In the last year my views have changed on guns and gun ownership. It started with 2 videos below.
Pro gun people will tell you that if you take the guns away from law biding citizens only the criminals will have guns. This is typically a conservative view point. So is the notion that the only way to stop a tyrannical government is with guns. Often it seems liberals scoff at this. But months ago my mind got warped on what this actually means. More guns mean more political power. And if the conservatives are the only ones to own the guns then they are the only ones to hold the power over the government. Here is the video that I think explains it really well.
I think there needs to be an exercise like this with a typical liberal view. Like, maybe someone or some group standing off with the government to defend someone from across the border seeking asylum. Or something like that. Not sure the exact situation, but I think it may be time that the liberal mind may come to realize that if they don't have the guns and the expression of power over the government like the above they will only continue to be victims or stepped on.
The other video on gun ownership that I think liberal type minds should think of owning guns comes from the below.
I think some people who are afraid of the Trump regime may need to arm themselves or all of the guns will be on one side.
