So let’s have a thread for the whole playoffs.

Today we start with the AFC games.

The Buffalo Bills travel to face the Houston Texans to open up the playoffs. Josh Allen (3rd best QB rusher) squares up against Deshaun Watson (4th best QB rusher) in a battle for the ages. RT vs Todd. The return of Watt. Can Houston move the ball against that tough Buffalo D? Can Josh Allen play like an actual QB today and lead Buffalo to a playoff victory? This will be a big game.
Houston def Buffalo 23-17.

The main event tonight is the GOAT TB12 and the New England Patriots hosting the Tennessee Titans AKA 9-7 forever. Will Bill Belicheck lose to Flores and Vrabel in back to back weeks or will the Patriots find their groove in the playoffs again? The Titans have been red hot since Tannehill has taken over and they’ll look to continue that tonight. Would I like to see a Patriots loss? Believe it or not, no. I want the best moving on next week so we can get Brady vs Mahomes. If the Titans win, they travel to Baltimore next week and to be honest, that would be whack.

Tomorrow the NFC games happen and those should be the exciting games, in my opinion.

I don't want a thread for the whole playoffs~! We will see how the traffic in this one goes.

I have no idea what to think of the Bills/Texans game today. The Texans are the hardest team in the NFL to predict as I think they can both beat and be blown out by anyone depending on how it goes early. Their defense even with Watt still scares me against Brown and Beasley who should have plenty of space to run if Allen just hit them consistently.

On the other side of the Ball , Watson is going to have to be Superman and Hopkins is going to be huge. He's got a tough matchup though which may mean Fells and Stills really need to step up with Fuller out again. If Fuller was healthy I think I'd give the Texans a much better chance but I just have a bad feeling about this game.

I think I'm going to pick the Bills.

Sorry Todd , but I wouldn't be shocked if the Texans won either. Tough game for me to pick , I just trust the coaching and defense of Buffalo more. They at least have one consistent unit.

Jordan Akins is out which is a sneaky problem. He's a good pass catcher with YAC potential and really it limits our passing game further. Jonathan Joseph is also inactive so that will mean reps on the outside for Conley and Hargreaves and Johnson in the slot. The Texans pass rush is crucial here. Allen does silly things under pressure, but if there is no pass rush, things defensively don't look good for the Texans.

I'm remaining optimistic because really any team with Watson at QB, Tunsil at LT and Hopkins at WR should be able to score points. Let's put it together.

Yeah Watson needs to put on the cape , that IMO is the only way Houston can really win this game. Watson and Nuke take over.

I like Houston , I picked them at the beginning of the year and watched more of their games than anyone outside the Packers. I can’t trust them.

Also it would be nice if Shin were around for this. Maybe if Houston wins we’d get an appearance.

Josh Allen is a human highlight reel for better or for worse. Holy cow what a god given talent set.

Oh dear. This may be another long night for Houston.

Abject defense but if you look at DVOA you shouldn't be surprised. Nothing changes, we won't win this game unless we click offensively.

An excellent start for Josh Allen on that first drive.

If Buffalos D came to play, this game is already over.

We might get a surprise game here and have it be Allen vs Watson in an offensive showdown. We’ll see.

Still early, but Buffalo looked excellent on that first drive and have the way better HC.

Watson ain’t going to be able to hold the ball like that against the speed of these linemen and especially linebackers.

50/50 call, would be stunned if they overturned it.

I know it’s still way too early to get crazy but I really think Buffalo is winning this shit.

Buffalo are really good, but when you lack offensive playmakers, you invite close games. I wouldn't count chickens yet. They've started really well though.

Looked like a 1st for Watson, but too close to overturn. Allen's coming close to giving the ball away though, gonna keep it eventually.
