I'm glad Holliday is back in the lineup. Ellsbury is best suited as a very expensive pinch runner.

The Yankees went from being down 4-0 going into the bottom of the 7th and scored 2 runs, including a Judge HR. They then went into the bottom of the 8th down 4-2 and put up 4 fucking runs! They are now up 6-4 in the bottom of the 9th. Fucking amazing. Let's finish this.

I think the Yankees got this series in lockdown. They won all three of their home games, and they kept the Astros close in those first two losses. So it shouldn't be too hard for them to take one of the final two in Houston.

I am so excited and have plans to go to Game 5 of the World Series next Sunday.... BUT I don't want to get too ahead of myself. Beating the Astros when Keuchel was starting is HUGE considering how much he has owned us, but we still got to face Verlander again. Anything can happen in sports and until the Yankees win that 4th game, I will not get too ahead of myself.
Although, planning next Sunday out is getting ahead of myself. Lol.

If the Dodgers win today, the baseball gods are gonna need to have Vin Scully come out of retirement for the World Series.

The Dodgers are back in the World Series for the first time since 1988.
If the Yankees can beat Houston, it'll be the first time since 1981, that these two great rivals squared off in the fall classic.
I kinda want this to happen.

So glad the Dodgers knocked the Cubs out of the playoffs. Hope Astros can get it to a game 7 as the more baseball the better unless it’s the Cubs.

Well, the end came for Dusty Baker in Washington.
Like I said, if you want to make the playoffs, hire him. If you want to win in the playoffs, then don't.
This is probably the end of the line for Dusty as a manager.

I loved the Astros back when Biggio and Bagwell played, their playoff runs in 2004-2005 were the peak of my interest in the sport of baseball, after Bagwell retired and the Astros fell off I stopped following completely. I've been hearing the buzz about the Astros all season long but honestly I haven't really been keeping up with them other than checking the standings every once in a while to see how they are doing, I think I might have watched one or two games during the regular season but that's it. Baseball is just really not my sport.
I watched game 5 of this series a couple of nights ago where they gave up the 4-0 lead in the 8th inning. Last night was a hell of a performance down 3 games to 2 against the almighty New York Yankees, they could have easily folded it up and called it a season last night like so many Houston sports teams have done in that same position in so many playoff games/series, but for them to put up that kind of fight was pretty remarkable. Game 7 against New York Yankees winner goes to World Series, what an awesome scenario, I'll be watching and rooting for the home team tonight for sure.

Game 7. Man this is so fucking exciting. It really is, I don't even watch baseball and I'm jacked for this. I can't imagine what it must feel like for someone who has lived and died with this team for the full 1,762 games or however long the baseball season is.

CC doesn't get through 4 innings. 3 2/3, 1 ER and has left a man on 1st and 2nd. His stuff was not there today. He looked bad from the jump and fortunately Judge robbed that HR earlier, because this score could be better for Houston. It's still early, but we need to get out of this 4th inning.

Man this is frustrating. Gary Sanchez is a terrible catcher. The dude can't catch shit. He should be a DH. They need a defensive catcher. 4-0 Houston and this shit is getting dangerous.

Congrats to Houston, on earning their second World Series berth.
It's gonna be an interesting World Series, featuring two former rivals in the old NL West. Either the Astros will win their first ever World Series. Or Los Angeles gets their first title since '88.
I'm gonna go with Houston in six games.

I'm upset. I mean I had no expectations for this team coming into the season, but I fell in love with them this season. Heartbreaking to lose a Game 7.
I'll go with the Dodgers in 5. They look unstoppable.

That was such a great moment last night when the Astros won, I almost teared up. Great job by that team to give Houston something to celebrate after all the shit that town went through, makes me wish I would have followed them a little more closely this season. All of that last night reminded me of how much I used to love this team, if I were a bigger baseball fan I would have stuck with them through those tough times when they were the laughing stock of the league, but it's just not my game. Will definitely be watching the World Series and pulling for them to win it all.

What a fucking crazy series, and what a game so far. I haven't seen a game this crazy and nuts, since Game 4 of the '93 Series (Toronto beating Philadelphia, 15-14).

shinobimusashi, WAKE UP!!! The Astros are one win away from their first World's Championship. Incredible game. Such a shame that somebody had to lose it. Likewise when this series ends.

I'm starting to agree with what Dallas Keuchel said about the baseballs being juiced. There's just way too many home runs this season and especially the playoffs. There's no way these aces are giving up this many home runs. It's crazy.
I really hate this Astros team. I can't help it. I hate their players and hate the fact that Guriel isn't serving his suspension until next season. Such bullshit. If this was racial towards an African American, Mexican or Cuban, they would be missing the remainder of the World Series. Since nobody in this world (for some strange reason) doesn't consider Asians to be minorities, it gets brushed away. Such bullshit. Fuck the Astros.
Sorry Shin.
Go Dodgers.

If they suspended him for the World Series, he would’ve just appealed it and wouldn’t miss any WS games because of the appeal process. Also, by suspending him for the regular season, they can dock his pay; something they couldn’t do had they suspended him immediately.
