I think Tail Spin is where the majority of my love for Baloo personally spawns from. He was great in JB too, but Tail Spin was whole nother level for real time 🤯.

Pleasantly surprised that Baymax made the list and made it this high , I love him and Big Hero 6 in general. I was struggling because I wanted to put Tadashi on my list as well but compromised that Baymax was a pretty great surrogate as he pretty much is the spirit and essence of Tadashi in robot form.

Overall the relationship with he and Hiro sells the entire movie and helps you get over the heartbreak of Tadashi , also they doubled down on that sadness by the ending which IMO is one of the sadder moments in Disney that gets completely overlooked. It's not on Bing Bong or Scar levels but it's the tier below.

Sometimes it's weird being one of the only women on a board with a bunch of guys. This thread is one of those times.

I think only Baloo made my list so far and he was #9.

Baymax is great regardless of gender!

Wouldn't go that far, but it's certainly in the lower half. Bayman is an awesome character though.

Baymax making the list is a bit of a shock actually. I didn't think Big Hero 6 made that big of an impression. But my son LOVES both the movie and the TV show, so I have no problem with Baymax making the list. #3 is a bit high for him though.

Baloo on the other hand is easily the best thing about Jungle Book, both the original and the live action version. Baloo was also awesome in Tailspin as a cargo pilot.

Baymax was high on both my and Wife's lists.

His death is right up there with Mufasa as most crushing Disney deaths.

(Bambi's mom can go fuck herself.)

Belle is right there with Jasmine as my favorite of the OG princesses , she's the epitome of class and courage to me from the very beginning. Her shunning of Gaston , the fact that she's an outsider in her own town and gives no fucks all just makes her one of the biggest badasses in the Disney Princess realm. I know she's generally the most liked Princess so her being on the list or the highest princess isn't a shock but I didn't think she'd make it all the way to #2 , pretty cool.

Belle is my all time favorite Princess from my all time favorite Disney film. IMO she was the first Disney Princess who was portrayed as intelligent and beautiful. She was Brunette and she read. She didn't fawn over Gaston because he was handsome. And she saved the Beast as much as he 'saved' her. It was refreshing for a young woman like myself at the time to see.

Hotness enhanced by being a de facto Disney proxy for Wife. Just needs Jasmine's jugs.

Not a shocking , but a certainly deserving runaway #1 for this list. Genie is the singular greatest character in Disney history by a fairly wide margin IMO , mostly fueled by Williams incredible voice work and charisma and eccentricity he brought to the character. Aladdin is a mere blip on the radar without the presence of Genie/Williams and I refuse , refuse , REFUSE to even give the remake/live action version a chance because of this. There are some performances that shouldn't be messed with and Williams IMO is one of those.

Ditto this. Couldn't have said it better. Genie/Robin is, as KING KID would say, the GOAT.

There was no other choice for #1 but Genie. An absolute tour de force from Williams, possibly the greatest voice performance ever.

I'm sorry, but where the FUCK is Mulan? What is wrong with all of you? Not only did Belle place higher but she is the most "badass"? Seriously? Mulan joined the military to uphold her family's honor, despite it not being allowed. She went to extreme lengths to disguise herself as a man without even thinking twice about it. And then she ended up saving the entire country by kicking some Hun ass, single-handedly defeating an entire army. She didn't even place on the list!? She is the best "princess" by a huge margin and certainly the most badass. All of PW should be ashamed. Now prepare to be schooled by Jackie Chan, who will make a man out of all of you.
