Anyone checking out Fox's new Star Trek meets Seth McFarlane series?

i think it's actually pretty enjoyable.  It's dealt with some interesting topics and even had Charlize Theron make a guest appearance.  Not sure if it's got staying power though.

Watched every episode so far.   WAAAAYYYYYYYY better than the shit stain that is Star Trek Discovery.   Given half a chance I think it's got a shot to stick around


My biggest worry though is that it's on Fox and Fox is notorious for canceling good shows.    

I rather enjoy it, which is why I don't figure it lasting on Fox. I was just expecting McFarlane's usual shtick IIIIN SPAAAAACE, but it's actually turned out to be an entirely genuine take on the material, with just a little McFarlane sprinkled in. Each week has given a great stand-alone tale, often with plenty of heart, the girl baby episode was especially heavy. Not sure how long they can do one-and-done's before the concepts wear thin, they'll also need some long form story telling in there, but I'm sold.

Will wait to see if it gets picked up for a full season, and possibly renewed before I commit time to watching something that may end up being cancelled.

if...or should i say when...it gets cancelled, please someone pick it up...Netflix...Hulu...TBS...anyone!!!

i'm not going to try to spell her name, but their female LT who is like super strong...and she rolled that cube into a ball during the trial episode. i LOVE her.
