This is exactly why I wanted TEN in, the running game doesn't go away in January for these teams. Pats were one playmaker on offense away from being a top tier team with BAL and KC but they let it go in Antonio Brown(Well he blew it to by being a douchebag)

LMAO Vrabel ran down the warpath to make sure he gets his hand shook. Belichick had an angry look and barely touched hands before grunting away.

Pats needed that Gronk/AB type of guy. I can tell Rob Gronkowski was watching this somewhere angry he wasn't there because even at 30% health he would have been there to at worst command doubles.

I’m blown away by this. What a story for Tennessee. Sure they’ll get their asses kicked next week by the Ravens but still.
Tannehill wins his first career playoff game against a team he has been 0-6 against throughout his career in Miami. Mike Vrabel just eliminated his former team. Derrick Henry went OFF on his birthday. There’s so many people on that Tennessee team with NE ties that this is just a completely bittersweet win.
Unfortunately, we don’t get Brady vs Mahomes BUT we get Watson vs Mahomes and well.... the two best running teams in the NFL with Lamar vs Tannehill.
Ravens/Chiefs AFC Championship.

Haven’t seen that before. Sharp from Vrabel. (I’d rather they went for it, but still) Belichick did it up 33 points vs Gase and the Jets on MNF. Belichick got a taste of his own medicine. This will be cleaned up next offseason I think especially since it was shown on a playoff game. Belichick was smirking doing it because he was winning. Tonight? Now he doesn't like the rule Cocky ass got what he deserved

I’m looking forward to Tennessee/Baltimore next week. Ravens should win but Henry is on fire and the Ravens are prone to letting up rush yards. Especially on the edges. I’ll be pulling for the Titans.

Though I really felt better about KC against the Pats, it’s time to send the Texans out of the playoffs again.

These AFC divisional games are great. The Ravens and Chiefs will be favourites but the Texans already won in Kansas City and Tennessee have the balance on offense to keep the ball and keep Jackson off the field. And no Pats. Great stuff in the AFC.

Couple of thoughts....
Buffalo got absolutely hosed when the refs overturned that TD in the first half. The rules on this are not fuzzy at all. They clearly state to give yourself up in the end zone you have the kneel the ball down. This is NOT up for interpretation and the referees DO NOT get to rewrite the rule book in the middle of a damn game. I get the refs were trying to stay out of the game, but this was a case where THE PLAYER fucked up, and the refs flat out covered for him, thus INTERJECTING themselves into the game. Just shameful in my book.
Great performances by Watson and Watt. Great first by Allen as well, but 2nd half he was trying to do WAY too much and was playing way outside of himself.
Derrick Henry is an absolute monster. He keeps playing like this and I think the Titans have a real shot against Baltimore.
Sure Brady is not the same any more, but I can't help but think the game would have been different had Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon not done Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon things. Belichick took a chance on both these guys and they both pissed in his face.

Great point about Josh Gordon too. I know we don't talk too much about failed Belichick trades but between the Dorsett for Brissett deal that IND has really come out on top of(Even if Jacoby gets replaced this year he is still not a bad starter) and more so probably the worst deal of the year giving up a 2nd round pick for Mohammed Sanu who outright bombed after the Baltimore game, Belichick failed to equip Brady with the necessary gamebreakers on offense. I saw McDaniels get blamed for the usage or lack there of for Sony Michel especially in the 2nd half and I get that but honestly the targets NE has scare no one. Ben Watson brought out of retirement playing the most snaps at TE( I think they truly thought Gronkowski was going to return midseason), a rookie who missed some odd games in Harry, A no.4 WR in Dorsett and Julian Edelman who is good but not going to jump and make a Hopkins esque grab to break through.
I read a while ago people saying Mo Sanu was a spy for Atlanta going in to sabotage the Pats for revenge a couple of super bowls ago and while I won't say it is that.....clearly that was a massively failed trade. Jets took Dey Thomas off the Pats lap because NE believed Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon would stick and neither did so and they got a measly 6th for a veteran WR who while not great or fully healthy I think is better than Sanu in knowing the McDaniels offense and being there in these big games.

Looking forward to today's games even more so than yesterday which might have been the best opening Saturday of playoffs ever.
I don't think the Saints/Vikings will be as close , especially late. I just don't trust Kurt and don't know how they are going to cover Thomas with anyone in their secondary. Brees should be able to carve that defense up.
Minnesota 14 New Orleans 31
The second game should be a close one , it's the Seahawks so it has to be. I don't have nearly as much of a feeling about this game but somehow I think Seattle manages to pull it out in the end.
Seattle 26 Philly 24

My issue is more with the Vikings as a team than Cousins, but I distrust them similarly. I fear this won't be as close as yesterday's games. The late game I would call a 55/45 game for the Hawks, but with so many injuries on both teams no one really knows.
