Tonight at midnight EST, Nintendo is putting out the first installment of the best selling video game franchise, Super Mario Odyssey, on Switch. The game is being well received by every review with most hailing at 10/10, and 97% on meteoritic. Odyssey is being looked as a reinvention of the franchise. The iconic character is beloved by many, and surely be one of the best selling video games of 2017. Who on here is buying the game day one? Who wants to buy a Switch just for this??

Maybe this will speak to the quality of the game, but I finished it inside 24 hours.

I don't want to dissect the game just yet since some of you may not even own the game yet, but this maybe my favourite Super Mario game of all-time. I'm not sure if others will agree, but this had everything I wanted out of a Mario game.

Just finished the game & it is incredible. Probably my favorite Mario Game or at least top 3. The post game is insanely great! Don’t want to spoil anything so I won’t say any details about anything.

Won’t be purchasing, just another game ruined by a vocal minority’s politics. Dissapointed.

What happened?

The game has sold 2 million units in its first 3 days on the street.

Super Mario Odyssey sold 2 million copies in the first three days on the market. That's insanely impressive for System that people still have trouble finding. 2 million of the 7.6 million Switch bought it in three days, and I'm sure the rest are thinking about buying it or did after the weekend.
