So this website went live a few days back.  Called the Crucible.  Those are all old Chikara show names and those are Chikara Wrestling Factory students.  Guy in a robe watching from the shadows.  Rumors now is it is a guy from the past of Chikara who fought wars with the BDK, Kings of Wrestling or The Flood and now thinks Chikara is too soft.

HMMM, could it be Eddie Kingston?

I genuinely miss Chikara. Hasn't felt the same since the fake closing. Hope whatever this is, it works for them.

So, I went to the 101 forum and from what I tell this ties into season 3 and Hydra.

Season 17 was when I dropped off.  I loved the rise of the Nightmare Warriors but the next two seasons really lacked the big larger than life angles that made CHIKARA lovable.  Season 17 was mostly forgettable outside of the Mantis's title run.  Seasons 18 and 19 did not even feel like CHIKARA at all anymore.

Season 20 seems to be going back to what made CHIKARA great.  Having Princess Kimberlee and others back is really allowing them to get back into a groove.  Hoping this fight club starts a new arc of a super threat.  That was what made CHIKARA great, larger than life storylines with a group of people fighting against various evil supergroups.  

Ed, I was the one on 101 who posted it looks like Hydra.  The mask is not exact, but it is damn close.  The show names go back years, which also places them during the time Hydra was active.  Lance Steel is the other person people think it is, but he does not make a lot of sense.

The more I think about it, the more I think that Ophidan in the robe.  IIRC he is not only a trainer for CHIKARA, he also holds the Eye.  He could be reforming the Neo Solar Temple using a trial by fire at the school to find those worthy.

I was reading about this on Reddit and saw the acronym “ARG.” Can someone tell me what that is?

I was under the impression Ophindan shattered the Eye of Tyr in season 17.

Ophindan used it to free mantis from Hallowicked control. Delirious destroyed it once though and it was put back together.
