No super powers, magic or supernatural forces.  Skip Airbud, Teenwolf and I believe Cat Woman was super natural as well.  What is the most unrealistic sports move in a realistic movie?  My vote is Ed Nortons two hander reverse dunk.

Say what you want about 'super powers', but it turned out all that "Mike's Magic Stuff" was water anyways. But this is unrealistic as fuck because there is NO WAY he beat that shot clock.

Off the top of my head I can’t think of anything more unrealistic than that. That scene was so jarring in an otherwise good movie.

I know Gone In 60 Seconds was a goofy movie but it was basically a normal car chase movie until Nicolas Cage made his car fly over traffic.

There’s some death scenes in normal movies that are terrible too. Sean Connery in The Untouchables always sticks in my mind. Dude gets shot 7,000 times and is able to stay alive long enough to crawl across his apartment and die in Kevin Costner’s arms.

Although I guess neither of those movies presented themselves as trying to be realistic.

Uhhhhh....Rudy never actually got a sack in that game. They added it to the movie because if they just left in what actually happened audiences would have been pissed. I guess that counts since it never actually happened?

Yeah every fight in the Rocky series would have been stopped after round 2.

The crane kick I’m ok with because the hot headed fucker charged at him full speed like an idiot. He had no idea what Daniel-san was doing and just ran at him, opening himself up to pretty much any attack. Idiots make idiot moves in fights all the time when they let emotions take control. He felt disrespected and angry so he made a terrible decision and got kicked in the face for it.

Has to be worse than the dunk, just needs the ability to jump high, I'm 5'1 plus disabled and, in my youth, I could touch about mid net (crazy hops, I had)...don't see why someone a foot taller and normal people fit couldn't get that bit more height. Not like he flew up over the hoop, just kinda eeked the ball over. Not likely, but not the most unrealistic thing possible.

I think it's simply the amount of air he managed while also going reverse and with seemingly so little run up (if you're talking about AHX) , I'm 6 feet tall damn near on the button and in my younger days could dunk a smaller basketball (like the fair ones) so it's not the general hops that are in question. Also it's two handed - which is way harder and something I could never manage to do , much less without a few extra steps to get going.

two hander reverse gets you a lot less extension than a statue of liberty requires more up.
