Baker has happy feet feels the pressure before it hits and he throws off his back feet and lacks velocity on the throw. Its brutal. I think the pressure up front has made him forget basic fundamentals.

I don’t know how you have 1st and goal at the 4 yard line and don’t have a single completion.

I think the pressure up front has made him forget basic fundamentals. Yep, the tackles are not good but he has to slide up in the pocket rather than always sprint out to the right. I put it mostly on the play calling though. Going 5 wide over and over was a bizarre decision. I would have given Chubb at least one run, but you have to keep him in the backfield to at least force the defence to play the run.

I don’t know how you have 1st and goal at the 4 yard line and don’t have a single completion. I'd throw the ball to Beckham on the side and see if he can do anything. These all or nothing throws when the endzone clamps up your room on offense seem nonsensical especially in early downs. Especially when the pressure is coming to your QB early he needs an easy out to throw to even if Its outside the endzone. At least get into the 1 or 2 and so a qb sneak if need be. With three timeouts they could have gotten a couple of yards via a run or short pass and make it viable for a qb sneak.

UT you miss Clay Matthews? Not in the fucking least. Fucking bum. Fact of the day: The Smith brothers already have 7.5 sacks this year combined. Including a 3.5 sack day by Preston Smith today (including a strip). Clay and Perry combined for 5.5 all last season. I find your hostility toward Clay strange. I mean I get that it was time for him to go, but The Packers Super Bowl win in 2010 does not happen without him. Plus it's not like Clay pulled a Bret Favre on the team or anything like that. Clay is killing it for the Rams so far. Best move for both sides involved I guess.

That draw play on 4th and 9 better cost someone their job or Cleveland is fucked. That was hilariously bad.

I don’t know how you have 1st and goal at the 4 yard line and don’t have a single completion. I missed this part of the game when putting the kids to bed. Did they even throw to OBJ once? EDIT: and Chubb was playing pretty good tonight. Yet they throw 4 times. I’m having PTSD and flashbacks to the pre-McDermott Bills years when EJ Manuel would sail passes over receivers heads from the 6 yard line.

UT's Winners and Losers from Week 3Winners:
1. Brian Gutenkunst - Yes the weekly homerism continues but it needs to be applauded. This week Goot's two big free agent acquisitions at pass rusher combined for 5 sacks - more than Matthews and Perry had all of last year. They've combined for 7.5 on the season along with 14 pressures where as they only got 15 pressures all of last year from the two downtrodden OLB's. You combine that with the first round pick Gary getting his first career sack and recovering a fumble AND Savage getting his first pick of the year and continuing his DROY campaign and you have the makings for who should be the frontrunner for Executive of the year. That's not including Amos is a top rated safety so far in PFF and Alexander continuing his ascension into one of the leagues best young corners as Goot's first ever draft pick. Goot really has hit it out of the park so far taking over for Thompson.
2. @theshow - Yes our very own Show takes a huge W this week. Not only did his Saints go to Seattle and win a game they have every right to lose , the Buccaneers lost and proved their defense is more smoke and mirrors than actual talent. The Panthers continue to be without Newton (even though Allen played well) and the Falcons lost to the Colts whilst also losing one of the most important pieces of their defense in Neal. The Saints aren't going anywhere and should be in the thick of the NFC South race and probably even favorites at this point despite losing their hall of fame quarterback. That makes @theshow and the rest of the Saints fans winners.
3. Backup Quarterbacks - I wanted to make the Giants a winner for Danny Dimes performance but it's hard to make the entire team a winner when your best player is set to miss half the season so I went broader. Danny Dimes set records for a debut start in the NFL , Kyle Allen lit up a putrid Cardinals secondary , Teddy Bridgewater didn't fuck up in Seattle and got a huge road win and Mason Rudolph looked shaky but showed me he might be at least competent. Add to that "no longer a backup" Jacoby Brissett not being the guy who sinks the Colts season and actually playing exceptionally well and the backups are here to stay!
Losers
1. Freddie Kitchens - It's time to pile on , for all the Browns hype going into the year someone has to fall on the sword for their play on offense this year and that has to be Kitchens who IMO is one of the worst coaches in the league through the first three weeks. Nevermind his offensive play calling which has been terrible but game management decisions have also been terrible. From 20 penalties in Week 1 , to almost getting his quarterback killed up 20 with a minute left last week to many instances in last nights game like the 4th and 9 run , calling timeout on a later 4th down to ensure they couldn't get the ball back should they fail and not bothering to even set up one play for their superstar - I question everything Kitchens right now. He needs to get better or the Browns are going to continue their futility.
2. Jared Goff - Not to double dip on the same game but as a defender of Goff's contract it needs to be brought up , he's played terrible this year and last night was just more of the same. There is no excuse , not even an offensive line issue for him to perform like he did against 4 players who came in off the street to play in Cleveland's secondary last night. Yes he got pressured but the more I watched the more I seen him missing throws to open guys and making terrible decisions over and over again. McVay needs to find a way to bring Goff back to basics because he isn't the quarterback who was a perfect fit in this system up to this point in his career.
3. Vic Fangio - I almost forgot to add him but he deserves to be here as much as anyone. For years he was the coaching target everyone talked about and now that he's gotten his shot in Denver he is blowing it. For a guy touted as a defensive mastermind it's inexcusable for his defense to have ZERO sacks and ZERO takeaways after three games this season especially when you have Von Miller and Bradley Chubb as your pass rushers. Those guys could fall into a sack every other week and he manages to get nothing out of them. If Denver doesn't turn this down defensively I could definitely see this as a one and done year for Vic in Mile High.

Clay is killing it for the Rams so far. Best move for both sides involved I guess. I hate stupid football players. I mean Clay has so much ability but seemingly got more dumb as the years went along and was miserable to watch play. Especially when people who didn't know jack shit about the Packers or watch them continued to overrate him. Yes he made splash plays , yes he could pop off the screen but for every sack or hurry he had there were at least 5 or 6 plays where he completely fucked over this entire defense. He didn't ever understand the concept of team defense and why it was important which is why he would never stay on the edge , never contain the quarterback , never stay home on the bootleg - teams who were smart continually exploited Clay and knew that for 85% of the snaps he was a liability on this defense and they could manipulate him however they want. Match that with constant nagging injuries from what I assume is steroid use and I just stopped having time for him. He was actively ruining my Packers viewing experience. You're not wrong though , he was awesome early on , I loved him and everything he brought as a YOUNG player and we don't win the Super Bowl without him. For that I am grateful , but he never got better than that and remained the same player throughout his career. Never progressed. Never got smarter or gained anything from experience. He could have been one of the best to ever do it too - he certainly has the talent.

I think Fangio and Kitchens are suffering from the same problem - the division of duties between calling the plays and the responsibilities of being a head coach. Fangio being down on the field when he's always coached from up in the stands has to be causing an issue, it's simply too much of a coincidence.

I think you nailed all the losers. The Browns have a legit chance at 1-6 with their upcoming schedule. That’s a fireable offense with all this hype.
I always said Goff sucked but got called STOOPID so I rest my case.

Hell yeah, all of us Saints fans are winners this week. This fucking team came and played their hearts out without Drew Brees and every single unit contributed to the win yesterday. Alvin was unreal yesterday and could not be tackled one on one. Teddy did his job and managed the offense just fine. Defense held Seattle just enough and even got the fumble return for a touchdown they were robbed of last week. Even the special teams contributed with a punt return for a touchdown that set the tone for the rest of the day. All in all, this is the type of game we needed to win.
I still wouldn't be shocked with a loss to Dallas but we also have Tampa, Arizona, Jax, and a disappointing Chicago Bears team coming up. I am feeling pretty good about our chances right now. The rest of the division looks terrible so that is a plus.

Best news for New Orleans is how ATL and TB both failed to get to 2-1. They are literally giving the Saints the division.
As for tonight’s game; the Bears D will be back alive tonight. Don’t expect a good primetime game. The Bears will have a defensive TD tonight by King Khalil.
It will be 10-0 at halftime because Mitch blows. But that second half TD gives the Bears a big lead. The Redskins score on garbage time with a drop off pass to Chris Thompson who scampers into the end zone with less then 10 seconds left.
Bears win 27-7.

Meh you should still be able to do something with that talent. He’s arguably got as much talent , at least as pass rusher and corner than he ever had in Chicago. Like I said those guys should be able to at least fall into a sack combined by now. Kitchens is just terrible.

Bum ass mother fucker.
Has a knack for getting the ball but undisciplined as shit and terribly unreliable in coverage. I’ll take Amos 10/10 times despite him not being the flashy player Haha is. Also a shit tackler.
Savage is already considerably better too.

They got a touchdown there but why is Nagy so reluctant to run the ball? You're the favourite, you're up by a touchdown, your QB isn't playing particularly well, and you've called 15 passes and only 2 runs?
