PWInsider.com has provided an update on the status of Roman Reigns and what his chances are of appearing at WWE Survivor Series.

According to the report, WWE had hoped that Reigns would be back in time for the WWE Survivor Series event, with him expected to be involved in the 5 on 5 match.

However, whilst he isn’t hospitalized PWInsider.com has stated that the company is concerned about rushing him back too soon into the grueling schedule when he might not be at full fitness or be ring-ready.

Should Reigns be unable to compete at WWE Survivor Series, WWE’s current ‘Plan B’ is to have Jason Jordan replace him in the match.

This would continue Jordan’s push as a singles wrestler and place him on the same team as his storyline father, Kurt Angle, allowing for that storyline to be developed further.

Jason Jordan, huh? Could be an interesting team.

Imagine if this happened around Mania where all their plans are around him getting his 7th coronation as THE GUY by beating Lesnar.

I would laugh so hard if that happened.

As noted, Raw star Roman Reigns has been off WWE television as he continues to recover from the mumps. The illness caused major changes to WWE creative plans, as it also kept Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas off the road and off TV.

According to a new report by PWInsider.com, Reigns is officially cleared to return to the ring, and his return to TV should take place on WWE Raw next Monday night in Atlanta. 

Next Monday’s edition of WWE Raw should also feature the announcement of The Shield vs The New Day in a six man tag team match at WWE Survivor Series. Reigns’ return on Raw will help setup the bout, taking place just 6 days later in Houston, Texas.

If the six man tag team match is indeed announced for Survivor Series, it will replace the originally planned Champions vs Champions match featuring Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs The Usos.

Well, that explains why The Bar won the tag titles on Monday. So now we got...

The Bar vs. The Usos

and

The Shield vs. The New Day

There won't be a tag team match if they do a 6 man tag.


I'd rather see the Usos

They got four hours to fill. So I wouldn't be surprised if they do go along with The Bar vs. The Usos.

Wonder if Sami and Owens will make it on the card....

You'd think they'd have to do the champion vs champion match. Otherwise they're saying Shield vs New Day is more important then both sets of your tag team titles.

That isn't entirely wrong both teams are seen as beyond the tag titles.

And they may claim they pulled the tag match because one of the Usos is hurt.
