PI drafted a bunch of my least favourite women from over the years so he was always going to be in an uphill battle to win me over. Jazz and Shayna would be a fun battle but perhaps it might have been a better strategy to put them against some natural babyfaces.

PB's top three matches are all fantastic. Asuka and Io would be amazing, they've got the kayfabe history and apparently there's some real life friction there so that spices up what would obviously be a great pure wrestling match. Kairi vs Kong would be the match I'd most like to see from both these cards, and Gail and Rhea feel like they'd have decent chemistry. Not quite sure how Taryn would hold up wrestling an AJW alumni, but his card has more than enough to secure my vote.

PI's card made me laugh. He's also got some ECW flavor with vets Luna and Jazz. Jazz vs Shana is my favorite matchup out of these two cards, really interesting. I'm only familiar with a few names on PB's card but I think overall it would be the better wrestling show, I would have to take my money there.

Ah man, that's a shame to hear they're some of your least favorites.

I think with almost zero exception, for one reason or another or a combination thereof, I was a super mark for every lady I drafted. I was personally very happy to end up with the roster I did.

Will definitely be curious to see who PB snags from my pool of deplorables.

PB's card is probably better from an objective standpoint but I had to vote for 🤯 for familiarity reasons, the fact that he has some of my all time favorite women in Beth & Victoria, and that Chyna/Steph main event.

I am going to be hard pressed picking a better team over the other as I've long been a fan of women's wrestling and there's very few I don't enjoy...at least somewhat. I think I would have worked the cards differently myself, but that's what makes these fun. PI has more of the draft choices I would have chosen for myself and his card is more fun, but I think PB's card is more solid. Overall, there are more matches on PB's card I would be more excited to see.

Did I mention this sucks?

Voted for pi as I thought the card would be better in terms of the matchups working in terms of character work. I'm sure the workrate in PB would be better. 8

I echo these thoughts. To be perfectly honest, I really dislike 🤯's card. Steph vs Chyna would either be a boring Chyna vs Ivory -esque squash, or some kind of dumb sports entertainment spectacle. Which might not be all that bad to be honest. As for the rest of his card, only Jazz vs Shayna appeals. Can't stand ODB and Luna Vachon. Beth Phoenix is wasted. Sorry 🤯

My decision is made all the easier by the fact that PB's card is amazing. Not sure why he's booked a loser leaves town match, unless he plans to not use Gail Kim on his future cards, Kim vs Ripley doesn't need a gimmick. It's hard to imagine myself ever voting against PB with that roster.

Nah, there is a lot of quality on your roster. You stole multiple picks from me at different stages. I think it’s obviously more sports entertainmenty than some people’s tastes, but it’s a badass roster.

I should've had a feeling my sports entertainment tastes weren't going to go over so well with the general voting public when all these Joshi and current independents whose names I don't recognize were being drafted.

I also concede that my matches on paper, especially with no build-up blurbs leave a lot of room for improvement. But maybe no build-up would've helped if the general tastes are more for "pro wrestling" pro wrestling than "sports entertainment" pro wrestling.

For Chyna/Steph, I pictured the ladies equivalent of Austin/Vince from St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Maybe I should've even made it a cage match? I feel like Steph's recent-ish matches against Nikki Bella(?) and Ronda/Angle proved to me that she can certainly hold her on in a wildly entertaining match.

For Jazz/Shayna, I also concede not being familiar enough with Shayna maybe hurt me there. I had a sense that she really kinda only worked best as a heel, considering how much she terrifies me. I guess I kinda envisioned this match as the female wrestler equivalent of a pitbull dogfight.

I feel like Luna doesn't get the love she deserves because of her crummy booking in WWF and then the era she was active during. shinobimusashi seemed to be aware of her ECW stuff, which I think captures the version and type of work I was going for with Luna. I should've outright made the Psycho Showdown a hardcore match, to draw more on Luna's ECW work and also Victoria's hardcore match with Trish from 2002 that way exceeded all real-time expectations.

ODB was a gal I loved from the early days on TNA, but didn't really follow her much afterward. Going by the standards of the early 2000s for women's wrestling, I thought she stood out as a uniquely entertaining hoot. If she went on to prove that she sucked through ensuing years, I wasn't following TNA anymore to know.

You absolutely got this one right. @admin's point was that you put two of the biggest heels on your rosters against one another. Personally I think it's the best match on your card by some distance, and that's coming from someone who's not at all familiar with Jazz.

Jazz was a good babyface in ECW. I didn't really care for her in real time back in the day because I was a young meathead but looking back in hindsight they were doing some progressive stuff in booking her the way they did in 2000, she was a legit character presented as a skilled athlete that turned the normal ECW female archetype on it's head, instead of doing catfights and shaking her ass she was fucking dudes up as "The Female Fighting Force", it was pretty ahead of it's time really, she could have been like the trojan horse that brought serious female wrestling to ECW had the company not been on it's death bed at that point. What was missing was a good opponent, somebody like Shayna would have been the perfect foe.

PB, if I were you, I'd take Sable and Chyna and do the Playboy Playmate Showdown I should've done this round.
