I thought their first half effort was a shitshow but Dallas outdid themselves there, a bad snap followed by a sack and cost themselves a chance to kick for the win. We're going to OT!

Well that Amari Cooper trade is looking pretty damn good. I never saw why it was considered bad. The Cowboys were going to draft receiver anyway and this year's receiver class is pretty lackluster. Amari is only 24 and was easily better than amy receiver available in this years draft, so Dallas using their first round pick to get him was well worth it.

This is a good game so far, with the defences on top and both QBs really struggling. Goff has started 3/7 for 13 yards and a pick, and Trubisky has been way off with his accuracy.

I can't remember seeing a game with this poor level quarterback play. Goff and Trubisky have combined for 20/42, 129 yards and 4 picks in the first half.

FAT GUY TOUCHDOWN
Matt Nagy is awesome, some of his calls tonight have been super fun. They had six o-linemen and four d-linemen on the field for that play!

What a performance by the Bears defence, holding the Rams to 6 points when their previous low was 23 - and doing the Saints a huge solid in the process. Since the game that ended defence we've seen Dallas beat the Saints and now this.
The Rams o-line has been so good all season but they really struggled tonight, couldn't open up any holes for Gurley and let unblocked rushers through on Goff numerous times.

The Saints are gonna takeover the #1 seed in the NFC with the Rams loss.
L.A. better hope they win out, and the Saints lose one. They lost to the Saints in the dome last time. And I'm pretty sure that L.A. would rather spend the next six weeks on the west coast, than a possible cross-country for the conference title game.

What a day.
I was in Atlantic City yesterday and went through the ups and downs of fantasy football playoffs. My opponent got that miracle TD any Drake at the end of that game followed by his plug and play Hamilton putting him in position to win. In front of a bunch of Philadelphia fans, I watched Amari Cooper save my season by going absolutely apeshit in the 4th quarter. I cheered like a mad man for his 4th quarter performances and even had an elderly black man tell me to “take my Dallas shit somewhere else.” Lmao. Couple that in with a $1400 profit from Blackjack last night (should’ve been $1700, but I went on a losing streak towards the end) and I had a great night.
But man, that’s where you want to watch football. Atlantic City. Motherfuckers gambling in games (I really wanted to drop $100 on Chicago, but the wife was like “we’re not staying here all night”) so the chain got me. Every game on the television screens and holy shit they were awesome. Mahomes won the MVP last night. That debate is over. Gronk is an awful defensive player. The Giants could be tied for the NFC crown if they didn’t blow their lead against Philly and if Gano didn’t make a ridiculous GW FG. Speaking of Gano, injured or not, that Panthers team has completely fallen apart. There’s literally one person to blame and that’s Cam Newton. Holy shit that man refuses to give the ball to CMC inside the 5 yard line in the final minutes of the game. He’s a ball hog and is costing his team massive wins. If not for the previously mentioned Gano, this team would have another L to their column. Chris Boswell is probably the worst kicker in the league that still has a job and it’s ridiculous. Blame that field all you want, but he’s been ATROCIOUS this season.
Anyways, MNF. As long as Tyler Lockett doesn’t get 21.2 points tonight, I will walk out victorious and into the Final 4 in all of my money leagues which is epic. I think the Vikings take care of business tonight and win 23-17.

Going back to the Miami Miracle. I think the Pats were expecting a Hail Mary, and that's why they put Gronk on the field. So I wouldn't really place all the blame on Gronk for that.

Poor coaching honestly. Tannehill was never going to be able to launch a 70 yard pass. If Devin McCourty is in Gronk's position he stops Drake getting in the end zone.

To be fair, Bill Belicheck took responsibility for that L and rightfully so. There was poor tackling attempts before it got to Drake anyways.
This game has been a defensive battle so far and I’m definitely happy with that. Cousins does not look like that guaranteed money man in these big games so far. I think it’s mental for him and I don’t think he’s handling it well right now. He’s much better as a “I’ll prove you wrong” kind of guy to a “I’ll prove you right” kind of guy.

I don't think I've ever seen a QB throw a overhand pass directly backwards to a RB like Cousins just did. This Vikings offence is completely shot, they can't block to save themselves and every second playcall is a screen.

Let's just say that last play won't be making it into Wilson's career highlight reel.

Xavier Rhodes just gift wrapped some points for the Seahawks. Way overthrown, and out of bounds, and still decides to commit interference.

No doubt. At least Steelers/Dolphins back in the day had more effort. It was just played in beyond terrible conditions.

How have the refs missed that illegal leverage by Wagner? Minnesota suck ass so they don't really have grounds to complain but that's another shitty call to go against them.

NFC should really hand their #6 seed over to the AFC. Pretty ridiculous that Minnesota will still be sitting in a playoff spot after this effort, and they only have the ordinary AF Eagles and collapsing Panthers behind them.

If the way Tomlin's phrasing is to be believed, it seems HE might have been the reason Ben didn't return to the game until they lost the lead. Like, how do you leave a future hall of famer on the bench in a 3 point game when you're tied for division and 2 top tier competition games around the corner? Ben would have eaten that D alive with the way the WR's were getting free, as he did on his ONE drive. That is a decision that loses all my faith in him as a coach, I've been a supporter, but that's inexcusably bad. That could be division costing bad.

Meanwhile the Chargers are 10-3 and having one of their best seasons to date and they’re in 5th and won’t play at home in their wild card game. Somehow the more competitive the league gets, the stupider the playoffs get. The NHL is the same way now. Right now 3 of the best teams of the league are all in the same division and if the playoffs started tomorrow two of them would be playing each other instead of a worse team.
