Virtuoso ISTP-A (I don’t know what the abbreviations mean) Virtuosos love to explore with their hands and their eyes, touching and examining the world around them with cool rationalism and spirited curiosity. People with this personality type are natural Makers, moving from project to project, building the useful and the superfluous for the fun of it, and learning from their environment as they go. Often mechanics and engineers, Virtuosos find no greater joy than in getting their hands dirty pulling things apart and putting them back together, just a little bit better than they were before. That’s pretty damn spot on. One of my favourite things about my job is walking into a clusterfuck and figuring it out. What an interesting summary of your job. When I went through the testing it was a bunch of sales guys, 4 of us came form a background of being excellent service techs... Especially me :rockin: All the service tech background guys were the only "P's" which basically refers to spontaneity and adaptability rather than needing a methodical plan at all times. I always have a plan and thorough research, but operate in the full knowledge that the first thing to go out the window is always the plan. Your "T" refers to your analytical nature, meaning you are results driven rather than being all about the cuddles and everyone's feelings... I also fall into that definition. "I" means you're an introvert :eyepop: "S" means you value facts over theories in your decision making

I do lean towards introvert. I’m outspoken at work, I’m social, I don’t mind meeting and talking to new people or being in a social setting, but I’m happiest sitting on my couch at home with my wife doing nothing.

Had a guy at work that was doing a 3 day a week 3 week trial through his job provider. He worked really well and was hoping he’d get the job after his trial. I trained him as much as I could, his last trial shift on a Friday he had an anxiety attack and was almost in tears begging to go home, I tried to help him out as much as I could but in the end the supervisor just let him go. It was a packed club on a Friday night so I can see why that can be overwhelming but there’s much more stressful jobs out there. I half felt sorry for him, half felt annoyed. He was 29 with a wife and two infant children, surely he could try to pull through if he needed a job that badly. iNCY

My sister is now scared to drive and to fly even though she did both for years. Same as people who get to 400lb it's awful but why let yourself get there?

My ex husband now has debilitating PTSD from 4 tours overseas. He can very rarely go into places with too many people. A packed club would pretty much be his worst nightmare. he takes medication and does therapy but nothing has helped thus far. Doesn't bother me too much as I don't really care one way or the other except for the fact that it's hard on my daughter. I have many friends who suffer from it too. It's very sad to see.

Your ex sounds like the exception to the rule iron maiden, Most people with chronic anxiety disorders start out with small ones that they indulge too much causing insurmountable issues. If anything is too hard in life that you need to do, the only solution is to do it. I had crippling shyness when I was young... Couldn't even use the phone. Got forced into sales and I use to sit in the car before a meeting literally shaking. I didn't like the weakness so I persisted until I didn't shake and now I would actually love a career in public speaking being the wanker that I am

Obviously other factors that caused it but This guy definitely wasn’t ex-military or anything of that nature.

I got Mediator, the percentage breakdowns seem accurate enough. I am definitely more introverted than extroverted
