It's about that time again. Here are some options I'm considering...

Favorite Pay Per Views/Network Specials- Probably 15 per ballot
Greatest WWF Wrestlers of the 90s- Like the WCW & ECW ones on the old forum, but confined to just 90s WWF with 80s & 00s WWF to follow later, maybe.
Favorite Tag Teams- Somebody ran this one on the old PW a few years ago but it was only 10 per ballot. I'd expand to 20-25.

As always, I'm open to feedback and alternative options.

I like WWF Wrestlers of the 90s.

Tag Teams (since I missed that one) and I like the expanded list idea.

I like Tag Teams or Best PPVs out of those options. Both would be fun but are pretty open-ended so could provide interesting results.

What about a compromise... Best WWF Tag Teams of the 90s!?!?

If not that, I like either tag teams or 90s WWF wrestlers, and always prefer longer lists!

I've always wanted to do PPV's/Supercards. I'd be down for doing tag teams though, I'm in a tag team mood.

Yeah, tag teams seems like most popular idea, so I change my vote to that.

It looks like tag teams is the popular choice here.

Would you prefer we do Favorites or Greatest? Those aren't the same thing. There won't be a ton of overlap between the two on my lists, for example  :lol:

Also, would a 20 or 25 entry ballot be preferable?

I say Favorite just because it's generally more likely to lead to more interesting results.

I'll also say 25, because just like penis inches, more is better!

I agree, favorites and a top 25. There would be a handful of prominent teams that wouldn't score high or even make my favorites list.

Alright, it's looking like favorites and 25 is winning out. I'll give this another day or two in case any dissenting voices want to lobby for another option. If not, I'll start accepting ballots in a few days.

If we go this route, my Top 10 is pretty much set but it becomes difficult after that. Who ranks higher between the really cool team that was only together for 3 months and never went anywhere vs. the legendary team I loved for 1 year but hated for 3? I guess that's what I'll have to figure out.

Whatever we go with, after a favorites countdown, I'd personally like to balance it with a "greatest" countdown. The added challenge of trying to apply some objectivity is fun in a different way than the nostalgia recall that tends to be more of a driver for assessing favorites.

I think I'll cast an early vote for 90s WWF wrestlers.

If we do a greatest something I think limiting it to a time period, such as the 90s, is definitely the best way to go. I support PI's idea.

Alright, so it's looking like Greatest WWF Wrestlers of the 90s is where we're heading. I've wanted to do this one for a while anyway since we already did Greatest ECW & WCW Wrestlers on the old PW. I'll start a discussion thread with rules and a tentative deadline this evening if there are no objections.

I'm in the mood for a new PW project. It doesn't necessarily have to be another countdown (although I wouldn't be against it). No drafts though. I'm drafted out at the moment. Any suggestions?

Best ECW shows countdown. You might get 2-3 lists. :lol: 

I'd be one of those two.

I wouldn't mind another countdown, but would like a change of pace. UT's countdowns are fun because it's an honest assessment of what you've seen and you can use the list to fill in voids and get a better understanding of those around you. If we're doing a History thread, I'd like to have a six week build up and for people to make their cases for what shows should or shouldn't be on there.

I love this idea and I'd make it happen in a heartbeat if only I had watched more Velocity. But it's a show I barely ever saw. Velocity was a thing during a time when I no longer felt compelled to watch every second of WWE programming. Plus it came on Saturday nights during my party boy phase. At most, it would get turned on if I happened to be at a wrestling fan friend's house, but that was increasingly rare, and I can't pretend to have paid much attention on the rare occasions it was on.

But I'd be all in on a best Superstars matches countdown! Best Shotgun matches is also doable. I might even be able to squeeze out a best of Worldwide or WCW Saturday Night. I'd prefer a countdown with more than one ballot though  :lol:

I'm not crazy about any of the other ideas. No offense, guys.

We did best individual promos a few years ago on the old PW. What about best promo cutters?

Or maybe we can move down to fanfic and have 8-12 people book a card with any 16-20 wrestlers they want. No draft. Wrestlers can be used more than once. People vote for which card advances. Maybe add two wrestlers every round. 

I'd get a list in for best promo cutters for sure. Be easier to count and tally then the best promo list I had to tally those few years ago :lol:

My two favorite choices right now are Best On Interviews and Best Free TV Matches. We can work out the ballot size once we've decided on something.
