The boxing Heavyweight division had been a bit dull for the last few years but things are getting exciting again with the likes of Wilder, Fury, Joshua to name a few providing quality again for the Heavyweight division for the first time since Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Evander Hollyfield were around a long time ago.
Wilder has a damn good record having 40 fights winning 40 and having 39 knock outs but hasn't really faced anyone with any quality other than Tito Ortiz who put Wilder down before Wilder eventually won the match, Tyson Fury has been a controversial character but beat Vladimir Klitscko who dominated the Heavyweight division for a decade in his own back yard to shock the world.
The Two are undefeated and both charismatic guys which has made the build up to the fight quite entertaining, Fury is a excellent speaker who can make people buy tickets or subscribe to buy it on ppv & Wilder is the same, I'm hoping that the wait has been worth it as I love boxing and haven't been as excited to see a fight like this since Tyson V's Hollyfield which was over a decade ago.
Anyway who do you guys think will win? Will Deontay add to his excellent record and make people recognise he's a big time player in the boxing world or will Fury back his words up and become a Champion once again?
I'm so split on who I think the winner will be, my head says Fury and my heart says Wilder but I just hope the match is a good one and not be like a few in the past where they have been a disappointment. Also after this I hope either a rematch happens between the two this time it taking place in the UK, Apparently it's a stipulation in the contract that a rematch clause is available & then whoever is the victor takes on Anthony Joshua to determine the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the world.. Screw any political matters and just make the fight happen.. The money they get paid is fuckin unbelievable yet the boxers still get greedy but the world needs to see who is the best of the best out of Joshua, Fury and Wilder
Vote for your pick and feel free to discuss your opinions on the fight.

I'm not really a fan of Fury and the way he conducts himself, but he won the fight. The first four rounds going to Wilder on the one scorecard was comical, he barely landed a punch.

Joshua/Fury has the potential of being the biggest boxing match in British history. Even bigger than Lennox Lewis vs. Oliver McCall 25 years earlier.

There is outrage in the UK about the decision with some comparing it to Lewis and Holyfield. I disagreed with it but I didn't find it outrageous. Ultimately Fury didn't win because he suffered two knockdowns.
The heavyweight division is brilliant. 3 guys, all completely different, all undefeated (although Wilder questionably so) and all flawed in some way or other.

To be honest I think a draw was the right result, you have to give credit to Fury for the way he has come back & despite how he's conducted himself & comments he may have made in the past everyone deserves a second chance & I could tell throughout the build up to the fight that he was focused & hungry to prove people wrong & he was excellent in this fight & he dominated the match although Wilder was more clinical particularly with the way he put Fury down on the 2 occasions.
I think both have gained respect from many doubters from this & I really hope we do get a rematch & that the 2nd match takes place in the UK. After both guys performance in my opinion they are both better than Anthony Joshua but time will tell

I think Tyson won the fight, but it wasn't a huge robbery, he did get put on his ass twice, and the last time the ref was awfully slow with the count. He may well have been down for the full 10 secs.
Without those 2 knockdowns though the fight wouldn't have even been close, Tyson out-boxed him all night, keeping him at the end of his jab, and frustrating Wilder with his head movement. Wilder also failed to throw to the body like he should have, Tyson doesn't protect his body well at all. Instead Wilder just head-hunted all night, Tyson is too slick for that.
