I think it's the viral infection spreading like wildfire.
I'm surprised they didn't use Styles in the Main Event, grab someone like Zayn for Balor and actually build up to Angle's return.

I have a prediction: Kurt won’t actually wrestle
Here’s how I see it going down:
He gets taken out backstage (we only see him after the attack). Then Jason Jordan takes his place with it later on being revealed he is the one who took out Kurt.

It's being advertised on ESPN, that's where I saw it first. I doubt they attack Angle backstage beforehand if they're talking about it on ESPN. That would suck, but in the long run, I guess it could be cool.

Why the heck has a TLC 5-on-3 Handicap been booked? With Strowman and Kane on the side with greater numbers? What bizarre booking. I guess the original match was The Shield against those guys, but it still sounds like insane booking.
Kurt Angle replacing Reigns is even more bizarre. Why would a non-wrestling figure be replacing a wrestler?

Adding Kurt Angle to the match does have some degree of logic behind it. Much like Daniel Bryan, Miz has had a side-feud with Kurt Angle since being moved to Raw, and even his storyline son Jason Jordan, and for them to now be able to get it on in the ring, it's definitely a good direction to go in.

Smart move to get more eyes on the product in time for Wrestlemania season. Anyone that was on the fence about TLC just got their minds changed in a big way.
Just sucks to see Roman taken out by this bug.

Putting Angle in there last minute is such a fascinating decision. I wonder what the other options were. One would think that another interesting option would just have been getting Brock to show up. It would have made as much sense story wise as throwing Angle in there cold.
