I thought this was big enough for its own thread. AEW just announced that Jazz, and Ivelisse will take part in a  battle royal at All out to determine one of the women who will battle for the women's title in October. 

I really hope this leads to along term role for Jazz she can still perform at a very high level and really deserves more recognition.  Ivelisse I'm a little less happy about because of some of problematic views and behavior but she is really talented.

I enjoyed the whole segment really - Jake the Snake as the dealer - love the effort put in. The last couple of AEW shows chilled my enthusiasm a little bit but these two becoming involved has piqued that right back up again.

Ivelisse might have said a few shitty things on twitter but she's too good of a wrestler not to be featured somewhere accessible like she has been for a while now.

I've read some comments about aew that they need a big name signing for the womens division. Does ivelise count? It hinky she's super awesome and am excited to see her, but does this check the 'big name' box?

I would say that Jazz is a bigger name than Ivelisse. 

I don't really think that is a big deal though - it's just people hanging out hope for Sasha, the same as they are doing for Punk.

They are double downing on the Casino Battle Royale being a good idea I see. If everyone knew the roster it may work, but you can't have so many people may or may not know come in pack of 5. I guess you could watch the online videos before hand, but unless someone post them here I won't have hunt them down on my own. Pretty sure everyone who watches that show isn't going to hunt it down either. In this type of match you really can only have one person that feels special which is the Joker who comes out alone.

I can't find any info on Teal Piper. Is she actually a wrestler?

I read that Teal Piper is actually Roddy Piper's daughter.

Although I haven't seen her, so I can't judge her. I hope she's more closer to Tessa Blanchard, than Lacey Von Erich.

Haven't heard much of Jazz since that one video and seems she surrendered the belt and wow didn't realize it was that long ago since it was a 900 day reign. Hope whatever reasons behind that do not affect her here.
