I don't know why Troy was talking about that being a mistake, there were Packer defenders in front of him, there's no way he would have got more running it than the pass he ended up throwing. Except even after he crossed the line, they still hadn’t made any move toward him. They were all sitting on their protections. I think he could have made the same distance as the pass before he even had to engage a defender. I know there is a lot of factors that would play in, but I think even the Packers knew he wouldn’t run it and that’s why no one made a play on him. What a perfect opportunity to do so. He wouldn't have got past the 10 yard line:

Fitzpatrick was causing trouble week by week as the Dolphins were losing and was threatening to no show if I recall so they wanted to weed him out. Steelers were winless when making the trade and lost their entrenched QB so Miami thought they were getting a top ten pick. It was a bad job by Miami no matter how you look at it. They brought on him voicing his displeasure by not using him appropriately, and you only need to look at how Jacksonville held on to Jalen Ramsay until they got an appropriate haul to see that the Dolphins sold Minkah for less than he was worth. The thinking is he's a safety so he isn't somehow game changing and if he was threatening to cause a stir until he got his trade that they didn't want to deal with the headache. Figured they'd invest the pick into someone in a more significant position

This was a classic Kirk Cousins in a big game let down spot but he's playing very well so far.
Plenty of time to go but the Cowboys looking like they really can't beat a good team.

Nice drive to finally answer for the Cowboys.
That’s definitely a forward pass. Dammit.
It feels gross rooting for Dallas. At least I have Gallup on my fantasy team to make it feel a little better.

Couple of great TD catches tonight, Rudolph's one-hander and now that beauty by Cobb.
Cowboys have settled in now and are taking advantage of the lack of pass rush from the Vikings.

We should start calling him Amari "Twinkletoes" Cooper with all the tip toeing he's been doing tonight.

Cooper was such a good trade for Dallas. Hard to believe that there were doubts on him as a true #1 when that went down.

Now that's how you answer. What a display of power running by the Vikings. I absolutely LOVE Alex Mattison.

Well I won nothing on parlays tonight. Fucking Chiefs and Giants. Scumbags. And Amari Cooper is phenomenal and about to hand mikec a victory over me thanks to Brian Hoyer being the worst backup since Josh Rosen.

I get it the first time , try and get the first with all three timeouts but what the fuck. Then that shit to Zeke. Cooper cannot be covered and Cobb is playing his best game since like 2013.

The NFC East is going to steal a playoff spot from either the Seahawks, Panthers, Vikings and Rams. Enough is enough. Stop rewarding the auto homegame in the playoffs to these eventual 8-9 win teams. Feels like every year this division struggles up and down. I know they have the Eagles and Giants SB wins in the last 10 years to show for it but still.
Two of the top three picks belong to this division.

A lot of really good games but that ending by Dallas was terrible and epitomizes Jason Garrett and Dallas. Mind boggling set of plays.

Chance to go 3-1 after next week against this division while being winless vs everyone else with the lone loss being a white towel throw with that clown Falk in at QB vs Philly. :laughy: I think four of the Dallas five wins are via their division. How bout dem Cowboys. The Pats get to hear all the chirps of feasting on the AFC East this year I mean I'm just sharing the spotlight. Sharing is caring after all.

I’m not going to talk too much about who the best yet is until we see tonight’s game finish but here’s some assessments of watching all these games in a betting bar room which WAS FUCKING EVERYTHING I WANT TO BE A PART OF DUDING FOOTBALL SEASON BY THE WAY! 1- The Indianapolis Colts are FINISHED. Sorry jTjohncenaGOAT, but Hoyer must be the worst or as bad as Haskins of a starting QB right now. They’re toast and they’re going to get beat down by Jacksonville and St. Nicholas next week. 2- The Chicago Bears are FINISHED. Yes, they beat the Lions but they would’ve lost 100% had Stafford been healthy enough to play that game. Granted both teams are finished, but that was the game I realized their defense is not even close to what they were last year. 3- Barring an insane 4 TD GW performance from Russ tonight; Lamar Jackson is the MVP of this season and the most electrifying QB I have ever seen. He’s Michael Vick x 10. That run he had where he scored a TD was video game like and fucking amazing to watch. You know what else I think? I think the Ravens are going to the Super Bowl. 4- The Los Angeles Rams are FINISHED! Jared Goff is awful and even worse then that in road games. If the Bears has a competent offense, I would say they lose next week too but although unlikely they’re toast. Minnesota winning was big and I don’t see them surpassing Seattle either. Goodbye Los Angeles. 5- Props to the Steelers. They will most likely just miss the playoffs but man that defense may be the best in the NFL next season. Minkah Fitzpatrick is in contention for DPOTY. Add in Watt and this D is the best next season. Watch. 6- The RAIDAHZ could win the AFC West. Although unlikely, at least they have the same amount of losses as the Chiefs at this point. I think the Raiders might get a playoff spot for sure. 7- I say this every week but the NFC is fucking awesome this season.

I have no words for the Saints loss yesterday. They played flat, were undisciplined, and flat out outplayed. Atlanta’s run game and pass rush punched them in the mouth and they had no answers. I’m glad we got this inexplicable loss out the way so we tighten up. Plus, I’ll be honest, I will gladly trade a Saints loss with a LSU win over Bama. Geaux Tigers.

I watched most of the Saints game yesterday (on mute because Charles Davis haunts me) and yeah that was flat. I don't always understand their gameplanning and Sean Payton I think sometimes makes things harder than they have to be. I don't know why Kimara isn't more involved and he seemed to get loose on a few plays while Murray couldn't get anything going. I mean the game was never more than two scores away and it just seemed like he was never a major part of the game plan. Weird.
Granted the 123 hands to the face calls and a few other just bad mistakes that brought plays back didn't help either but considering Thomas is virtually uncoverable and Kimara is as dynamic as they come it just seems like that should NEVER happen against an undermanned defense. As you said too , the pass rush was all over Brees but there seemed to be no screens set up to counter that. I mean it's pretty basic that if you want to slow down guys teeing off on your quarterback and just pinning their ears back you toss some screens in there. ESPECIALLY when you have maybe the best screen back in the game right now.
Weird game all around. Bad coaching job. Aside from the Falcons linebackers coach.

Bad news for the Saints regarding Marshon Lattimore.
He’s currently week to week with a strain. Bad timing, but as long as they can get him back for the playoffs they should be fine. They survived without Brees and Kamara this season so this team is really on the grind this season.

KING KID, well.. if we are done, the name of the game is lose and stay healthy. Brissett is our future. Bench him to protect him. Let Hoyer lose some more games for us. Get a better placement in the draft. Tear it up in 2020. I agree. This season is definitely a “what could’ve been” for Indy. After Luck retired, they fought with heart but injuries just piled up too much. Indy could very well lose out.

Colts aren't done ffs Kid 😂 I hope you're right but the Colts when healthy boast a great roster outside of the QB position, and Brissett is easily good enough to get them to the play-offs. Superbowl? I don't think so but I wouldn't fork the Colts right now. Too many good players. Plus the Texans schedule is not pretty and they themselves are always a key injury or two from falling apart.

George Kitties is most likely out for tonight game but you know what? I’m fine with that just rest him to recovery and hopefully he be ready to go against the Ravens or Packers…
Bring it on Seahawks!

pduh They said Kittle is week to week so he might even be out next week. Time for that running game to get to work. Todd “When” healthy the Colts are good but they are far from healthy. They’re not going to have Brissett next week or TY Hilton. Let’s also remind everyone that their D has key injuries to them. Hoyer is not going to get them to the playoffs. He couldn’t get them past Miami. Sure Vinateri missing an XP cost them the game but he’s still there and he’s still the kicker. I’m sorry, they’re not beating anyone with Pascal and Chester. They won’t even get Marlon Mack the ball enough to beat teams so they’re really not doing themselves any favors. Jacksonville is going to beat them next week too and that’s going to be it for Indy. Sure Houston has Baltimore coming but I am not guaranteeing Houston wins it. For all we know, Nick Foles leads the Jaguars to the playoffs or Tannehill does it for the Titans. All I know is that the Colts are not going to make the playoffs. They are finito.

It's such a shame that Ravens/Texans can't be flexed. Gonna be stuck watching Goff and Trubisky stink it up instead of Jackson and Watson. 👎
