I’ve never cheered for Tiger. I was a Phil fan through pretty much his entire prime (another lefty like me). I really just never cared. I feel the same way about this win, I can’t even look at Twitter.

14 years between green jackets, and 11 years between majors. This is quite a feat for Tiger. Especially after having years marred by numerous injuries.

He's not a particularly likeable fellow, but it is a great story. 3 back surgeries, disgraced in the public eye, DUI, therapy, to come back and win 11 years after he last did it. It doesn't justify how much of a shithead he was, but to go from pretty much as low as he could get back to the top takes some doing and deserves to be commended.
I do understand the frustration with the Tiger only mindset from golf fans though. Butch Harmon just said on Sky Sports: 'Golf is back'. Like, come on.

I didn't think he would win at Augusta again. I thought he would sneak in a PGA or a (British) Open Championship to maybe get to 16. He still has a long way to get to 19 to complete the greatest comeback in the history of sports. It's rare for golfers to win multiple majors in their 40's. I will be watching with great interest however.
For the record Ben Hogan's comeback is at least the greatest in the history of golf. Get back to me when Woods comes back from near death to win 3 majors in a season while he's barely able to walk. I think Woods may have edged ahead of Hogan for 2nd greatest again though.
