Yeah.  Mainstream media attention.  Something I'm sure WWE is kicking themselves over because of this.

I agree with SM ... Cody is really, really good. Just look at the gimmicks he was able to get over in the WWE. Look at how many unique personas he played. He's been hated and loved. He isn't a 5* match machine, but he IS a great character. That matters.

Honestly I think she might be their best ref. She is both not noticable, but the right amount of theatrics at the same time. And when the situation calls for it she has charisma (see last month when pentagon tried to throw is glove at her)

Adam Page is the most undeserving Main Eventer in a long, long, long time.

Jericho's busted open. Though that's not as big of a deal considering this isn't WWE.

The wide shots, and arena lighting and many aspects of the show all the way down to the lack of video packages and the focus on commentators between matches makes this ppv feel like an HBO coverage of a big boxing match show, and I think thats great.

Ha, I was totally veing sarcastic. The way they determined who would be in their firdt title match was kind of arbitrary, but not terrible, and this is still a good match. This is still better than how TNA determined their first champ.

To be fair, AEW probably planned on Pac/Page being a qualifier match alongside Jericho/Omega... then shit happened with Pac.

That was a pretty good show. Women's Division still needs a little bit of work. And we could do without the Casino Battle Royale gimmick.
