-Jacobs later meets Lacey in a backstage segment where the poor lad is belittled by the NWA Woman's Champion as a "nasty loser."

4. The dastardly tricks of Doink The Clown prevail against the heart and fire of Tim Storm.

5. NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis survives the challenge of NWA Mexican Champion La Parka in a hard-fought back and forth match to unify both titles. Aldis puts over Parka in a post-match promo to a nice round of applause from the Providence crowd.

6. Lacey Evans steals a win over Bianca Belair & Thunder Rosa to retain the NWA Woman's Championship. Belair & Rosa dominated the match but would continually break up the other woman's pin and submission attempts. Following a ref bump Jimmy Jacobs intefered on Lacey's behalf. He was quickly taken out by a Belair Spear. Bianca followed it up by bodyslamming the love struck goofball. Rosa followed that with her patented top rope Sullivan Stomp. But Lacey threw Belair out of the ring while Rosa was in mid flight and hit Rosa with a lethal Woman's Right on her landing to steal a win and retain the title. She then gave an ecstatic Jimmy Jacobs the "honor" of strapping the belt her waist.

7. Jake "The Snake" Roberts defeated DDP with a DDT after pulling out every low down dirty trick in the book.

8. Demolition survive the Rock and Roll Express to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship in their toughest match to date. Ricky & Robert even scored a visual fall on the champs before eventually falling short in their quest to dethrone the champs.

9. Hulk Hogan defeats Bray Wyatt in a heated Steel Cage Match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

1. La Parka vs. "Mr. NWA" Damien Sandow- Grudge Match

The NWA fans have really taken to La Parka. This does not sit well with the self-proclaimed "Mr. NWA." Sandow is appalled by the mere existence of La Parka. I will let the man who will be starring as Footman #3 in the upcoming Tea Cozy remake explain for himself....

Sandow- There is absolutely no place for a chair guitar playing dancing skeleton in professional wrestling. It's ridiculous! The very existence of such a creature is a disgrace to the house that Sandow built. As Mr. NWA I will rectify this situation at Breaking The Chains. You're welcome.

2. Rock and Roll Express vs. "The Malcontent" Austin Aries- Handicap Match

Ricky & Robert bumped into Aries backstage a short time after their gut wrenching loss to Demolition at our last PPV. "The Malcontent" was his usual charming self. The two parties exchanged words. Aries dropped an "OK, Boomer" when the RnR questioned his bad attitude. Aries then claimed he could wrestle circles around both Ricky & Robert. The Rock and Roll Express decided to have Aries put his money where his mouth is, while NWA management was more than happy to oblige. So it'll be Austin Aries taking on both members of the Rock & Roll Express in a rare Handicap Match.

3. WALTER (c) w/ Jim Cornette vs. Tim Storm- NWA European Championship Match

Cornette was calling out both Hogan & Aldis following WALTER's impressive win over Kingston at our last PPV. He was interrupted not by The Hulkster or Slick Nick, but by Tim Storm. Storm explained the absence of the champs by correctly saying they are both very busy men. He then put over Big WALT as a great competitor who doesn't need Cornette before launching into a scathing tirade directed at "The Louisville Lip." It turns out Tim Storm has NEVER liked Jim Cornette. Among other things, he still hasn't forgiven Cornette over a long ago incident where Jim's big mouth got a still-growing NWA in some serious hot water. An irate Cornette challenged Storm on WALTER's behalf. Let's here from Corny Jim himself....

Cornette- Lemme tell ya something, Tim Storm. You just made the biggest mistake of your life. You should have got out while you could. You could've left with your broken down old man body still somewhat intact. At least you could still walk! At least you could still hug the grandkids! But no! You had to go and run your mouth. Well, your mouth just signed a check that your body can't cash, brother. This is real life. This is professional wrestling. It ain't some fairy tale. Oh sure. All the people love ya. But this ain't a popularity contest, brother. Ya see, Tim Storm. In real life nice guys finish last. And my man, Big WALT, is not a nice guy. He's 195 centimeters and 138 kilos of pure, unadulterated meanness. And now you've pissed him off! What WALTER is gonna do to you is.....well, tell 'em yourself, Champ.

Cornette- That's right, Tim. No remorse. No heart. My man is a killin' machine. And when we're done with you, we're coming for Hulk Hogan & Nick Aldis. Your days are numbered, boys. Pretty soon Big WALT and yours truly are gonna hold all the gold around here. Bank on it, brother.

4. Eddie Kingston vs. Doink The Clown- Grudge Match

This feud began when Eddie Kingston was chasing his longtime nemesis Jim Cornette around the locker room area and tripped over a booby trap Doink set up. Kingston took a hard fall. Doink thought this was hilarious. Kingston did not think it was funny. He expressed this distinct lack of amusement by straight up knocking Doink out with a Backfist To The Future. Now it's personal. Has the crafty clown bit off more than he can chew by targeting the angry street fighter from the mean streets of New York? Or will Doink once again have the last laugh? 5. NWA Women's Champion Lacey Evans & Jimmy Jacobs vs. Bianca Belair & Thunder Rosa- Tag Team Grudge Match

Bianca Belair & Thunder Rosa made a pact following their disappointing showing at the last PPV. No longer will they be killing each other just to get a chance at their mutual enemy, Lacey Evans. Now they have joined forces to rid the NWA of Lacey. And THEN they will get back to fighting each other.

Yep, Bake roasted me this round. Great card even without the backstory.

I feel like Shoot geared his card more towards me rather than, say, normal people.

Sting vs. Borga is an immediate attention grabber. But why choose this match for the Coal Miner's Glove stip?
Luger vs. Monty Brown would be a fun powerhouse battle.
Giant vs. Patriot would be an equally fun 1996 Nitro main event.
That non-Rhodes Team in his War Games is odd and random, but it's still a War Games. I also like his incorporation of the women into that match. It's something different.

Lacey has become somewhat more tolerant of Jacobs after the smitten star helped her keep the NWA Women's Championship at the last pay per view. Still no date, mind you, but Lacey has allowed Jacobs "the honor" of becoming her personal assistant. Jacobs now gleefully runs errands and performs demeaning tasks just so he can be close to the "love of his life." Jimmy Jacobs is having the time of his life now that he gets to hang out with the object of his heart's desire. He even created a song about it!




Meanwhile, Bianca Belair & Thunder Rosa made a pact following their disappointing showing at the last PPV. No longer will they be killing each other just to get a shot at their mutual enemy, Lacey Evans. Now they have joined forces to rid the NWA of Lacey together. Then they will get back to fighting each other.

With both women still irate at Jacobs as well, they challenged Lacey & Jacobs to a tag team match. Jacobs, overeager as ever, accepted the challenge before consulting with his mistress. Lacey was not happy about this. And to show her displeasure, she made Jacobs spend a week in a literal doghouse.

6. NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis vs. ROH Champion Jay Lethal- Title Unification Match

Lethal challenged Aldis to an NWA Championship Match after his impressive victory over Sandow at our last pay per view. "The National Treasure" was more than willing to put his title on the line against a man he has always respected. Yet "The Dealer" wanted to up the stakes. Champion vs. Champion. Let's unify the NWA Championship and the ROH Championship. One World=One World Champion. This is Nick Aldis' Crusade. Lethal, being a man of honor, accepted the high stakes challenge. The two noble gladiators sealed the deal with a handshake.

But Aldis was not done yet. He once again challenged Hulk Hogan to a Title Unification match using his now-famous "One World=One World Champion" line of thought. "Whoa, whoa. Just a minute now." replied Lethal, thinking Aldis was overlooking him. So this once friendly rivalry got just a little heated due to Aldis disrespecting the ROH Champion.

7. Diamond Dallas Page vs. Bray Wyatt- No DQ Match

The evil machinations of Bray Wyatt suffered a major setback when "The Fiend" succumbed to the awesome power of Hulkamania in Providence. Yet "The Eater of Worlds" has not given up on his plan of taking over the NWA and remaking it in his own image. He recently launched an attack on the popular Page. Wyatt would explain he targeted DDP because Dallas is a friend of Hogan whose status as "The People's Champion" upsets "The Fiend" because it's "another sign of the brainwashing NWA fans have had to endure." Wyatt remains committed to his quest of converting the NWA fanbase into "his little fireflies." DDP is just out for revenge as he vows to make Wyatt "FEEL THE BANG" in their upcoming No Disqualification Match.

8. Demolition (c) vs Road Warriors- Rochester Street Fight for the NWA Tag Team Championship

Demolition was on top of the world following a hard fought win over Ricky & Robert. They had beaten every team in the NWA. Hell, they ran off most of them. With no obvious contenders, they issued an open challenge. That challenge was answered by....

AHHH WHAT A RUSH!

The NWA faithful went wild over the returning NWA legends, giving them one of the biggest pops in the history of the Powerrr era. Hawk & Animal said they've been hearing about "the imitators" for a long time. But they've been busy kicking ass and taking names on two continents. Now the time has finally come to show the world who are the imitators, and who are the originators.

AHHH WHAT A RUSH!

Demolition seemed worried for the first time in their NWA careers, and actually bailed when the Road Warriors entered the ring.

NWA management made this a Rochester Street Fight. What better way to settle a match years in the making between the two most badass tag teams in professional wrestling history?

9. Hulk Hogan (c) vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts- World Championship Cage Match

Hulk Hogan was celebrating his big Cage Match win over Bray Wyatt when Jake Roberts emerged from underneath the ring to DDT "The Hulkster" as the crowd went from stunned to irate. Jake and Wyatt put the boots to Hogan for a minute until a group of good guy wrestlers lead by DDP made the save.

Roberts would then reveal his whole reason for coming to NWA. According to "The Snake," Hogan has been ducking him since way back in 1986 when The Hulkster allegedly forced the powers that be to Roberts away from him. Jake saw a way into the NWA through DDP. After using DDP to get in the door, Roberts ditched him.

Hogan calls Jake's allegations a bunch of lies. The fired up Hulkster requested this match be once again held inside a Steel Cage- his specialty. Hogan wasn't afraid of Jake then. And he's not afraid of Jake now. Whatcha gonna do, brother? I said WHATCHA GONNA DO, BROTHER, WHEN HULKAMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU!

Sting had experience in Coal Miner's Glove matches which was the most appealing poison. For the story of the War Games match Jericho came into the company to wage war on the Rhodes clan and wanted new blood on his side to wipe out old man Dusty and co. Petey and Davey were the best options for a bargain bin Triple Threat complete with Victoria in kind of the Francine role.

WALTER vs Tim Storm in an NWA setting could win this entire tournament for me.
