It's a minor gripe but I find Justin Roberts to be average at best.

What was the time limit on the final match? Jr said they fought for 20 minutes which I am guessing was suppose to be the time limit. If you include entrances then Moxley entrance started about 15 minutes before the show was over. And the bell rung at around the 12-13 minutes before the end.
I don't believe entrances count in the time limit so no matter how you look at it I think they used a set amount of time.

The early days of RAW is WAR had the same thing.

My least favourite AEW show so far. Chock full of the worst of modern wrestling. The first match was the worst of the lot. A tag team match with seemingly no tag team rules. Random nonsensical spots. Wrestlers sell only when they feel like selling. They enter and leave the ring when they feel like it. Nobody is really trying to win. Highly choreographed. My eyes were constantly rolling. But I imagine that's the kind of match that happens in Mexico all the time. Pure lucha libre. Cero Miedo? More like Cero Stars. The other two tag team matches were less egregious versions of the same thing. The Revival need to get their asses into AEW and sort this lot out. Still not sold on Britt Baker, the wrestling dentist who is actually a legit dentist but doesn't reflect that in her outfit or character promos or moveset except for a tossed-in Mandible Claw finisher. Why does she have to have an Isaac Yankem-esque gimmick just because she's a real dentist? I know they go on about it a lot, but it's not her gimmick. She's just a dentist who happens to also be a professional wrestler. She needs to ditch the Sling Blade, her execution is one of the worst executions of any move I've ever seen. Tanahashi is rolling in his grave, and he isn't even dead. I liked what I saw of Jamie Hayter though. She's British too, which is awesome, although I didn't know this until her post-match interview. Intrigued by the Brandi Rhodes angle, unless she turns out to have an irrational hatred of British people  I'm done with the bad, onto the good. The Cody/Jericho segment was really well done. Michinokudriver asked why the champ needs to buy a ticket, which is a fair enough question, but he clearly did it just to have a good time in the skybox with his pals and troll the fuck out of his enemies. Cody especially. Jericho and company blowing airhorns during Cody's interview is hilarious, a wonderful trope inversion of Vickie Guerrero getting bowled over by boos. Even if he didn't get to troll, it must be better to watch from the skybox than from a dingy locker room. I also like that Hager wasn't there. He clearly doesn't fit in with the rest of them and would have been glaringly out of place. Funny that the best thing on the show is a chaotic non-wrestling segment. That's what the Attitude Era thrived on. Is it then true that what American fans like most about pro-wrestling is the non-wrestling stuff? Food for thought... PAC vs Moxley was also really well done, except for Moxley being the one to nearly win. It reeks of superface-heavy WWE booking when two wrestlers on the same kayfabe level have a match, the heel gets a huge advantage on the other from start, and should really win the match because he's a top class wrestler with a huge advantage, but doesn't, and nearly loses. Why, then, wouldn't Moxley annihilate PAC when they wrestle on even terms? Perhaps the point is a little nitpicky, but to give them credit the match was worked really smart and make Moxley's comeback look a lot more human than superhuman. PAC is by far the top worker in the company right now. He can even do crazy high spots and not lose any heel heat, but that's more because eveyrone else on the roster does a million flippy dives per match, so he comes across like Lou Thesz by comparison.

Brandi's attack was really random.

I'm Only two matches in for this week. The opener was too over the top for me. It seemed sloppy. Just a bunch of high spot that took way to long to set up.
SCU and DO was better. The problem is The Inner Circle seemed to over shadow the match.
All caught up. Cody Jericho segment was good. I popped for DDP. Rest of the show was just ok.

I was nervous about Stu & Uno would wrestle on the big stage with these Dark Order personas but I was very happy with the outing they had. They brought their A game.

I like the Dustin Rhodes and Sonny Kiss team on this week dark episode. I think it is the first time they teamed and they had similar looking attires and colors which I think helps a random pairing feel more like a team. Old Goldust is kind of like Kiss's personality so a mentor/student team could be really nice. Plus it didn't move as fast as the tag matches on the main show and for the most part felt like a normal tag match not a tornado tag match.
