I posted this in Fan Fic, but decided to get to everyone with this post. I’m sure others have had the misfortune of not getting what they thought they were going to get off of Amazon or eBay so we can all share our displeasures.

Also, I leave negative reviews like a mofo when I don’t get what I want. Probably stems from my job where people have no issue complaining about our work so FTW!

I bought a faux leather jacket for $50 thinking SCORE! and it came yesterday. It was nice and I loved it yesterday. Today, I’m walking around all day saying something smells in the house. The smell of fish or dead animal was everywhere and then I realized everytime I’m going out for a cigarette and I put on my jacket I smell it. Sure enough, it’s my $50 jacket from fucking China and Amazon.

My wife always warned me about buying clothes online and she’s been right 2 out of 3 times now. I got two hoodies (same brand, same size) and one fit and one didn’t. So Amazon continues to fail me as a Prime member.

Fortunately, these kind of things don't happen to me when I buy from there. Very efficient too.

I've only had one bad Amazon experience.

I ordered a Johnny Unitas throwback jersey for my dad's birthday....

and received a Julius Peppers Carolina Panthers jersey. I distinctly remember this was when he went to the Bears. So we're talking 2010-2011.

I almost never buy clothing online. Fitment can be an issue anyway, but I've also had enough Levi's jeans and Old Navy shirts where the cut is different from item to item even in the same size to where I don't trust it.

I'm phat and also fat.

I've learned my lesson about buying clothes online. 2X in Asia is not 2X in North America.

I usually only buy repeats of things I have tried on online.
But if we can talk more broadly about online shopping.
I have a terrible and CHRONIC addiction to aliexpress.com I have bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff.
My Dad works for me and nearly every day he places a package on my desk with a customary eye roll.
So don't go to the site, it is too addictive.

Mine is WISH. I have bought an unhealthy amount of stuff off that site. I think only once I've been unhappy. I seem to have good luck with shoes. I wear 5.5 women's and for whatever reason they have that size and they fit like a dream.

Ebay sellers that offer express shipping and say it’s same day shipping...and they never ship it that day when you’ve made it before the cutoff time.
