Love Excalibur but his voice does not really stand out the same way Renee will.  She has a very good broadcast voice that can REALLY brand AEW.  I would have her on all of the shows.

Poor Excalibur he isn't the eye candy we all need.

I'd rather they bring Veda Scott back to do commentary, they're awesome. Do I want Renee involved in the company in some capacity? Absolutely. But her announcing was always VERY weak.

Yeah I thought everyone hated her on Raw? Her NXT run was this weird awkward flirting with Regal that just kinda made the show uncomfortable to sit through if I'm being honest.

That's why I think she should go on Dark if they hire her. She's good enough to banter with Taz and everyone just tunes in to hear him anyway.

Her strength was always backstage interviews but AEW already has people for that. Not sure if she would join that team or not.

While we're talking about announce teams - Elevation this week was just Tony & Eddie. Let's hope they stick with that going forward because Big Show kinda sucked.

I have to give it to AEW for obviously putting together these videos. The acting is horrible, but the visual and notion these monsters are being freed is great work. 

For those not following Buddy on the socials, he looks like an absolute beast. And we know how good he is. This dude will be a major player.

I believe that JR & Tony love working together. I think Tony and Excalibur like having JR around as a useful voice & JR likes having them around for added enthusiasm. I gotta say, Tony sounds so rejuvenated. I find it amazing WCW didn't kill his spirit. It's as if he has this repressed energy saved that he would have used if he stayed in the WWF like he wanted to but his wife was homesick.

It’s a great three man booth. Excalibur has improved leaps and bounds and sounds more polished. JR tells the stories, and Tony’s enthusiasm is great and he bounces off JR beautifully. I’ve really started to like them.

Mondo always excelled at short visual sequences, both in his matches and now in his video work.  Great to have someone like him shooting these.  

No clue where Buddy is going with all this, but sure as fuck am interested.  And damn, Black, Murphy and Bray could be a nasty fucking combo.

Excalibur has to be happy as a pig in shit working with JR and Tony.  I mean both are legends of commentators and the voices of a generation.  After being competitors for a decade, assume Tony likes having JR around as well.  Everyone knows JR's best days are behind him, but he is JR.  He is iconic.  

Lost a lot of respect for QT Marshall to lie to a celebrity to make sure they get their spot accordingly.

Speaking of losing respect, seems like Max Caster and Anthony Bowens/The Acclaimed appearance on AEW Dark was scrapped yesterday and Tony Khan has given into the social media cries of wanting punishment for what Caster said last week on one of his raps. His and his partner's status is supposedly "On Ice" and could go either way according to Fightful. Not sure if that means they will both be gone or if they are being held off until heat dies down with them but seems shitty either way. Bowens did nothing wrong and Caster is pretty good altogether, and Tony Khan allows so much shit to be said. Caster took shots at Andrew Cuomo weeks ago with sexual conduct among a shit ton of other stuff but this is what may seal the deal.

That QT Marshall thing is a disgrace. The carniest shit I’ve heard in a good while. And a very good way to ensure you don’t get a celebrity with the prominence of Shaq ever again.

The dumbest thing is admitting to this in the open because Shaq could threaten a lawsuit if he truly wanted to for endangerment. And add the fact that Shaq is one of Turner sports highest paid and big stars they have with Inside the NBA and NCAAB tourney appearances, Shaq has pull to further the hot & cold relationship AEW has with TNT/Turner Sports if he really wanted to.
