I figured I would get this up a bit early, as I know for Fyter Fest both System and myself forgot about it until the show was almost finished. Anyways, anyone planning on watching tonight? Or are you going to be watching the competition instead (Evolve 131)? As for me, I plan on watching the All Elite show first then maybe Evolve (or just save Evolve for tomorrow).

^^ Like with Fyter Fest, Fight for the Fallen will be free on B/R Live (not sure if it's just North America, or elsewhere as well).

The majority of tonight's card looks like it could be a lot of fun, as for my predictions...

With the G1 Climax happening, I probably won't get round to this show until after that is done. Not invested enough in AEW or this card to watch it as it's happening.

Why is Kenny Omega facing Cima?

No championship matches?

Who is Kip Sabian?

1. I assume Omega/Cima is happening so Kenny has something to do until All Out, where he'll be wrestling Jon Moxley. Now that I think about it, I should have predicted Cima, as I can see Moxley costing Omega the match.

2. Nope, no championship matches. AEW will crown their first heavyweight champion, at All Out (their big show in August), it'll be Adam Page vs. Chris Jericho to determine the first AEW Heavyweight Champion.

3. Not really sure who Kip Sabian is, honestly never really heard of him prior to AEW.

Moxley is in Japan now wrestling the G1, so he won't be at that show. Unless he distracts Kenny via video package...

I was looking for a kayfabe reason. Do AEW have storylines? Do you have to watch that dumb Being the Elite show to know what they are?

I don't know about Being The Elite, but they do stuff with their Road To (PPV Show name here) videos, they might have done something on episode three of Road To Fight of the Fallen (I haven't watched it yet, so I'm not sure). They've set up some minor storylines here and there with the shows they've done, but I assume they are waiting until the weekly show starts for most of them.

From what I hear yes, I made a comment about them doing another librarian match on the preshow. And said something like even AEW fans hate that gimmick why are try trying it again. I was told by one person that you kind of got to watch BTE to get it. Yeah you need to do outside homework to understand a match that suppose to make you want to buy a ppv I am going to get right on that. And yes I know this is a free ppv but still.

I don't like this librarian gimmick.

I don't like how librarian/book gimmicks are always played as bad guys, it really perpetuates the idea that being a smart person equates to being not cool which is a trope we should get away from. We should celebrate intelligence.

I really like Britt Baker, hoping they make her the face of the women's division.

Like the two champions from other promotions were going to lose.

I don't want to say britt isn't good. But the other three in the match just seemed a step above her.

A lot of people believe they should build around her. So maybe she just had a bad day.

Oh yeah, All Out is shaping up to be a good show... Omega vs. Moxley, Jericho vs. Page.

Kenny Omega doesn't have a single win yet isn't really that bad considering he has only had one singles match.
