I guess the injuries to superstars such as Aaron Rodgers and OBJ have people not starting tailgating parties anymore. I don't have time to go on a ramble about every game this week, but TONIGHT....

.... We get the Kansas City Chiefs taking their division lead over to the Oakland Raiders. From the best to the most disappointing. The Chiefs have a 5 game winning streak against the Raiders. Derek Carr is 1-5 against them and Amari Cooper is 0-4.

Tonight, that changes. I have the Raiders pulling the upset and winning 23-17 in OVAHTIME. Amari Cooper with a 65 yard catch and run for the game winning TD as he revives himself from the black hole he is in.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Bowman goes in his first game for the Raiders, he's not the player he once was but at his best he was one of my favourite defenders to watch.

Despite that I don't see Oakland having much chance tonight. The Chiefs defense has dominated Carr the past couple of seasons and he's playing hurt. Pittsburgh showed the blueprint of how to show down the KC offence, but I don't see Oakland being able to replicate it. They're allowing the sixth most rushing yards and fifth most receiving yards to running backs which bodes well for another big Kareem Hunt game.

No Texans football this weekend. I wish they could work something out with Duane Brown to get him back.

Quite interesting that next week's game that he needs to return by for free agency purposes, just happens to be against Seattle, the logical trade partner for the Texans.

I feel like Brown was well worth working a new deal with, he was still playing at a high level last year(he did pretty good against NFL DPOY in last years Wild Card playoff game) and he's been a rock for this team for like 9 years. I feel like the Texans should have done something to get him on the field earlier. Not a big fan of the idea of trading him, he's probably got another solid 2-3 years left if not more. A lot of Texans fans turned on him and want him gone because he did something during the national anthem last year, fuck all that noise. 

Awesome start. A flea flicker TD from Carr to Cooper. Cooper already has 2 receptions for 50 yards. I have a feeling about tonight's game. 7-3 Oakland.

Hunt is such a weapon. Speed, tackle breaking and good hands.

Kelce exploiting Bowman’s deficiency in pass coverage.

Woof, two awful defenses going at it. Chiefs defense has tightened up after the half in most games, gonna take some serious coaching in this one.

A three play, 99 yard TD drive is something.

Sensational blitz pick up by Hunt on that TD play.

This is a fantasy owners dream come true of a game. It's going to be a tight shoot out throughout.

Ridiculous play call by Oakland putting Carr in danger, but a very dirty late hit by Peters.

Geez. We need Janikowski to come back ASAP.

No defense for the hit by Peters, but I’m shocked at how many punches thrown by the Raiders were ignored in that melee.

Unbelievable TD by Wilson. That Raiders secondary is TERRIBLE!

KC get that deflection back from last week.

Corners from both teams are having a nightmare.

Not in love with the Raiders getting the ball back, even if they have to go 90+.

Chiefs defense gets an easy three and out. Somehow.

These Thursday games have finally been consistently great. You'll be hard pressed to find a more hectic end of a game than this.

That ending was insane. What a night by Cooper. 210 yards, 11 receptions and a TD. Derek Carr was amazing, too. An unbelievable finish.

Amazing game with a ridiculous finish. I think the refs called it perfectly.

All of a sudden it looks like the Chiefs defence will hold their offence back which would have sounded ridiculous last season. Their tackling tonight was absolutely awful.

Had the ref blown the whistle yet?      If not I don't see how it's a late hit.     Carr stayed on his feet and was trying to break the tackle AND he was outside the tackle box.     Now if the ref did whistle the play dead then it's a late hit no question.

Haven't trusted the Chiefs D from what I've seen this season, and Raiders finally took advantage where the Redskins and Steelers kept missing, just way too many holes. You shouldn't be losing games when the offense puts up 30 points.
