After a hiatus, I've decided to restart these VGM threads. The VGMs were always a great way of keeping track of what was coming out, all the hype surrounding the games and the reaction when they inevitably came out.
In 2019, the hobby is going to start off with a bang. Capcom have remade Resident Evil 2 and Racoon City has never looked more terrifying. The third person perspective harkens back to Resident Evil 4 and if the game measures up to that standard, we're in store for a bonafide classic.
Meanwhile after 13 long years, Kingdom Hearts finally makes it's return to home consoles with the third installment. The KH series has notoriously been a difficult series for newcomcers to get into, thanks largely due to it's various handheld spin-off games that have mainline ramifications. While it's technically KH3, it'd be more wise to call it KH6 given how pivotal Chains of Memories, Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance are for the series.
So what does everyone plan on picking up? As a KH fan, III is going to be difficult to ignore, while the draw of playing it on the go has me incredibly interested in playing ToV on the Switch.

Glad to see you bring this back Big Pete. Anyways, I'll most likely be picking up the following games...
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey (3DS) New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (Switch) Kingdom Hearts III (PS4)

Wait... is KH3 really coming out this month? Guess until it's in my hands/PS4 download queue nobody can say for sure.

Kingdom Hearts 3 day one for me. Think RE2 will be a purchase down the road. Same with No More Heroes and Omnimusha Warlords, never got the chance to play the latter on the PS2.

RE2 remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 (once I beat the others) for me. No interest in the others.

Going to pick up No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again as the only chance of a true third game will be if this one takes off
NMH was an ambitious game ruined by censorship (in PAL) and mandatory mini games, 2nd was fantastic.
