I’m shocked SCU won but I’m so glad they did. I love all three of these guys and they’re going to have an instant classic with Lucha Bros.

Still not sold on Britt Baker, the wrestling dentist who is actually a legit dentist but doesn't reflect that in her outfit or character promos or moveset except for a tossed-in Mandible Claw finisher.

Do they have enough time to explain that the match is done or did the TV time run out and the network hard cuts to the next show, b/c TV time has expired?

oh, well, that answers that. but my point remains, though, that in-continuity all that time we spent watching Mox drill the ref and stomp around the ring making frowny faces IS STILL TV TIME THAT COULD HAVE BEEN ALLOCATED TO THE MATCH.

I think they did one too many tag matches. By best friends vs. young bucks I was tired of them. It was nothing wrong with the match if it wasn't preceded by two more high paced tag matches in the same show.

It made me actually happy to see something from their subpar women's division. And it was pretty good by AEW standards. Some people think Britt is good but never really saw it. But I could kind of see it. Still think she needs work but looks like her selling being worked over by a bigger person is good. She just can't do it when working with people her same size or smaller. Though in a Britt spotlight hometown match I believe Jamie shined a lot more. And looked better then most AEW women's division in one night.

I like the main event ending in a draw. I normally hate draws but it made sense here.

I've really been digging these weekly shows, they fly by so fast, instead of dragging on which is great. Having said that, however, I do hate how two things have played out over the last two weeks.

first off, with Lucha Bros taking out Christopher Daniels last week, you just knew the finals would be SCU/Lucha Bros for the titles, so while the matches were great, I wasn't as invested in them as I should have been. As for the second thing, I don't mind the matches being TV time remaining, but again when Justin Roberts announced four minutes remaining, it took me out of the main-event and I knew it was going to end in a draw.

I don't know, with the tag thing, I would have waited until this week to have Lucha Bros. take out Daniels, after SCU won their semi finals match with the Dark Order. That way you can still have Scorpio Sky replace him and do the match without ruining the finals before the semi finals even take place.
