It wasn't just targets, Broncos sported a better OLine than what the Jets had last year with an inept center position, and seeing James Carpenter man LG which got immediately upgraded into Osmele. And Simien got to sit behind Manning and learn and not thrown into the fire like Darnold was which is why I hate the stat comparison. 

I saw Simien primarily checkdown in the preseason and I expect much of the dink and dunking to be done for however many games he starts. 

Well Guice is headed to the IR and Washington will be weighing their options in RB.

Since Gruden doesn’t like AP, I am hoping an option is grabbing Melvin Gordon in a trade. Make it happen!

Just watched the full game. Agree with HR that Bowles really kept the Panthers unsettled all evening with some nice scheming. This reinforces my belief that the Bucs aren't a terrible roster, they just need Winston to stop playing like the football is on fire. The Bucs won but Winston doesn't convince. Some more really bone-headed plays. I just don't get the patience with this guy. But good for the Bucs, sound defensive display.

I don't know what to make of Newton. It doesn't look like poor health because the distance was there but yeah, it was bad. I'd like to see another game before these 'Cam is done' hot takes but would I be surprised if he's done? Not really. He's a great dual-threat quarterback, I think it's a big ask for him to suddenly become a nice pocket passer at this stage of this career. A huge ask actually. I hope he can do it.

Btw they have to fix the officiating. It borders on moronic. How can pushing a receiver in the back when his back is turned not be pass interference. There were others. It's really becoming a huge problem.

Any advice? Right now I have Singletary/Hardman. If Mixon sits, I think it has to be Gio no doubt but if not, I’m not too sure. Hardman has potential for a monster game with Mahomes but CT is a PPR machine. So many decisions and I’m a 2-5 point underdog right now.
