If Page is being intentionally left off AEW is idiotic. Few stories benefit from intentionally leaving talent off of your biggest shows.

It's very possible he's still at the show just not in a match. Guess we just have to wait and see how it plays out.

Wish more feds would adopt lucha tag rules. If AEW had lucha tag rules, a fast and furious tag match with him to open the show could be done in 10 minutes and get him hitting his trademarks. Even if they limited lucha tag rules to 6 man or greater matches, they speed up tag matches so much that you can get everyone in the match very fast with no downtime, without no selling the moves.

This is like cancelling Austin v Michaels because Sting and Roddy Piper might show up at Wrestlemania.

First: from what I've heard, Page's partner is apparently going to have their child sometime around All Out. Between that and the impending debuts of Bryan and Punk, it's reasonable that they could have looked at those two things and decided the smart thing to do was keep Adam off the card.

Second: speaking of Adams, apparently Adam Cole's contract is about to expire. Gee, I wonder if there's a wrestling company that employs someone close to him and is run by a lot of his friends where he already shows up at a lot of their work parties.

Also we don't know whether or not this was always the plan. Maybe they're dragging this story out because it's money and they want Omega to be champ longer. Maybe Adam Page, who was already the #1 contender, got talked into a fight he had no business being in, gambled his shot, and lost. Maybe Omega outsmarted him and Page actually isn't ready like he originally thought. Maybe a million things.

Anyway, Page beating Omega is a foregone conclusion and I'm fine that they threw another swerve in there AND we're probably getting some awesome debuts in the coming weeks.

Ah, if Page is taking time for a kid that is a different story and make a lot more sense and explains a lot.

Social media in wrestling embarrassing themselves trying to make a fuss over The Acclaimed(Who are great btw, LGBTQ+ represented and New York repping.) and saying Max Caster should be fired over this below.

They are mad Simone Biles mental health is mocked at(Charlotte did something similar yesterday but the opt out for her is she doesn't make the lines) and for 18 year old Julia Hart to be vulgarly dissed the way she was. Would be terrible if Tony Khan lets these two guys go or tells Max Caster to ease up on the rapping because he spits absolute fire every single time. Really he's great.

Damn shame this got edited out for AEW Dark today in the upload. Sucks.

The problem is taking that away from him takes his personality away and the overall appeal of the duo. It's amazing MJF can give a middle finger to a 6 year old kid and make fun of whoever he wants(You see some of the disses he has said on social media, made fun of someone's gaps in their teeth for mocking MJF) because he is staying in character but Max Caster isn't given the same luxury. 

Fun fact: I also think MJF sucks. He has basically one promo and he's a real-life asshole.

It's a fine line with this stuff, but this clearly crossed it, and I say that as someone who really likes The Acclaimed (they are the only male act on Dark that I bother to check out). I think people are overreaching by complaining about the sexual references towards Julia (she's 19, she's not a child) and I don't even mind the Simone Biles line even though I made my thoughts about that clear in the Olympics thread. But the Duke Lacrosse reference wasn't cool (and isn't even news at the moment) and the Covid denier stuff were where someone should have said yeah we're not putting that to air.

He was mentioning The Duke Lacrosse as a means of being a hoax I think since it was a fabricated incident that nearly destroyed a couple of college kids lives.

I agree though, I think with what happened to Guevara saying he wanted to rape Sasha Banks so bad that Caster probably should not have gone there but Khan gives these guys full reign to do whatever. I mean Joey Janela was with Drake Younger at a convention even if he was mocking them all in hindsight. 

I would not have said any of that and Biles came back to win a medal after everything which makes her a GOAT all things considered. The outlash to want this guy out like he's the Velveteen Dream sucks though. Sucks because Tony Khan puts a lot of emphasis on social media and wants the fans voices to be heard. Would hate to lose these guys.

I just think it's a storm in a teacup. Fans have a right to be upset and Caster went too far but it was bound to happen with his gimmick. The opposite is that you get D-Generation X 2006-tier insults. There's always a line with these things and you really don't know when you've crossed it until you have.

I don't think this would have made it onto a Dynamite, that's what shows like Dark are for so these guys iron out their kinks. Caster missed the mark, but he's not going to get fired over the incident or receive councelling.

I don't think this is even in the same ball-park as Guevara.

The Duke lacrosse line sucks because that entire story was fabricated and those guys had their lives ruined. The judge that oversaw the case got fired even. Whole thing was a shit show and shouldn't be joked about.

He also called PCR tests fake at a time when numbers are spiking again and AEW has insanely huge live shows coming up.

If you go on YouTube and watch the Dark replay their entrance is cut. So Max definitely pissed off someone.

This accusation happened a year ago. This is just the first time she named him, but everyone already assumed it was him.

Back when it first happened Allin apparently handed over DMs to Tony Khan that absolved him. Not sure if anything will come of this or if this chick is just bringing it up again to get a settlement or something.

Not defending Allin, btw. Fuck him. I've never liked him and I didn't find the accusations surprising the first time.

Sounds like a shitty relationship, and Darby being a little asshole more than anything. It's not fair to lump every bad situation with a stigmatised hashtag regardless of how we feel about the guy.

Yeah, he's divorced from Priscilla Kelly, but it’s not like he left a trail of destruction either. She describes him as her best friend and the reason for the split being too fast, too young.

So potentially seeing Darby find success may be the biggest driver in (re)naming him.

Wrestling is bored of #SpeakingOut, so this will go nowhere. And really, outside of a few select people, mainly Rory Gulak, Jimmy Havoc, Joey Ryan and Marty, no one really got punished at all anyway. And frankly, Rory is lucky all he got was cancelled.  I know some people are violently against him ever appearing at shows ever again and it will not be a polite talk asking him to leave if he shows up even as a fan.

I think @admin mentioned some unlikable about him in the past, makes sense since HR has always detested him. He deserves the blame but not a fan of the accuser bringing a PRIVATE message from Priscilla Kelly/Gigi Doolin, his now ex wife. She stood up for her then husband, gave him the benefit of the doubt and while the wording isn't the greatest, she got out of his grasp and has moved onto a different company and is trying to make the most of her career and life, she didn't deserve that IMHO. She looks dumb but I don't see anything malicious from her, she tried to give her man and best friend benefit of the doubt and that was it. She even brought up being a survivor of sexual abuse as a kid.

I give people, especially the women of wrestling in their early 20's a minor pass on some of their crimes. Tess Blanchard, Bea Priestley/Davenport, Xia Brookeside, Aliyah, Gigi Doolin. Nobody's perfect, seems lame to bring her into this. They are young, immature and dumb but as long as they learn from their mistake and try to use the platform to be better that's all you can ask for. I think the Hana Kimura tragedy sorta makes me empathic to women of her age in this industry. Not to fully excuse the crimes but to just lump on em and start throwing them into the fire over transgressions of their spouse is petty. 

Darby I don't though if this is true and if Jimmy Havoc is finished for what he did, AEW has to be fair here regardless of who has more star power.
