I don't like that Statlander's character is an alien. If they wanted to play that card, they should've had her backstory be that she was abducted by aliens.

How do you feel about luchasaurus? He's just a dinosaur and we didn't get an explanation.

I get we want backstory and all that, but with such a new company with all fresh faces I am very ok it people just act their character, and then we get familiar with it over time. The company is sort of rotating guys through semi spotlights (this week was jungle boy) so we are getting there, we just can't get the story of everyone at once. Statlanders post match interview had some uniqueness to it, so it a few times and well get more of an understanding of who she is

I lost interest in Jericho vs Jungle Boy the moment Jericho picked him up after the second Codebreaker. There's never been an instance of that spot that isn't dumb as fuck, and this was no exception.

I was thinking the same thing about the abduction but read that was her gimmick before coming there so I think they just let her continue it. And actually I would be ok with it without explanation if her gear looks better. Her random planets and stars on her hear looks like something you would find in a toddler section in a store.

I was really hope AEW won't run the Britt nXt thing into the ground but I should have known rule of three. The first time they did ok they are made they are just making a joke that cool. Second time ok it was funny the first time but so just stop it after this one. This week there is that spot again.

Really thought that Daniels would have joined Dark Order.

Britt Baker might be the most overrated wrestler on the planet today. It’s amazing how many people think she’s good. She hasn’t had a single good match in AEW yet, even against good opponents.

I’m sure AEW will continue to have success in 2020 but they’re going to struggle to grow the product beyond what it is already if they keep this goofy shit up.

Dave comparing Kenny to Hacksaw makes him sound like more of an idiot than usual. I've found Brandi's character pointless because I don't understand her motivation.

Yeah.  I mean, I thought one of the masked men was Shane McMahon, the way he was throwin' and missin' them punches.

I'm interested in Statlander.  I agree with CM Punk'd a backstory would be great. The commentators need to step up. Mike Tenay just like Paul Harvey would have already given us the rest of the story.

This was exactly the argument Meltzer made. Omega is being booked like shit.

He was a near invincible murder machine that overcame Okada to win the IWGP Heavyweight title before he came to AEW. And let’s not act like everything before AEW doesn’t mean anything. The internet exists. The Elite base their careers on that fact. Beating him should mean something. But it doesn’t.

It feels like he can lose on any given night. He wants to walk out wearing video game costumes and put over dummies.

I respect Omega’s ability but I’ve hated him in AEW so far. I don’t expect him to win every match but I expect whatever he does to at least be meaningful.

They seem to be the anti-WCW, another point I saw today. The top brass are so hell bent on being inclusive and putting over jobbers instead of being unapologetically selfish and booking themselves strong. After all, they are the ‘ Elite ‘ and should be booked as so.

And, as a casual observer - there seems to be so much going on. The Elite is feuding with the Inner Circle, The Dark Order, The Butcher & The Blade, MJF. Shawn Spears feuded with Cody for a week, PAC had a thing with Omega, Mox just seems to wander...

And now, it’s rumoured The Bucks quit Twitter because of the criticism. And as a tweet I saw today notes, the irony is The Bucks built a fan base on negativity and arrogance and can’t take the heat when it’s directed at them.

I’m sorry, they need a Paul Heyman like booker to come in, take the reigns and force the Kahn’s to force their VPs to take a ‘ do as you’re told - you’re not bookers anymore ‘ deal.

Dark Order is hitting their strive. I love it.

I find that reaction very hyperbolic. The TV show is 10 weeks old. There's no need for big changes right now. I love the fact that Cody, Kenny, and The Young Bucks aren't hogging the spotlight, I'm glad online reactions don't mirror the live crowds for every aspect of the product. The constant nitpicking gets old.

It feels like a very rush product, rather than a gradual progression from say, The Elite, Mox, PAC, Jericho, etc fighting for the crown and the product rightfully so built around it, to so much randomness in ideas.

10 weeks in, Cody has burnt through what could have been an epic feud with Dustin, and equally in length feud with Spears and now MJF, the B&B.
