Looking forward to this, after a fairly ho-him 2018 and the delay of Metroid Prime 4, Nintendo have found themselves in a vulnerable position. I hope we learn more about Bayonetta 3, Animal Crossing, Pokemon and the N64 Classic. I think they could also win some browny points if they announce some SNES games for the Switch Online Service.

Wish it was Zelda 2 as I'm not a huge fan of replaying games I've already beaten, but damn if it's not one of the best in the whole lineup.

Those were all great announcements, but the one that got me most excited was Platnium's latest release Astral Chain. I've got a lot of time for Platnium and judging from the brief trailer this appears to be another quality Action RPG.

Super Mario Maker 2 is a definite buy for me. I might pick up Link's Awakening as well.
As for Marvel Ultimate Alliance: The Black Order (I know it was announced last year), I loved the first one (recently played through it again on the PS4), so hopefully it'll be as good as that, if not better.
Just announce Waluigi for Smash Bros. already, outside of Piranha Plant (because it was free), I really have no interest in any other potential DLC character... seriously no Waluigi makes me sad.
Why don't cha take all my money already Nintendo.

Just seems they always make one per generation with the exception of Majora’s Mask.

The rumour going around is that Nintendo are using the BotW engine and style for the next Zelda game. So not exactly a direct sequel, but a similar release like Majora's Mask which started off development as a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time.
So I'm not super hyped for Link's Awakening. The original 93 release was fantastic, taking all the advancements from ALttP and adding an extra layer of charm which made up for the hardware limitations of the GameBoy. It was such a good game back then, it still holds up today and is perfectly playable off of the Nintendo 3DS Store. Outside of eliminating the grid-based level design of the original, I didn't see anything from the trailers to suggest the remake isn't just a 1:1 remake of a 26 year old game. I'm sure they'll add some mini-game or collectable but I see it merely as a superficial change.
See the thing about remakes is that unless you change the core game design, they're hardly necessary. Resident Evil 2 is a good remake because it took the scenario and the setting of two to make a modern Resident Evil game. Unless you're going to go down the All-Stars route or the Crash Bandicoot & Spyro route where you get a nice bundle of games and you throw in Zelda I all the way through to A Link to the Past there, I just see it as a really lazy release from Nintendo.
You know what Zelda remake would actually get me excited? Ocarina of Time in an RE2 style remake. Modern graphics, a massive Hyrule, a butt load of side-quests, more interesting NPCs, more dungeons, more towns etc. But done in that adventure/puzzle style as opposed to an open-world style like BotW. If they did that on modern systems it would be automatically the best game of all-time.

Also by Zelda 2 I was more meaning an hd remake of the one from NES. It and BOTW are the only ones I haven't played, so I'd be all over a remaster.
Although BOTW is sitting in my drawer from when Gamefly sent it...
