ARRRRRRRR!!!! AHOY THERE, MATEEEEES!!! This week's Dynamite is ready to set sails.
Tonight, the stars of AEW climb aboard the Chris Jericho's Rock & Wrestling Rager At Sea. And I'm not sure, but this might also be the first ever major wrestling show to broadcast from the Bahamas.
And of course, since this is his cruise, Le Champion will be here. And he will be in action. As he, Santana & Ortiz will square off against Jurassic Express, in six-man action.
Also in action, Jon Moxley vs. PAC in a #1 Contenders Match, MJF vs. Joey Janela, and Dr. Britt Baker will be in action as well.
And there will also be gold on the line as well, as SCU put their Tag Team Titles on the line against Kenny Omega and "Hangman" Page.
Should be a great show. Think we'll see a man overboard tonight?

The setting kinda reminds me of when Nitro would go to Panama City Beach for Spring Break.

Will see it later but heard the results from the tag match yesterday. Company cares about tag teams when your second team is a thrown together team of solo stars who kind of get along.

Really? I thought this was live? Nope they are on ship don't think they can do it live. Or it would be very expensive to do so.

In the case of Priscilla Kelly and Britt Baker, I thought it was a matter of turn about being fair play. Britt was clearly out-grappling Kelly, but Priscilla started getting down and dirty and cut a lot of corners to put Britt in a compromising position. In the end, Britt's decision to use the ropes to reposition herself and Kelly was smart but I have to question the official. Surely that should have caused a break in the hold? Regardless, Britt is clearly going heel. The good girl, the straight A student and practicing dentist is going naughty and I suspect it's going to be like the Little Shop of Horrors for Riho. I think it's a good development for the division, I think the Nightmare Collective has been an unwelcome distraction and we just need to see these women vying for who is the best. I have to say, despite her popularity, I've been disappointed with Riho's commitment to AEW. Emperor watch the opener ya egg sucking dog.

I was thinking Britt using the ropes like that was legal since Sasha does that in a lot matches. I thought you just couldn't hold the ropes for more then a 4 count during a submission. I still think Lockjaw takes way to much time to do. And she wonders why she can win multi person matches with it.
I knew she won't stay face to long since intelligence in wrestling is a heel trait. Riho is only popular with the live crowds. Shida and/or Kris are probably the most popular they currently have.

Emperor watch the opener ya egg sucking dog. I answer the summon. Last week I said I wasn't liking the Hangman Page angle because I didn't get it, and due to his poor acting, but watching this match has made me flip my view now that I understand it a bit better. Hangman Page isn't a guy teasing a heel turn. He's just going through a bad phase. He lost to Jericho in the biggest opportunity of his career, and hasn't been the same since. But the bigger problem is The Elite. Page is the outcast in that group. The Bucks and Omega are obviously tight, and Page is the other guy. That's a pretty shitty feeling, being the "outcast", and it hangs over his head. His inferiority is enhanced by the fact that Omega always comes second in their entrances, he's announced second, and Omega is generally presented as the bigger deal. An unequal partnership. But Page soldiers on because he's a professional, and even though he's depressed and he fucks up in the tag matches, Omega forgives him and treats him well. Now that I understand that, maybe Page isn't such a bad actor after all. Plus, this was his night. Barring that one moment where he Buckshotted Omega, he was the star of the match. He saved Kenny's ass multiple times, and won decisively by hitting both guys with his finish and pinning one of them. Hangman Page is the tag team champions. Britt's heel turn was not unjustified. She's just won a hard fought (albeit shitty) match, and here comes high and mighty Tony Schiavone, with his passive aggressive congratulations, telling her she won in questionable manner. You're supposed to be impartial, ya goof. No wonder she unleashed on you, even if her unleashing wasn't well-executed. And did they really cut her off when she was about to give a dental analysis? Fuck you, that may actually have been worth watching. I'm starting to like MJF's Cross Rhodes more than Cody's. Double Cross is a better name too. Tony Schiavone is in full dick mode today isn't he? First Britt Baker, then he cuts off Hangman Page in the middle of an interview because the messiah Kenny Omega is there. Sack him before he turns the whole roster evil with his awful partisan interview technique. PAC vs Moxley was pretty good. So, Big Pete, why'd you single out the opener?
