You make my life so hard.
I’ll leave it up to everyone. I have a few that might fall out of those parameters though. I don’t think plausible is as fun.

But yes preferably not seen. I mean in a big setting - I don’t care if Mean Mark Callous wrestled Sting in WCW.

I sent my list in.
It was rushed, but I didn’t want to miss out on it.

I'm waiting until the last minute to get mine in as I have a lot more research to do than I initially thought. Need to check out some and revisit some matches to get a better grasp on where to rank them.
Thankfully it's storming all day and I can win some brownie points by sorting laundry whilst watching Hulkamania run wild.

Laundry and Hulk are probably a bad combo. Gonna be ripping shirts soon.
Gotta take a stand it don't help to hide~
Really one of the goat themes out there.

I watched the Backlund match again earlier this week and felt it kind of dragged. I can see that. It is slow paced but maybe it was helped by me watching it surrounded by all that aggressive face Hogan stuff (Japanese matches and MSG brawls) so it really stood out. I did not expect a 30-minute heel Hogan performance from 1980 to keep my attention and it really did. Backlund always one upping the heel in virtually every exchange is his standard and Hogan was bumping and stooging well for him. But Backlund also managed to put over Hogan as a big-time threat and the finish fit into Backlund's character to give Hogan the cheap win and set up a rematch.

LAST CALL FOR TOP TEN HULK HOGAN MATCHES!!
FIRST CALL FOR ....... TOP TEN DREAM MATCHES!
** Guidelines for the dream matches are fairly simple , try and vote for matchups that never happened when the people matters. I don't care if Stunning Steve Austin wrestled Hulk Hogan in a three second squash in WCW back in the day - that's not the same and Austin vs Hogan dream match we all envision. As per normal just try and use some common sense and have fun! I have a solid list to widdle down already.

I'd never fully thought about how big Giant Baba vs. Antonio Inoki would've been in the late 70s/early 80s until now.
The two big proteges of the Father of Puroresu, Rikidozan. They trained together in the JWA dojo and made their debuts on the same show in September '60. They did wrestle each other 16 times between 1961-63 before Rikidozan died in December '63. Baba became the top guy in JWA in '66 while Inoki was trying his hand elsewhere and in '67, Inoki returned to be Baba's #2 and they were a top team from May '67 until December '71.
Inoki left JWA and founded NJPW, holding the first show in March '72. Baba also left 6 months later and founded AJPW that October. They become the two biggest promotions in Japan. Baba's AJPW was a NWA-affiliate and he got himself 3 short NWA World Heavyweight Title reigns in '74, '79 and '80. Inoki did worked proto-MMA matches to prove that pro wrestling was the strongest fighting style and had the legitimate shoot with Muhammad Ali in '76, making him a global name. He won the WWF Title from Backlund in '79, but it was an unrecognised reign. These two men were cultural icons with a long, parallel history. The story is right there.
They did actually team one last time, in August '79, on a Tokyo Sports All-Star Dream Card against Tiger Jeet Singh and Abdullah the Butcher. But they never worked with each other again, even during the interpromotional/invasion era of the mid-80s.

Boo! I am disturbed by PW's lack of Cage Match love. I expected that option to win in a landslide and was really looking forward to it.
I might need a little help on dream matches. Most of them were disappointing imo. So far I only have 3, and one of them stretches the definition of Dream Match.

They can be from different eras.
If you want to see Andre vs Big Show , by all means , vote for it.

D'oh. I thought this was dream matches that actually happened like Michaels/Angle, Hogan/Warrior, and....Undertaker/Kane.
This way is much easier. Bradshaw vs. Scott Norton here we come!
Just kidding.....
Or am I? :suspic:

All mine are likely coming from the same era, just because the potential plausibility is needed for my mind to grasp the possibility. Although now that you mention it, I am loving the idea of a time-traveling Lesnar pulling a Terminator on George Heckenschmidt.

Well, I have 85 dream matches and counting to cut down, wish me luck! A couple do border on something right out of fan fiction and are in the two most famous multi-man match formats.

I gotta give a shout out to Strobe and his recent WM7 rebook for not only putting the Taker/Andre dream match in my head but also presenting a case for how it could've been potentially somewhat plausible. The in-ring action would've been terrible, way worse than Hogan/Andre... but that staredown standoff would've been a total goosebumps moment.

Word of advice I meant to give and 🤯 reminded me of with his list. You’re more than welcome to do multiman matches , or whatever with huge 10 man tags but keep in mind that if no one else has that exact take it’s more than likely going to not get duplicate votes and this could be a wasted vote. I’ll accept a brief DX vs nWo entry with elaboration in the countdown list.

Survivor Series War Games: DX (Shawn Michaels, Triple H, X-Pac, Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) (w/ Chyna & Rick Rude) vs. nWo (Hollywood Hogan, Randy Savage, The Giant, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall) (w/ Ted DiBiase & Elizabeth)

I would go nWo vs. the best of the Attitude era myself but to each their own. nWo vs DX has a better chance of getting multiple votes though. I like maximum star power and DX has always seemed so much lower in star power than the nWo. It's like the discrepancy between the popular LOD and Dudleys pairing, LOD needs to face the top heels or babyfaces in the company not just the tag division. Just a little rant to get off my chest.

I was in the mood to watch some Summer Slam matches due to the sun being out and so I went back to check our Summer Slam matches countdown for fun. Here's the top 31:
1. Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk - 2013 2. John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan - 2013 3. Edge & Christian vs. The Hardy Boyz & The Dudley Boyz - TLC - 2000 4. Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle - 2001 5. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H - 2002 6. Bret Hart vs. The British Bulldog - 1992 7. Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart - 1994 8. Mr. Perfect vs. Bret Hart - 1991 9. Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon - 1995 10. The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar - 2002 11. Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk - 2009 12. Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio - 2002 13. CM Punk vs. John Cena - 2011 14. The Undertaker vs. Bret Hart - 1997 15. The Rock vs. Triple H - Ladder - 1998 16. Edge vs. The Undertaker - HIAC - 2008 17. Batista vs. John Cena - 2008 18. Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar - 2003 19. Jeff Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam - Ladder - 2001 20. Team WWE vs. The Nexus - 2010 21. Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H - 2012 22. The Rock vs. Kurt Angle vs. Triple H - 2000 23. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho - 2/3 Falls - 2000 24. Hulk Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels - 2005 25. Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio - FOR THE CUSTODY OF DOMINICK - 2005 26. Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton - 2004 27. Bret Hart vs. Doink The Clown and Bret Hart vs. Jerry Lawler - 1993 28. Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker - 1998 29. John Cena vs. Randy Orton - 2007 30. Rick Rude vs. The Ultimate Warrior - 1989 31. The Brainbusters vs. The Hart Foundation - 1989
The biggest surprise for me is how high Brock/Triple H was. The bottom ranked match was a four-way tie at #75 between The Big Bossman vs. The Mountie; Christian vs. William Regal; Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler and Jeff Jarrett vs. X-Pac.

Top 10 Survivor Series matches, not necessarily the elimination matches. I’ve always loved that PPV.
Top 10 Best King of the Ring winners?

Best KOTR & Survivor Series stuff both sound good to me. As for the next one....
1. Great American Bash Matches 2. ECW Wrestlers (#2 just because we've done this one already) 3. ECW Pay Per Views (Most of them blend together in that middling "just there" kind of way) 4. Worst Factions (I just don't get excited about "worst" countdowns)
