Damn, I went to bed early when the Chiefs were ahead I figured it was over. Carr is the fucking man.

A well deserved win for the Raiders. I've been surprised with their effort so far this season, from what I've heard and read they hadn't built on what got them to the dance the year before and had lost their way in recent weeks. It seemed like they knew what this week meant for their season, so they decided to play to their strengths. So far this season, Amari Cooper has been one of the most disappointing players in the league and has been like a ghost in the stat sheet. Last night he received the ball eleven times and didn't the Chiefs defence know about it. That really brought Carr out of his shell and the guy didn't die wondering. You could make the argument that it was his best performance since Tampa Bay last year where he threw for 4 TDs and 513 yards.

Will be interesting to see what the Raiders take out of that win. Things were really looking ugly at half-time with Marshawn and some other nonsense happening on the sidelines. A win like that can make a season, but there were plenty of cracks on display.

Same can be said of KC. That's two in a row now and they've got 11 days to wrap their heads around the Broncos. That's a lot of time to stew on these negative emotions.

Either way, it was a great game. It's certainly one we should all remember when we reflect on the season.

I picked the Chargers to beat the Broncos this week and IF that happens, a possible matchup between the Broncos and Chiefs would be even bigger considering they could both be riding a 2 game losing streak with one of them about to hit 3. This division is the strongest in the NFL and with that win by the Raiders and maybe another one for the Chargers, this division could go to anyone.

The NFC seems to be the most enticing right now. I don't know how good the Eagles truly are even though they're hot right now. They were hot last season to start and fell apart in the last half of the season. The Packers were my favorite to win the NFC until Aaron Rodgers went down. It could be another year where a random NFC team makes their first Super Bowl in awhile. It's really a toss up whereas the AFC I can't think anyone has a better chance then the Steelers and Patriots to make the Super Bowl. More so then the Chiefs.

That game last night was really something great. I was enjoying it up until KC started to pull away there, I figured it was over and I had to get up super early for work so I went to bed. I couldn't believe it when I seen the score this morning when I got up. I was tickled pink by the footage of David Carr watching the game from the NFL Network studio cheering his little brother on. I'm going to watch what I missed tonight on NFL Game Pass.

That Bears D came to play today. Already scored two defensive TDs.

Watching a good Rams team is so much fun. I'm still a fan despite them abandoning STL in such a shitty fashion.

It's all unraveling for the Jets. That's their season right there. It was a good pipe dream while it lasted.

Terrible loss, this defense allowed a clown patrol do this to them. Awful turf led to so many busted plays on both teams, Miami should be embarrassed to call that their stadium. Matt Moore once again looks like Dan Marino out there, only vs the Jets does this filthy bum get a hard boner and is able to stay relevant in the NFL. The AFC West just got a little bit interesting. The Chargers shutout the Broncos today, to win their third straight game. That, along with the Chiefs losing back-to-back, with one of them being against the Raiders, and we got ourselves a pretty open division.

To top it off, next week the Chiefs face the Broncos. One of those two teams will leave next weekend on a 3 game losing streak.

I'm rooting for the Chargers to win the AFC West now. It's time to shock the world Rivers.

Box score reminds me of the Texans win over the Steelers in their first year in 2002, one of the weirdest box scores you will see, we won 24-6 and David Carr only completed 3 passes the entire game!!! Carr went 3 of 10 for 33 total passing yards and was sacked 4 times. The defense scored 3 touchdowns though, a long fumble return for a touchdown and 2 interceptions returned for touchdowns by Aaron Glenn(one was 65 yards and another was 70 yards, Glenn was awesome those first 3 seasons for the Texans). 

Patriots block a FG and turn that into a TD touch pass from Brady to Cooks on the ensuing drive. 7-0 New England in the 2nd quarter.

The NFC South is a dumpster fire.

Nothing quite like beating down a division rival, Steelers take a comfortable 2.5 game lead, are 3-0 in the division, and are in full control of the North. Now hopefully they keep it together.

This game has been trash but the live spider cam because of the fog is very cool.

I've always wished they would show the Madden style camera view more in a football game, it's such a better angle than the Tecmo Bowl side view that they usually always use.

Its official. The Falcons were never able to get over that Super Bowl loss. This new OC has been a bust and the Falcons offense has looked awful as of late.

It was great for running plays (gives you a great appreciation for the athleticism it takes to make a jump cut) and to see the ball slingshot out of the QBs hands, but it does have some drawbacks like not being able to see the sidelines and no depth perception.

Duane Brown coming back is definitely a boost for that team. Especially for Watson. He's going to be even more explosive as a QB now.

As for tonight's game, I got $180 riding on the Redskins winning and the total score equaling 44 or higher. I'm also down 49 points in my money league for fantasy football with Cousins and Ertz left for me in a PPR league. So here's to hoping a high scoring win for the Redskins.

On some non biased talk, if the Eagles win they will sweep the season with the Redskins and it will only get harder here for Washington with their upcoming schedule. Dallas, followed by Seattle. Washington is in a early must win, which would be followed up by next weeks must win. These are some big "future money" games for Cousins coming up. The injuries are depleting the Skins right now, especially being without Norman again tonight. Hopefully Cousins can finally get his offensive weapons (Pyror, Crowder, Doctson and Reed) going. With their leading receiver being Chris Thompson, that's not good. I expect Chris Thompson to shine as CMac got 11 receptions against Philly a week ago. Unless the receivers learn how to catch. It's telling how underrated of a season Cousins and the Skins are having, but they need to wake up.

As for my final predictions, I'm going to lean to a high scoring game for biased reasons and predict the Redskins to win a thriller 30-27. Kirk Cousins to get his first MNF win. 

17-10 Eagles at halftime. The Redskins are really shooting themselves in their foot with these stupid penalties. They literally have let Wentz shake that rust off and let them score two unanswered touchdowns in the final few minutes of the second quarter. They need to stop that shit.
