see Cage as someone to build around.

I like Brian Cage, I don't watch Impact that often, but he's definitely a guy whose matches, I'll at least attempt too watch, depending on the opponent.

Former TNA World Heavyweight Championship Ethan Carter III has been granted an earlier release from his contract with Impact Wrestling, according to PWInsider.com.

EC3 will remain on television through March as he worked all four of this week’s television tapings so far.

In reality, EC3’s contract was set to expire later this summer, but he was granted an earlier release and worked his final date with the company on Saturday night. He will not appear on the next upcoming pay-per-view, Impact Redemption, which is set to air on April 22

My heart has broken. I've watched him since his debut in Impact. He's grown so much as a performer...

If he returns at the Royal Rumble, I can' wait to hear Impact's re-dubbed commentary.

Recent Tapings saw the x-division title change hands. Now we have 1 man holding the X division and grand champion titles. It's all good.....until he reveals Josh Matthews as his advisor. Matthews is back on-screen guys. Ugh!
