The AFC and NFC championship games are coming up , featuring one side of chalk and the other side of upsets. 

Both matchups feature rematches of games where the Chiefs and Packers lost , so this could be a weekend for revenge. 

The Packers are at the dance , and all bets are off if we can come out hot.

It's annoying/comical the disrespect this Packers team still gets by the national media. I don't always like to play that card but even this morning so called pundits are still weighing in on it and really they need to shut the fuck up. An NFL team won 14/17 games and yes not all of them were the most beautiful thing you're ever going to see but who cares? Winning is winner and we could ask the Vikings , Seahawks , RAVENS or Texans if they would have taken an ugly win this weekend and been okay with it. Or if they would have taken 14 of them and still be playing in the postseason and being one game away from the Super Bowl.

I honestly think it's because of Green Bay teams past where we'd put on a laser show offensively and Rodgers would take over and start to blow teams out , but that's not this teams identity anymore and probably never will be again. They are gritty , the play up and down defense and try to run the ball. They make plays when it matters most and people step up in huge spots that turn or seal a game - even Rodgers. Graham did it last night. Davante did it last night. Preston Smith made maybe the play of the game with finally getting to Wilson. It's what we've one all year , the difference being when OTHER teams (like Seattle) do it - it's considered toughness and being mentally tough but when the Packers do it , it's just not good enough. Fuck off. Teams can evolve , it's a new regime with new players and aging stars.

Fact is that I love this team , I need to say that before we have our first incomplete pass on Sunday and I lose my mind in a rage of cuss words but no one was really picking us to begin the season. Our individual players got overlooked most of the year , Aaron Jones had like 3000 touchdowns , Z got little to no attention despite being an animal on defense all year , Preston Smith was as steady and important as any edge player out there and came up big a ton. This is truly one of the most mentally tough teams I've seen in Green Bay in a long time and credit to that goes to THE FLOWER who just keeps finding ways for these guys to step up in huge moments. Shit's been an awesome ride and whether we win or lose on Sunday in whatever fashion I can say this has been one of the more ultimately satisfying years I've had rooting for the Packers in a long time because we just keep finding ways and because of the scars of my past rooting for them I still need to relearn that every game.

I hope no one gives us a chance against the 49ers. I hope that San Francisco jumps out to 14 point lead in the first quarter again and people can say how the Packers never belonged and I hope that we show the grit to come back at it again and prove that winning is winning.

Now I need Jimmy Graham to continue evolving into UT favorite player and I need Sammy Watkins to get into the end zone. I feel both coming. I switched it up and went with Breida in case SF does win but wish I played it safe and went Deebo or Kittle. Whatever. Last game was Tevin, this game Breida!

Anyways, it probably looks like a nightmare scenario for UT with me betting on the positive side of GB but fuck it, I did it for my boy. I did it for you man!

KC to beat Tennessee 38-17.
- The starters sit out there final 5 minutes with a 38-10 lead. Tannehill hits AJ Brown with a garbage time TD with under a minute to go so the score goes over and annoys the under people.


GB to beat SF in OVERTIME; 33-27 on a pick fucking 6!
- The game is sent to OT by Robbie Gould as time expires giving everyone with cheese on their heads anxiety. GB wins the toss but go 3 and out. On the second play, Jimmy G is rushed and tries to throw across his body to Sanders but is picked off by a charging Darnell Savage who takes it 40 yards to the house!

45.5 just felt too low for me. Titans ain’t getting blown out , their style of play generally doesn’t allow that.

I fear for Kansas City with the matchup in this game but I can't bet against Patrick Mahomes, especially with how he played last week. It'll be interesting to see how the Tits cover Kelce, I feel like Mahomes got half his production from crossers to Kelce last week.

Is Chris Jones playing? Feels crucial, he would be a huge presence in stopping inside runs from Henry, which are the bulk of the Titans early-down offense.

I also feel like the Niners are a horrible matchup for the Packers, although if Rodgers can find some magic all that changes. The Niners are the most complete team in the NFC though and have so many ways to hurt you, and so many ways to stop you hurting them. It's going to require vintage Rodgers and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what we see. I'll pick the better team so Niners by a field goal. I do think the Packers aren't getting the recognition they deserve. They can run the ball and with Rodgers at QB, they are balanced. They can push the pace and they can run the ball and take some clock. They're adaptable and that's how you win 13 games even if 5 or 6 are ugly. Their defense also hasn't got near the recognition it deserves.

Jones is out Todd. Which is crucial and changes the game a ton IMO. Chiefs going to have to commit even more to the run which means Tannehill has to take advantage.

The Packers best shot is keeping it close on defense and turning the ball over. Also max protect the shit out of Rodgers and don’t let that defensive line take over.

I just saw Andy Reid (and the Chiefs record) against the Titans and it horrified me.
