We are good, except for the people demanding that we stop all coal exports immediately because climate change caused the fires... Why can't those people get burnt? Looks like we get a week of cooler weather before it all goes to hell again.

Still burning, it fact it’s worse. Multiple states of emergency declared, the navy evacuating people.
And the PM who didn’t want to cause any unnecessary anxiety talking about climate change, and had to be put in a full nelson before talking about the drought has seemingly appeared to be more interested in the cricket. These few weeks have proven what everyone in the bush already knows, Politicians don’t care about regional Australia.

The way Morrison has run from this has been truly bizarre. These sort of events are usually easy wins for a leader - get boots on the ground, console punters and get the media to take photos of you looking empathetic. Considering he styled himself as a man of the people with his Hurley baseball cap it's just been a massive fail.

Considering he styled himself as a man of the people with his Hurley baseball cap it's just been a massive fail. This is all the man had to do. A lot of people try to counter the criticism with, " well, he himself can't fight the fires " which is true. There's communities without power, water, accommodation, communication and with obvious limited capabilities to battle Armageddon, and the last thing they want to hear is a man justify his " work / life balance " and " how goods the cricket? " It's like when some retard bangs on about his right to bare arms in the wake of a school shooting - you just don't get it mate. The Spud is a month late to the game.

You realise Australia is a big place right? Yeah, but I assumed it was 90% outback, 10% beach, 100% bizarro world, 0% like anything I'd be familiar with. Also, 100% everything that breathes trying to kill, mame, punch or poison you. Jokes aside, I hope you all are somewhere safe and sound. Wish America would follow Canada's lead on this one but we're far too busy over here trying to start WW3... PRIORITIES!!!
