Basically, without him on the board, this place wouldn’t be the same. It might actually cease to exist if we are being honest.

The countdowns are a routine we all needed. It was almost like clockwork that when I went on my lunchbreak there's be an update around 10. Course sometimes I'd get tricked and some asshole just commented when I thought I'd see the next number. Jerks.

100% agree.   UT's lists are the #1 reason I check in on this board.    Was kinda bummed he didn't do the QB list this year but it's understandable with how busy he's been on the boards.

Well this stuff always makes me feel awkward but thank you KING KID and everyone else for the kind words and appreciation and it is nice to know that people enjoy the lists that much. Really it's the reason I started the movie one on the old boards to try to get some activity on on dying board and I never expected it would be going into the 70's on the new board but if they helped keep this place alive than that is awesome and the ultimate goal.

Ness said it well , we it's a routine to come and check and comment and argue and make fun of Lionheart for his terrible opinions on every movie. It's a routine for me every morning when I wake up to come and add to the list - almost like people used to do with coffee and the newspaper. I like doing them early because it gives me something to do during down times of the day when I check my phone.

Ultimately it's never about the lists or the order , I mean it is in the sense that it creates differing opinions and discussion but it's not the end all be all. Ultimately it's just a tool so we can interact about movies and wrestling and everything else. I love reading the responses more than anything.

Obviously the credit goes to everyone who gets involved every week and every list. All I ultimately do is add stuff up and post pictures but without people submitting lists there is no list. Without discussion afterwards there is no point. So really getting this far was a product of this entire community staying involved and being awesome and caring.

I would also like to think it urged others to start their lists , in history there's three separate ones running right now and that's great. I love it and now I can sit back and just read and comment on them. Which is why that Top Ten will be on hiatus for now.

I have other ideas in the works because I don't mind doing two at once. Either doing one in OT about completely random shit like cookies , inventions , people whatever or obviously back to the Sports Empire to start a series. Will figure it out soon enough.

He probably hates my sport opinions but I appreciate his activity so much and I think he does a lot of work for the board that deserves appreciation. He seems a bit more mellow in comparison to his PW days as far as aggressiveness so credit to UT for that. Very rarely butt heads with him nowadays which is a testament in itself as we clashed every other day.

A fine thread to a very deserving, fine man. UT has been the MVP of PW for the past 41 months. The film countdowns are absolutely the highlight of PW, it would be a much lesser place without them. Huge props to UT for always coming up with imaginative countdown themes, collating all the lists, making the threads and enduring all of our heated discussion, and for loving Good Will Hunting almost as much as I do. I've discovered a lot of cool new films thanks to these countdowns that I may not have found otherwise.

I don't participate in the History of Wrestling countdowns as much because I am not too keen of a wrestling historian, but I always follow along.

The movie countdowns are so good because, despite all of our protestations, he has kept it so simple and easy to take part in. I don't take part in the HoW ones as often because my memory doesn't work as well for wrestling - but I love following along.

Same here. My work break is usually between 10-11. Right around the time UT usually updates. PW is almost always my first destination on those breaks. I get antsy on the rare occasions I end a break with no countdown updates.

This past summer we were visiting my father in law and we found out that his wife only poops like once or twice a week. She saw a doctor about it and they were just like “you’re healthy, you don’t have any issues from it, so don’t worry about it. Some people are just like that.”

Blew my mind. If I go 48 hours without pooping I get scared, both because that’s not normal for me and I know I’m going to have a bad time when I finally poop again.

Almost literally exactly ditto this.

I poop when I get the urge. Most of the time it's in the early evening, but I spend one or two mornings per week pooping in the morning at work. 9am-10am.

To continue from RT's story, when I was a teenager I was pooping once every 2-3 days, and I thought that was completely normal. Continued into my early 20s. It's only relatively recently I realised that such a gap is infrequent. Back then I probably didn't consume enough liquids, and had a bad diet, so a little constipated.

Gotta be honest though, I do feel a little bad about turning the UT appreciation thread into a literal shitfest. But that's PW, right?
