I know you want to make sure you get the play correct and all but Seattle burning two timeouts to just make sure they are getting the right play in on 3rd and 4th downs was a bit much. With just one of those two timeouts conserved could they have slowed it down and not be against the clock.

Weird they split the conferences like that. Usually it’s one a piece each day.

I think that must be because Seattle has to go to the east coast and is coming off a night game.
CBS also not passing up an extra Pats game.

I kinda knew Bills vs Texans was gonna get ESPN as the fourth rate game usually gets the shaft but I think that's gonna be a surprise game shame Booger gets to call that one.
Could've had Seattle get the Sunday game and put Vikings/Saints as the primetime Saturday game.

I really hope we get Mahomes vs Brady, Watson vs Lamar, Brees vs Rodgers and Seattle/SF III in the second round.
That would be epic football.

I’m on vacation next week so this would be an ideal weekend of football for me. The only real upset I could see is Buffalo. I think they’re a better team than Houston. I can see Buffalo and Philly spoiling everything.

I wouldn't even call Buffalo beating Houston an upset. Buffalo has a better defence and Houston's offence leaves a lot to be desired. If Josh Allen shows up and Daboll doesn't make stupid decisions, Buffalo should win pretty easily.
Buffalo getting out of the wild card round wouldn't surprise me at all. Houston was the team I was hoping they'd face. Tennessee scares me (20 years after the Music City Miracle...gtfo) and Josh Allen can't beat NE to save his life. Houston was our best shot at moving on.
It's a shame they'll get pummeled no matter who they face in the 2nd round though. I can't see Buffalo doing much of anything against Baltimore or KC.

Feels like a bit of disrespect going on here. Texans are a team that have beaten the Pats, won on the road in Kansas City and Tennessee. 4th in strength of schedule. The Bills meanwhile have had a cakewalk at 24th in strength of schedule and have had one marquee win all year against the Vikings. You can think the Bills could win, it absolutely could happen, but Buffalo should just 'win easily'?

Buffalo would have won both games against New England if Josh Allen didn’t play like a scared little boy. Don’t start on me already, Todd!

I think the Texans will beat the Bills but it is a little concerning that they come in off the back of a pretty blah month following that big Patriots win.

Ron Rivera officially the new Redskins head coach, wonder if he got some mega deal. Curious who is his GM, one of those rare occurrences that a HC was picked before a GM.
And as much as I dislike Fitztragic, the fact that he got a OC fired and got in his guy Chan Gailey who he worked with almost a decade ago in Buffalo is unreal. Gailey is kinda shit if his Jet two years shows unless he is given borderline all pro WRs(Decker/B Marshall/Enunwa) left and right so I think it's a bad downgrade for Miami from O'Shea to Gailey but hey Fitzpatrick knows that offense and will easily be back with the team. Amazing how he did this.

Gridiron Heights actually did an episode last season about Fitzpatrick and how he continues to steal starting jobs.

Giants schedule is going to be hard next year. Same for every team in the NFC East. Wouldn’t be surprised if the winner of next seasons East is 8-8 or 9-7 again.
Giants have 6 with NFC East. Buccaneers. Bears. AFC North. NFC West.
It’s worse for Philly who gets all those except the winners of NFC South and NFC North which is Saints and Packers.
Cowboys get all those and Falcons and Vikings.
Redskins get all those and Panthers and Lions.

Some other interesting news.
Jaguars are keeping Marrone for next season. That boggles my mind.
Bhule is expected to stay in Baylor which means he’s not coaching the Giants.
The Bears are committing to Trubisky for 2020 which means it’ll be then or never for him.
All surprising news to me.

I don’t believe them but that’d be great. No way they would just turn down the chance to really see what’s available.
Lip service just in case they can’t find anyone better.

Rhule turned the Browns down but is still up to coach NYG or CAR. He's from Jersey so I think he'd be the Giants coach if money matches. He nearly became the Jets coach but he has a fascination in hiring Lions QB coach Sean Ryan as OC which they didn't feel would have done Darnold well hence why Rhule stood in Baylor. Maybe Dallas Cowboys too given his family resides in Waco and he would not have to leave the state for another big key job but not sure if he's the big fish Jerry would like. I think he is just trying to downplay this to not have his Baylor squad befuddled for their bowl game.
The only plausible explanation in Jacksonville is they don't want Dave Caldwell to get another crack at a HC and it's a mandate for both he and Marrone to make it happen in 2020 or else.
JAX, NYJ and ATL are the three easiest hot seat spots now. Maybe CIN too.
